“5 OUT OF 5 STARS! My wife and I live a few blocks away and she found this place by accident. Thankfully! I grew up eating Mexican food all over Southern California and I have NEVER seen anyone grill some burnt cheese on the outside seal of the burrito! It tastes delicious and the burrito doesn't bust open. Genius! Why isn't this done everywhere? My 1.5 year old loves it too, for real.”

“Food was great, but when I order Italian food with Italian salad I’m expecting Italian dressing. Who gives ranch with an Italian salad?! Unless specifically asked, you give Italian dressing with an Italian salad. Really ruined my salad. I ate it with no dressing!”

“Great deals and great food. We had one of the combo options during our visit and I was delicious. Choose you spicy level and enjoy your chicken sandwich. Conveniently located near Fieldworks, if you want to go there before or after your meal at Dave's!”

“I love this spot! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good low key bar. Old school music, reggae, rock, TVs for the game. Tons of beer options on tap or in the Cooler and very knowledgeable bar tenders. Might be my new Sunday for the games. They only serve beer and wine, but that's all I need. Ambiance: 4.5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Price: 5/5 Overall: 4.5/5”

“Cozy, quaint, bright, modern place. Unique egg dishes, locally sourced produce and meats, lots to chose from. We had the french toast with chicken sausage, and baked eggs topped with portobello mushrooms with side of baby potatoes. Yum, yum, yum. French toast made with crusty bread and baked, topped with whipped cream and syrup...ah soo good! Worth the above average wait.”

“I am a busy person that has tried to save time in the kitchen with take-outs and meal kits, but these options never satisfied my cravings for nutritious homemade meals. I’m so lucky to have found Mikki at Alab. In the past month, I feel like I’ve had a personal chef whipping up fine-dining quality food in the comfort of my home. Every meals from Mikki has been fresh, flavorful, plant-centric and nutrient-dense. I love that the ingredients are organic, seasonal and sustainable. I feel nourished and am always looking forward to the next delivery from Mikki.”

“Found this in a random search for ice cream, and so glad I did! Took my nieces there and met the owner, who started the business with her daughter. She was absolutely wonderful, giving free ice cream samples and answering all our questions. The ice cream was phenomenal, and we also got chocolate dipped pretzels, Oreos, and apples, which were also phenomenal. They also serve root beer floats and hot chocolate! Support local businesses and come here!”

“This is a very unique luckys location and not like the bigger ones that are in Dublin, San Lorenzo, and Alameda. It has that traditional mom & pop grocery store feel to it, and that's that I think makes this particular location so special. Ps: they got the best grocery store fried chicken and fixings, and the employees were pretty nice to me yesterday, and they sure do treat people well!”

“I was here for a Yelp elites event. It is located on Dublin parkway across the street from the Dublin post office. It's a great bar and the event was also organized very well. They have over 32 different beers on tap. It has a small pizza maker to pair with your beer. If you want a broader selection of food then make sure you visit on Fridays where they host food trucks. The staff is very friendly and their service is really great. There are a lot of seating areas inside and outside. Make sure to check out their shuffle board, darts and their Corn hole area at the back of the bar. It's a place to explore not just for beer but to connect with every detail piece of interiors they have on their walls. I was here on a week day but definitely a place to visit on a Friday where beer lovers can enjoy various brews and foodies will get to try the food from the food trucks.”

“We usually only come here for special events where they do a set menu and wine pairing. Last one we went to was Hawaiian themed with a live band playing Xmas music island style. We always have a good time. It's usually fairly intimate and each dinner has about 20-25 guests. Just follow Castro Valley Marketplace on social media to get notified about these events.”

“Pizza the Bay may not be for everyone but if you like the thin crust style, with toasted crust edges style with top notch ingredients you will really, really like these pies! The Calzone is amazing as well... Had a really excellent Caesar salad too... Also of interest to some, they have really tasty cocktails available from the bar next door. I really have mixed emotions about posting this review because once people start to discover this little gem, it is going to be a very long wait to get in...”

“I got BBQ meal regular size. Side foods and corn bread made me full. I wish they would offer more meat instead of 2 sides and bread. Tasty food. Very popular place. Avoid peak time or order ahead of time online. There are indoor and outdoor tables. Food menu has variety, sandwiches, BBQ meal...”

“Just so everyone knows, This place is a co-kitchen with ramen 101. You cannot order in person. You have to order online and pick up to eat there or to go. I ordered the Three Taco sampler. It came with a lot of meat. Each item tasted pretty good. My favorite was the one with jalapeno sauce. The price is a little high, but I would come back again to try the other items.”

“Greenhouse is getting a plethora of new Chinese restaurants and 和记 is the newest on this list. They took over the former Urban Ka-Re spot diagonal from McDonald's. Easy to spot on the right as you enter Greenhouse from Washington Ave. Parking is easy and plenty as the plaza never gets too busy. Currently they have a grand opening special for their signature Hainan chicken lunch box - only $9.90 (originally $15.50) and comes with a small salad, the special Hainan chicken rice and a soup. The chicken is tender and delicious! Cooked perfectly and juicy - it gets my chicken loving family's approval. We also tried their chiu chow braised duck and the flavors weren't as prominent as we'd like. On their menu they serve much more than Hainan chicken. There's chiu chow appetizers and a craft your own noodle bowl option. Excited to see this place open and try more of their items!”

“Very flavorful but maybe a little bit salty for some people, meat is very tender and juicy, authentic Hongkong style food. Price is average considering everything go up now! Since it’s pretty new, so it’s pretty clean inside. This place will definitely one of my go to restaurants for Cantonese food.”

“I really like this supermarket in California. As a former Bay Area resident I shop Lucky's for their best in class meats such as steaks. I also enjoy their seafood choices like their crab legs, both snow and dungeness are priced at good prices. I highly recommend Lucky!”

“I recently visited this Mexican market and restaurant and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a truly authentic Mexican atmosphere that made me feel like I was back in Mexico. The market had an impressive selection of traditional Mexican goods and ingredients, including fresh produce, meats, and spices that you can't find anywhere else. I was also impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the market, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. Now, let's talk about the restaurant - the food was absolutely amazing! I tried a few different dishes and each one was bursting with authentic Mexican flavors that truly transported me to Mexico. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality of food. What really set this place apart, however, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. They even offered us suggestions on what to try, which only added to the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this Mexican market and restaurant to anyone looking for a truly authentic Mexican experience. Five stars all around - you won't be disappointed!”

“The new restaurant provides bento box lunches with very good portions, pretty good tastes and a very reasonable price. $16 for 3 dishes w/ rice (or $2 off w/o the rice). They also have many steamed buns and braised meat to choose from.”

“Place looks kind of dark inside like it's not open even though there's an open sign that says it is open. The chia latte is not too hot but it's good. The pastries are pretty good. My mom's mint latte didn't really taste much like mint. Edit: I looked back at the receipt and found out that it was a vanilla latte and not even a mint latte. We got served the wrong drink. My mom also complained to me that it was not hot but they did offer her a replacement for her wrong drink.”
