“It was late and we had to find a place fast… So… It was crowded, so we thought, the place must be good. We found a place outside. There was a guy playing an e-piano and singing… But that was AWFUL at times… My wife and I had nachos. They were quite good, but not great. But the thing I hated was drinking beer and cocktails out of PLASTIC cups… 😖 But that‘s the American way… Me as a German there is nothing I can do about it…”

“Walked in for some food and beer, awesome place Walls are decorated with various trophies including a large bison head over the bar. Bartender was nice and took care of me quickly. Burger and fries were out fast too. Lots of seating inside and they have a patio out back. Cool bar, burger was good.”

“Really pizza in a nice setting - views over Main Street. (Noisy the week of the rally.). We custom ordered our pizza- and it was quickly made. Ice cream is standard Kemps - but a nice variety to try.”

“Great pizza and boneless wings. I can tell the boneless wings were hand breaded from scratch instead of the frozen boxed chicken every other pizza joint makes. Got seated right away. The food came fast and they even made me some plain chicken breast for my dog(calm down my dog didn't come inside). As far as this time of year goes this place is your best bet if you are in Keystone, South Dakota. They lose a star because the draft beer was way overpriced for some lackluster regional brews. Next time I'll carry out and buy some grocery store beer for drinking.”

“Exceptionally well kept cafe with plenty of space. The service is extremely friendly and the breakfast is hard to beat. The breakfast burrito is almost a must, and you should definitely order it with green chili. This is then so apetit stimulating that you can manage the large portion without problems. And also the coffee can stand up to high European standards. Simply fantastic.”

“Fantastic friendly service a must eat place in hill city. Cheaper than most all of the other places and tastes really good. All of their food is good but I would have to say that the cheese steak and the cheese curds were soooooo good. Like my mouth was watering. I didn’t get a picture of the cheese steak because it was gone in a matter of minutes.”

“The walleye was delicious..just fair warning there are bones. The green beans and sweet tater fries were amazing, too! Our waitress was brand new and did a fantastic job. Definitely stop in for a great atmosphere and delicious food. ** the portions are large..my portion shows what I shared with my mama.”

“Possibly the best Hawaiian burger (“Pineapple Express Burger”) I’ve ever had. Perfectly done! Another person in our party had the cheeseburger, and said that might be the best cheeseburger she’s ever had. Huge burgers, tender tasty meat, and fresh toppings and cheese served by a very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!”

“Pulled pork was super yummy…love the real cut French fries. My soda didn’t taste right but owner was real nice about changing it. Hubby thought his chicken was a little over done but still ate it, waiter took some off the price without us even saying anything, which was nice but truthfully we weren’t gonna complain. My daughters chicken strips were tasty too. Service was quick but kind of wondered why they were bringing food in from outdoors and realized the kitchen was upstairs. Wasn’t sure about that but food came quickly enough that the temp was still quite warm.”

“the mine went further back than we thought. fun experience the kids enjoyed it. they have an old mining cart that you can sit in for photos inside the mine. tour guide gave great facts about the mine the entire tour. if someone needs to have a wheelchair it's easy to push through the mine as well.”

“Warm welcoming when we entered. Friendly staff! These folks are not afraid to feed you. I wish I was able to take more food pictures before we devoured our meals. Bacon good! Biscuits good! Hashbrowns good!!”

“Cabins are nicely renovated but beds are so soft that two people in a queen sag into the middle. The food is just awful. Limited choices and none of them are good. The dining room has the ambiance of a bad high school cafeteria. Staff is friendly and helpful. The gift shop is very nice, better than most National Park gift shops. Location is fabulous with easy access to the sites of the Badlands but it's really the only game in town. On the whole, good place except for the food and beds.”

“Great ride through the hills! It was a nice paced, easy ride through some beautiful landscape which included giant boulder rocks, over streams, across bridges, up hills, wide and somewhat narrow paths. A delightful experience we would do again!”

“Why eat at any place in Wall when The Steakhouse is a short drive east in Philip? Nicely decorated bar and restaurant, very home and welcoming. The special was a nice ribeye- $24 instead of $32! It was great, a very good steak cooked perfect. Small but good salad bar and a very sweet waitress. Great restaurant in a quaint town, highly recommended.”

“Burgers are amazing. Wish there were more places like this. The onion rings are probably some of the best I've ever had. Fries and nachos I'd pass on next time. Too bad they don't have home cut fries instead of the sad frozen skinnies they offer. Charging for small fountain water is kinda strange.”

