“We have been going to this taco shop for a long time. They always threat you like a friend. Those burritos are big and several items very good. I highly recommend this place to everybody. Ask for chilaquiles torta wow excellent. Dont forget to ask for a sweet dessert, Flan wow excellent”

“My second visit to Menya Ultra was just as impressive as the first. I enjoyed a delicious bowl of ramen paired with their crispy and flavorful fried chicken. The consistent excellence of their food combined with top-notch service makes it a must-visit. Looking forward to returning!”

“Such a charming spot. We were visiting and accidentally stumbled upon this place. Once you come here, you are family. We had a phenomenal time with Roberta and Barbara. We had so much fun with them. The food was amazing such a shame I forgot to take pictures. We had the spaghetti bolognese and we ate every morsel. Everything is fresh! Trust me, take a chance on them and it’ll be your “go to” Italian spot!”

“Goi Cuon is a hidden gem! They have amazing good and amazing service and amazing food! I love coming here cause they are never super busy and always super fast!! They have tons to choose from! The parking lot is super small and sometimes super hard to park! But street parking is also available!! Highly recommend this place!!”

“The tacos were good but tiny! We ordered the taco Tuesday special of 3 tacos for $9, they must all be the same type and you can only choose from a few options. Not a good value for the money, we will not eat here again”

“Happy they reopened! But now not only with pizzas but also items from Arrivederci. Ambience is cozy and intimate. Service was great. My new favorite is the artichoke as appetizer and the ravioli. Had also carpaccio and was perfectly seasoned. There are options for all tastes. Also great value.”

“Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed by the California kimchi burrito. Considering that it's Korean/Mexican, I figured it would be full of flavor. Instead it just tasted like potatoes, it was filling but not what I was looking for. Maybe it's cause I like spice and even with their dressing, I hardly felt a tickle The service was good though and I'd be willing to try a different menu item I just couldn't give this burrito 5 stars”

“I have been loving Olala crepes for years. I love their sweet crepes before and I have tried Nutella crepes and peanut butter crepes, I love both. I started to try their savory versions. Today I had their President crepe which has a thick layer of Brie cheese in! I love it very much. I will come back to try their other flavor crepes!”

“4.0/5 Been here a few times and always enjoy my experience. The beer and drink selection is very large and there’s always something new to try. They have a decent selection for food and have a lot of asian influenced dishes, but don’t expect them to be “authentic”. Still tasty though. The outdoor patio is very nice to hang out on, but the airplane noises can be a little obnoxious. Also not a huge fan of ordering from my phone, but I guess there’s pros and cons to that. Overall love this spot for a quick bite and to hang out with friends.”

“Ordered Basic Breakfast, Breakfast Sando, and Schnitzel & Eggs. Roasted breakfast potatoes were very nicely cooked and good bite sized pieces. This was on all 3 of the plates ordered. The Schnitzel & Eggs is a great option if you're feeling up for a filling meal, good enough to cover breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon bite. I requested eggs over easy and these were very good, enough liquid yolk afterward to mix with the pork loin. The pork loin was a very nice piece, not over-crisped; the gravy helps and so does a bit of the yolk too if it feels dry. The atmosphere here is great, staff are very patient and kind, and the location has mostly an outdoor setup. It's airy, spacious, you don't feel claustrophobic but there is spacious indoor seating as well. Rare for rain to impact the seating area but we were fortunate for the rain to stop shortly before we arrived. Thankfully wait times are short for brunch as well (5 minutes for us because they wanted to clean an outdoor table for us) and my group was very glad to make it over here. If you're considering Breakfast Republic one block over, reconsider and come here instead. The long waits and high paced feel of Breakfast Republic feel opposite to what The Presley offers. So come here!”

“Desi's is a really chill, low-key bar and grill directly north of Liberty Station in Point Loma. They have a great beer selection and a full bar. They also serve remarkably good bar food. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich or the corndog. They have a jukebox, two pool tables, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. An all-around good spot to hang out for an hour or two. Update: During the pandemic, Desi’s discontinued their original kitchen and menu and brought in a third-party group to run their kitchen. The food is still great. Honestly, the food is better than anything at Stone Brewing, and Desi’s is only two blocks from there. The chicken sliders and the smash burger are delectable.”

