“Man! I’m glad I found out about Laganippe! My service writer told me where he got his lunch, and I am happy to say that the jerk chicken sandwich was awesome! Great flavor, and cooked to PERFECTION! The fries are seasoned well, and the flavor is amazing! Give it a shot! But they sell out pretty fast, so don’t wait until the last minute before they close like I did. I missed out on the catfish. But I will definitely be looking forward to it when I go back!”

“Passing through on vacation and always willing to take a bet on a food truck. Holy cow was this one amazing!!!!! The California burrito was excellent. The fries add a whole demonic dimension to the burrito!! The carne asada quesadilla was the perfect blend of cheesy and meaty. But the Al Pastor Mula taco had me dancing in my chair! I will be dreaming about that taco for years to come.”

“Looking for some food to watch the game with I gave them a call for a takeout order. I was once again disappointed by a location seemingly having a limited menu, on the weekend no less, and couldn't order what I really wanted. I ended up with a 12 hot wing combo with fries. The wings were a good size, the hot buffalo sauce wasn't that spicy though. They were naked, not breaded, but not super crispy. The ranch dressing was lackluster, looked and tasted processed/oily and not dairy based. Didn't have much *ranch flavor. The fries were fresh and slightly sweet seasoned. Maybe I'll get to order that poboy next time.”

“The food was on point. This is not American's idea of a Mexican restaurant. So go in with an open mind. Ordered a la carte. They have a quick menu and a 'cook to order' menu. I got the carne asada tacos (flour) and carnitas tacos (flour) along with tostones, beans and rice. The rice is plain white and cooked well. The serving is enough for two. The beans were flavorful and with plenty of broth. The salsa for our chips was very tasty. The chips themselves were either stale or overcooked. The tostones were cooked perfectly and I even had ketcup-mayo for dipping. Again, serving was large. Favs were carnita and tostones. Staff was very friendly. The staff did not speak English. My Spanish is VERY shaky and the menu is in Spanish. HOWEVER, with a translate app, some patience and a little courage you can get a great meal. If they had an English version, I think there would be a line out the door!”

“I've been coming here lately trying to branch out of my usual spots. Kind of a sports bar, but not enough TVs or sports packages. Servers/bartenders are friendly and attentive. Food is good but a little on the pricey side. Has a nice covered back patio as well. It won't replace my regular bar but I'll keep coming when I want to chill someplace nicer.”

“Depends on when you dine. Breakfast service is good, dinner is awful. Bartender can't keep up, disappears or they put someone with zero bar knowledge behind the bar. Food is good but the ribeye is as good as a dinner or waffle house ribeye. Thin but seasoned well. It was cooked to the proper temp. The cooks are on point but dinner service needs some help and steak quality definitely needs help.”

“Our family of 11 people planned this long road trip/vacation all the way from Utah. One of our planned stops was at Trina's Sweet Treats & More. We had read the good reviews and I have to say this place lived up to the reviews and more!! Absolutely amazing treats, as yummy as they are beautiful. Service was also top notch. The young man behind the counter was so friendly, helpful and patient with such a large order (lunch and treats for 11 people). It's uncommon to find the kind of work ethic and service he gave.. HUGE kudos!! I also asked to speak with the owner (I assume that is Trina herself), and what an amazing sweet, beautiful lady she is. Thank you for being so kind and wonderful to our family. I wish we lived closer, we would be BIG regulars.”

“Newish offering for tex/mex latin cuisine. Came for lunch and ordered the steak burrito. Chips and salsa came almost immediately when I was seated. Food came out fairly quickly. Everything was good if not basic. My steak burrito was just steak and queso, no beans or rice or veggies. Again it was good, but a little rich without something to cut through all that heaviness. And not sure why but my platter came with rice but no refried beans? Also did not get a chance to try their Chile relleno as they were out. On the plus side they had cans of tecate. Service was attentive.”

“I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but felt it necessary as the business has been open less than a week (Whether the one star reviews previously left by others recognize this or not). And I plan to report the review from the woman that grossly bad mouthed a customer service worker far beyond a reasonable amount, and if you’re reading this you should too! There’s no place for such rude and malicious comments. Now to my actual review: personally, I thought it was great; the people that work there, the food itself, and the overall atmosphere. The pizza was delicious and everyone there was working their butt off to service a packed restaurant while still learning the ropes! We got a large pizza and wings, both were fantastic. Will absolutely be going back! To the team there, keep up the great work. And specifically to the woman referenced in the review, you rock! Cheers everyone!”

We had room service from here the first night we arrived. Ordered the catfish. On our last day there, we stopped in. The food was great and our waitress was wonderful.”

“Hey, if you like to gamble and book on sports, this place is probably for you. I wouldn't bother eating here. Just get a drink bet and eat elsewhere. It's kind of disappointing because it's closed on Mon and Tuesday, and we just wanted to grab some quick bar food. Some wings or a burger. I got the taco salad, and the bowl was so greasy, and the wings were not that great. But like I said, if you want to place a bet and grab a drink, it's perfect for that.”

“Recently went again after more than a year hiatus and was quite impressed. Had the pimento burger, spinach dip and a few drinks. The food was great, especially the pimento burger! Service was fabulous with everyone being friendly. I also accidentally left my sunglasses on the bar when I left. I was in quite a panic when I realized it as they were a gift from a friend who has since passed away. I checked back with martinis, honestly not expecting to find them as I figured someone else picked them up. I was surprised, they had found them and put them in the safe. I highly recommend giving this venue a try for dinner, drinks and great service.”