“A really fun stop on our trip! This diner seems to be in the middle of the south Dakota plains. The food was alright, but it was the staff that made our experience. Kevin spent about 20mi a trying to pitch us on the museum and just chitchatting with us while being absolutely hilarious. The staff make you feel welcomed, and provide a wonder experience”

“We had a wonderful dinner after a day driving. Vinny served us as well cooked our meal. He was excellent. The smoked brisket was Phenomenal. Very tasty and moist and the barbecue sauce was delicious. My husband asked for more meat and was well worth the additional cost. The grilled chicken salad was very good. The chicken was moist, the greens were fresh and the homemade dressing very good. Too bad we won’t be traveling this way again. Definitely would recommend a stop.”

“The last time we were here was 2013 with our kids, on the way home from Yellowstone. We just happened upon this place then, but the pizza was so good that my husband and I stopped here again on our way back from another road trip. We waited 1.5 hours for it to open, and I ended up having a great chat with the owner while we waited for our order. What makes this pizza so amazing is the non-traditional dough and the cinnamon crust which you dip in the side of frosting. IT'S SO GOOD! Murdo is a small town, and this place was an unexpected find that will always keep us coming back!”

“We loved our visit to the Buffalo Bar And Restaurant. Classic atmosphere, food and service. Gourmet? No. But tasty and a great place to stop whether you're local or traveling on I-90. We would return for sure.”

“Our family just got back from spending a week in South Dakota and this is by far the best campsite we have stayed at. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure my family had a memorable vacation. The property has brand new facilities for showers that were fantastic along with family events planned on the weekends. On Saturday night they had a BBQ and a band that was amazing and it was so great to meet other campers in the area. Having the George S. Mickelson Trail right behind the campsite was amazing and we were able to hop on every morning for a great bike ride. The site is centrally located between Custer State Park and Rapid City making this a great central location for other family members to join us. This will be a new annual camping trip for our family!”

“Delicious! I read reviews before coming here and saw that most of the negative ones were not about the food, but rather the commenters’ own stupidity for assuming a small pizza shop in a tourist town could accommodate unrealistic expectations, so my fiancé and I decided to give it a try. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The pizza (sausage and pepperoni) was of the better pizza I have had. Crust was average thickness and tasty, toppings and cheese were cooked perfectly. I’m glad I cheated on my diet today and gave Eno’s a try! Thank you for the pleasant experience!”

“On a trip of 10 days to several states, many towns, and a few cities, this was my favorite burger and fries. And ice cream. Take time to appreciate the setting from scenes in North by Northwest. It puts you right there. The food options here are plentiful and fresh. I had no problems needing gluten free. Don't pass up on dessert. The ice cream is so good. We got the vanilla (original recipe brought over from France by Thomas Jefferson). It's so buttery! Servings aren't stingy so you may want to consider sharing.”

“Great food, huge portions, friendly service! We were famished after a day of driving to Wall and then the Badlands loop. We went to Wall Drugs and visited some of the souvenir shops. It was nearing 8:00 and we asked about places to eat and Badlands Saloon and Grill was recommended. We walked across the street, were seated quickly, and the friendly service began shortly. I had the chicken fried steak (HUGE portion and cooked perfectly) with french fries and a house salad with Ranch dressing. My wife had the cheeseburger with fries. Thanks for the great food and fantastic service. If we are ever back in Wall, we shall return!”

“Service and food was good- not excellent, but good. The main reason for my 3 🌟 rating is the sneaky charge for Chips and Salsa. The server asked us if we would like chips and salsa- which is customary for most Mexican Restaurants. THEN we found out that there is a $7.00 charge. I say sneaky because nobody mentions that there is a charge- and since Chips and Salsa are complimentary at many Mexican Restaurants, we didn't think to ask.”

“We came for an early lunch after a morning in the Badlands. The staff are super friendly and despite being fairly busy, everything came out very quickly. The loaded oles are a must for anyone who loves potatoes and nachos. We all got different cuts of beef: the cowboy, the rib eye, the t-bone, and the NY strip. All were cooked perfectly. We also each got a different side so we could taste everything. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy was heavenly. The french fries and tater totes were honestly also really delicious. I'm a huge supporter of local businesses and was happy to find such a little gem here. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area.”