“Dirty Birds on Tuesdays is the best. Can’t go wrong with half price wings and they have been running that special for a long time. Work colleagues and I try to make it over there to partake every so often. Today I ordered an Ace Guava Cider as a refreshing drink to go along with the wings. It wasn’t as busy as I’ve seen it in the past but they had all of the televisions set to various sports stations and some music playing in the background. We all ordered the 10 piece wings with two flavors each. I ordered the Diablo and PMP Warrior sauces and since I like extra sauce I always recommend ordering them “Extra wet” if you like it that way. Additional note: you also have the option of ordering all drums if that is your preference. Ten wings comes with some celery and carrots and either blue cheese or ranch side. The Liberty Station location has a nice outdoor patio and plenty of seating inside too. Parking can be somewhat challenging on a busy day but there is a lot right by the building and, if nothing there, you’ll have to go to one of the main Liberty Station lots and walk. Service was friendly and casual - no formalities here. They also don’t have a problem splitting checks if you are going with colleagues so that’s nice. There are approximately 40 sauce flavors so if you love sauces like me there are plenty to choose from. I highly recommend them - especially on Tuesdays!”

“This place is so fun! It's filled with lots of different types of holes, variety of drinks to choose from, good customer service and good atmosphere. Shade throughout both parks for the summer heat and nice breezes coming through as well. Mini golf area is unbeatable!”

“Small but quaint-feeling location in Liberty Station. It can get pretty busy so I definitely recommend early on a weekend or during a weekday if you can. We went on a Tuesday recently and had no wait at all. The food is typically pretty good and service is always friendly. I like how cozy this location feels both inside and out. There's very easy parking but it can fill fast so just be aware! Always upgrade your potatoes! :) The food is very reasonably priced and you can't really go wrong with anything”

“Better Buzz has good coffee. They also have food. Because of this, they can get busy. Can make it a challenge to park. Inside, Better buzz is a nice place and very welcoming to sit and enjoy. It as also a good place to go while your CSS-2 EV is charging less than a block away. There are 4 chargers available by the Bank of America.”

“I came here about 20 years ago. What I remember is that the pancake that I ordered was bigger than the plate! I am happy to inform that it hasn’t changed. My husband and I shared the Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles. So so SO GOOD! We couldn’t finish the waffles. We had to wait for about an hour and 10 minutes. It was a Padres game day, a Sunday and peak brunch time. We just went for a walk because we know it was going to be very worth it! Staff was very nice. We ordered a few special drinks from the labor day weekend menu. Worth every penny.”

“This place was great, had the place to ourselves for dinner on a Friday night. Had the burger and it was pretty tasty, we just mentioned to the waiter we were gonna share and he brought it out split on two plates, which was really nice. He was attentive and refilled our drinks on time the whole time. There’s paid street parking on the perpendicular street.”

“Very friendly service, and colorful and fun atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating. Happy hour is from 3-6pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Great music choice for a festive vibe on a hot summer afternoon. The tacos are about $5 on normal times but they are pretty big tacos and stuffed full of goodness. They have lots of variety and it was really fun trying out the great variety of Baja style and classic meats. Need to remember to order chips extra as they are not included usually.”

“The atmosphere and vibe is great! Drinks are great! Service was good as well, but unfortunately the food was BLAND and SUBPAR. I would come back to drink, but not eat.”

“I stop here after my 10 mile walk in Balboa Park. If you like a lot of protein in your Phõ this is the place to go. The large has lots of protein that will fill you up. You get get an adequate amount of noodles in my opinion. The Spring Rolls are very good as well. I always go here in the middle of my 10 mile walk to rest and refuel. Definitely a place to go if you like Phõ.”

“Nice little sandwich shop in Hillcrest. The ingredients are fresh, and service is fast. There are tables inside as well as a patio located at the adjacent building. Also serves soups and salads. Solid spot for a fresh and filling lunch. Will definitely come back.”

