“Community food court aka The Backyard is a food court with food pods and food trucks serving Mediterranean, Persian, Mexican, Soul food and gumbo. There are plenty of seats, it was quite cold and they do have heaters. The only reason why we decided to stop here was Al's Food truck, I first found the truck in Grants Pass, Or and was happy he was still around but in a different location. Next time I come, I would consider trying a different spot! I'm sure it gets busy in the evening and weekends. Mediterranean - Als Food Truck; Gyro's, Doner Kebab, Bazuka, rice bowls, hummus etc Persian/Lavender Truck - Sells Lavender beef jerky, lavender ice cream, Persian food, Steak, BBQ burnt ends. Mexican by Mega Tacos offers - Street tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, burgers, tlayutaco etc Soul Food - Fried chicken and waffles, fried ribs and veggies rice, mac and cheese and southern asada tacos etc The backyard - offers an eclectic menu; gumbo, cajun pasta, chili or chicken and rice, burgers etc Oh, I should mention their is a clothing store here. Ride 'Em Wear - customers can purchase clothing to represent their love for riding bikes, skateboards, horses, and other recreation activities.”

“First of all, I have to say, you must try. Beautiful outdoor setting! 😍 There are a few other food trucks in this food truck pod, but I usually do not eat at Mexican food trucks since I always cook Mexican food, but I thought I'd give this food truck a shot. Many options on the menu have meat and chicken, but I asked for a vegetarian Huarache. The owners were so sweet to make one for me with the veggie options I chose! It was so delicious! Another customer ordered a taco, it was not a small taco. The taco was "Mega" and looked so good! Oh and made with a fresh homemade tortilla! They also have hamburgers and fries! “My name is Kathy and I am responding to a review written by David Grissom on 4-11-15. First, let me start by saying I am one of the employee's that work there and I have been employed by Greg and Michelle for almost a month now. Second, I will tell you I am 36 years old and in my entire work history I have yet to work with such down to earth and reasonable bosses. I just want to say that this "manager woman" you were so quick to put down with your judgement's, has has a long career in restaurant management before her choice to work with subway. I do believe that in all those years you would find that most of the people that had worked for her still hold her in high regard as a person of integrity and a lovable spirit. This day you speak of may have been what you call a breaking point of constantly letting these "poor employee's" continually disregard the thing's that have been asked of them.....the things they are paid to do. I understand that you may have just been writing what you think was wrong with our management but anyone who has any experience in this field would know that before you post something so harsh that maybe you should wait and take a deeper look because what she does...what they both do (the owner and the manager) is not an easy task. My opinion, for what its worth, is they both do it very well and always do their best to be respectful and kind in doing it. They both are there working right beside us, just as hard....even harder because they want this buisness to be a respectable and desirable place for the customers that come there to spend their hard earned money. Nothing wrong with that in my book and if that means they have to, sometimes, remind the employee's (whom by the way, should not have to be told a hundred times what is expected of them) a little harshly (instead of just firing them or having their customers they value so much coming into a store that is not properly kept up) Then so be it. I love working for them as most of the employee's would say. We are all sorry that you had to hear that and she would never want her customer's to hear her rep-remanding an employee but the store is small and it was even done behind a closed door. I hope this is not something that will be held against her because she is such a wonderful manager and Gary is such a wonderful owner....thank you”

“Clean well lit video poker room attentive staff down home atmosphere. They've been doing a customer appreciation raffle for mouth of December. Giving away gift certificates from the areas businesses which is unheard-of now a days especially with no strings attached. You don't need to spend a dime to get a raffle ticket. The owners went out and purchased the gift certificates from various businesses non of those were donated. It's tough times for everyone even business owner that's why I'd give these guys 10 stars if I could. There's a few giveaways left get down and fill out a raffle and support this business”

“Quaint, hyper-local with unique offerings! Has a very vintage candy store feel with boutique sodas and toys from decades ago. Really cute retail area. And then, of course, an amazing ice cream counter!! They have a good variety of flavors, lots of fun offerings on the menu aside from scoops, and the interior is comfortable. I'm so glad more places like this are popping up in Medford!! The guy working was so helpful and friendly, it really made the whole experience perfect. Everything my husband and I tried was delicious and we even took some scoops home on the employee's recommendation. We'll definitely be back 😊”

“We just learned that they moved to new location, but are rebuilding in Downtown Jacksonville after a fire. So glad they found another location. It is in an industrial location on Sage Rd. So you have to drive but really easy to get too.. The inside is very nice and well done. I ordered takeout but we plan on going back for dinner again soon.. Food was DELICIOUS as usual!”

“So excited to have them out here in the Applegate Valley (Ruch)! Great location and great food at a reasonable price - all made fresh to order. There are a few picnic tables with umbrellas for 'dining in.' So happy that they have found a way to keep their business rubbing this way (by way of food trucks) while their Jacksonville location is rebuilt (after the fire (they told me that it has to be completely demo'ed 😞 and rebuilt from the ground up). “Location is nice with parking on the street. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Food is OK and the beer is good but it takes forever for the food to come out. You walk up to the counter to order your drinks and your food. In addition to our drinks, we ordered chicken wings, two pizzas, burger, a BLT sandwich and two wraps. The pizza's came out fairly quickly, in about 10 minutes. The food ordered from the kitchen, took ridiculously long. About an hour after the pizzas came out, our order of chicken wings came out. Then about half an hour after the chicken wings, our burger and BLT sandwich came out. Then about 30 minutes after the burger and the BLT sandwich came out, are two wraps came out.needless to say, our groups did not get to eat together because the meals came out so sporadically. I don't know if this is their way of getting you to order more drinks or what. But if you do decide to go here and order food, I recommend sticking with the pizzas and don't order anything from the kitchen. Unless you have a very long time to wait and don't mind your group eating separately.”

“Decent Q. Not the best I’ve had, but a solid showing. It’s the kind of Q that requires sauce and that’s usually a terrible thing, but in this case it’s strangely not. The mango habanero sauce I got was very delicious. That sammich was real messy, not that that’s a bad thing, just ensure you have plenty of napkins. Potato salad and coleslaw were both quite tasty. “This is a basic Carl's Jr. We got the Spicy chicken sandwich. Mine was fine, although the ingredients were in lumps on the chicken, rather than spread out. My wife's was like that too, but was quite greasy and had a chunk of carbonized batter that must have been floating around in the deep fryer inside -- an unwelcome added extra extra that tasted awful. Otherwise it was OK.”

“Even though they are going through renovations, the place is very clean. As you drive up on the outside, the place seems a little rundown. The food was delicious! If you go comparing it to other places, you will do yourself a disservice. The server, Terry, was the sweetest ever. I'm not one who likes onion rings, but their onion rings were very good, and the fries were perfect.. crispy outside, perfect salt balance and soft inside. The chicken tenders were tender on the inside and the breading with Crispy and yummy on the outside. Even had the fried cheese curds. They have become one of my favorite things. There may be times that I drive hours just for that.”

“Just left here for the lunch buffet and we will definitely be back! Ambiance is great. It feels exactly like I'd expect it to- warm with attentive staff. The food was great: butter chicken, mushroom curry, and the cabbage was at the top of our eat again list. What really pushed this place to a 5 star was the fact that the lunch buffet was only 15.00 a person. My husband said "those are 2010 prices!" Great value for great food.”
