Overall, it was a decent experience. There were some kids sitting near us that stared at us the entire time, and it was kind of uncomfortable. Other than that, an okay experience. Lot of potential for this place!”

“Wonderful place to have coffee on a Saturday afternoon. I had a vanilla cappuccino made fresh and a bagel with it. The bagel wasn't NY style or anything fancy but good none the less plus they gave me extra cream cheese which is a bonus. Friendly staff and quick to get my order out. They have a quick drive through. The coffee itself was fresh and hot. They use recyclable cups. The afternoon at 3:00 was not busy at all. Definitely recommend going here if you have the opportunity.”

“Visited Hatteras Bowls for lunch today. It's located in a small shack right next to Hatteras Island Surf and Sail. The reviews drew us in to try it and they were not wrong. We'll be back to try some other things from the menu. We ordered the Hatteras Bowl, Backdoor, Bermuda Triangle, and built one ourselves. Overall we really enjoyed the bowls and I recommend it.”

The owner was also our cook and server, and he was delightful to chat with during our meal. This is also a good place off Franklin St to stop and work or enjoy a meal with a friend or partner. Super friendly service, a great concept. They have a comprehensive menu with great snacks to pick up for breakfast (bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls) and a great coffee/espresso menu.
