“I went here with a family. The place was not busy. They took care of our orders right away. The service was very friendly! I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was not runny and thin. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the biscuits had been toasted on the grill before being put together. I really enjoyed the food. The people I went with enjoyed their food, also. I have been to this location before when it was a different restaurant. It is difficult to notice because of the way the building is built.”

“Went there a few weekends ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The area was very clean, the place was full of customers and we were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in the door. We waited about 15 minutes for out food to be prepared and after reviewing these comments I think people need to understand the concept that this is not "fast food" It's not premade... it is made once you order. For our family of 4 the meals were made quickly and wonderfully and we will definitely be returning!”

If you like Glass Nickel, order here instead. If you usually order from franchise chains, give it a shot. Notes: - Both thin and hand-tossed pies are good (hand-tossed can feed a crowd and a half). - Have not yet tried wings or mac - I've had no issues with slow service. - Hours aren't great (close at 8 PM seven nights a week)”

“Had an awesome evening at this fine establishment! One of my must have for a successful evening is a friendly, outgoing wait staff. Cara hit a home run in that department. Allowed us to be slow and yet very attentive. The food was the best. Love the firecracker shrimp and baked French onion soup. Our main entrées were perfect. My steak was done to perfection. And their asparagus is always grilled just right. Their special dessert of bread pudding was out of this world.....I consider myself a specialist on bread pudding! Who ever thought to use croissants as the bread source! It made something I already enjoy to a rating of over the top !! Did not want the evening and fine service to end!!”

The on-line system does not compensate for kitchen capacity, and the cooks can't keep up during rush as no matter how busy, you can still submit immediate pick up. Call in your order and they will give accurate wait time. There are a few kinks to work out, but for a new restaurant they show great potential!”

“Excellent. We got a large hand tossed pepperoni, the garlic parmesan dough balls, and some boneless Buffalo wings. The dough balls were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and very flavorful. The wings were terrific. Just the right amount of breading and the Buffalo sauce was very tasty. Big fan of the pizza. It's not fancy, but was everything I want in a pizza. The crust was perfect, the sauce was delicious, and the toppings were cooked well. And all of this for an excellent price. Will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone.”

“I am so happy to have Ancora in their new spot in Maple Bluff! As someone who has frequented the other locations for years, I didn't think they create an even cooler space with the 3rd location, but they did! Love the interior and the expanded bakery offerings. The honey bacon biscuit is a go-to but I also love the churro french toast dippers and of course all of their coffee drinks. The weekend brunch specials are something my family looks forward to every week. We recommend Ancora to everyone and so love and appreciate the curbside option if we just want to swing by, pull up and grab our order. Otherwise dining inside is a lovely environment too!”