“I visited Esca Blu for the first time on Saturday morning for brunch, we got lucky I guess, because we didn’t have to wait at all to be seated. We requested an outdoor table because the table we got inside was very uncomfortable, the hostess said she was cleaning the table and she would move us right away, but she forgot… I had to ask again, that took about 30min… I know it’s a new restaurant but it seems like they’re short staffed. The waitresses were trying but it seemed like they had more people than they could handle. They were nice, but we were having to request what we needed more than once because they kept forgetting. Kitchen was moving fast, we didn’t have to wait too long to get out food, but they took FOREVER to take our order. Food was DELICIOUS! We got the Brunch Pizza and the Cannoli French Toast, you can make the toast a full meal by adding eggs and bacon. We loved everything. They offer “bottomless mimosas” for $20dlls, but they have a 90 minute policy. The service is SO SLOW! They were taking forever to bring the mimosas, first the waitress said it was because they didn’t have enough clean glasses, and at the end when we tried to order another mimosa the waitress said he couldn’t because it was over 90 minutes already!!!!!! THEY GAVE US 4 MIMOSAS!. So I think the “bottomless mimosas” is a scam… It sucks because I was excited about this place and wanted to bring my friends for mimosas, but I guess not.”

“Loved the quick service, the super tasty ramen and toppings. Husband has the cold spicy dipping noodles, and the rest of us had the tonkotsu ramen with thick noodles. The broth was thick and flavorful. The roast pork belly was beautifully crisped. The egg was super soft and well seasoned. Excellent varieties of the dish.”

“Great spot for spicy fried chicken and cocktails! Loved the espresso martini and paloma. Spicy chicken sandwich was balanced and crunchy, slaw added a nice touch. OMG the Caesar brussel sprouts are a must!”

“First time here, and we would go again! The service was quick even though they were fairly busy. Prices are average for Thai food in this area. The food itself was good, I had drunken noodles (in photo) and my wife had Pad Thai. Hers was much better than mine. What I really liked, and this is more uncommon, was how spicy they made it for me! I like my spicy foods to taste like pain and they really came though! I've had many other restaurants around that were underwhelming in spicy, no matter how much I requested it. Another thing is I wish they served you on plates. All they have is plastic to-go containers. Seems wasteful and at this price point (for dining in) a bit under par. Overall the flavor of my drunken noodles was a bit bland and I wouldn't order it again but the pad Thai was delicious and we enjoyed the environment of the restaurant and will return!”

“We came here for San Diego Restaurant Week, and was glad we got to try a new place that was decent! The food was good. The steak was cooked perfectly. The duck confit was tender. The Crepes Suzette was interesting at first but ended up liking it. It's a tiny restaurant with only 20 seats inside. It's a very intimate setting. We didn't get to try too much of the wine because we went on a Monday and had work the next day. Maybe next time!”

“I recently opened a clinic nearby and my staff can’t get enough of this place. Our patients get lunch with their procedures and they always choose this place. I honestly can’t tell you what they put in these sandwiches (besides the best ingredients and love) that make their products taste so damn good. Not only does their food keep you coming back but the staff is so inviting, incredibly helpful, nice and they keep the place immaculate. I rarely go on google to write reviews but this location deserves the praise. If you haven’t stopped by you are missing out.”

“Food is a 10/10 amazing! Honestly better than Louisiana Purchase. But you should still try both. The have bottomless mimosa for only $20. Food price range from $8-$26 having fries as there cheapest and a New Orleans trio being the most expensive from their brunch menu. I highly recommend you this place a shot you won’t regret it! I had the shrimp po’boy and French toast with bacon and a ginger beer which came out to $40 not including tax and tip.”

“I absolutely love that place! Every time I walked close to this restaurant I saw a line in the street and now I know why. I had a Breakfast Jambalaya and my friend had the Vegan Breakfast Burrito; both plates were great and rich in terms of flavors and taste. The place has a great atmosphere and I like the playlist - 80’s songs. I just gave 4 starts since me and my friend felt a little bit of pressure to leave the table for the next guests. Besides that I totally recommend it!”
