“We are so excited to have this new restaurant in our town. The cheese pie is one of the best things I’ve tried in quite some time. The phyllo is perfectly flaky and savory. The filling was a great balance of mozz and feta. I couldn’t decide if I liked it better with or without the delicious red sauce. The gyro is tender and flavorful, with nice crispy edges. The grilled veggies are hands-down the best on the Northshore. The owner was very kind and very excited to share his delicious food and his vision for the restaurant. I can’t wait to go back, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with the decor.”

“Chicken was hot and fresh, batter was crispy and good. Spice level on medium and hot were good. The fries were pretty good too. Sauce was tasty, but the honey was even better with the chicken. Owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Always nice to see an owner taking pride in his business - he came and talked to my wife and I directly and asked if everything was good. “Place was amazing! My friend and I went and each got 5lbs. I'll give this 4 stars for someone who likes spicy and 5 stars for someone who doesn't. The spice to me was perfect as I don't like too much and the flavor was great! I also ordered some eggs which i'll give 0 stars because the eggs were overcooked and tasted burnt. Never again. Overall I will be back for some crawfish! This place is also not meant to sit down and eat as we thought we were going to sit down and enjoy some crawfish but had to go somewhere else. Also the lady at the front was so sweet! She let us try the crawfish before buying and let me try some neck bones that I grew up eating. I will have to come back and try them.”

“The inside of the restaurant is tasteful, colorful, and whimsical. You almost feel as though you've actually been transported to Peru. There's an adorable photo op with mountains and a large stuffed alpaca for the kids.. Most of the sauce offering seem to be mayo based. I'm not a fan, but my dinner guest found them enjoyable. The chicken was not as exciting as I expected. I thought there would be more of a char or coal smoke flavor to the chicken, but it mostly just tasted of chili powder, which I personally didn't enjoy. The sauces apparently compliment the chicken very well, according to my dinner guest. The plantains were exactly what I expected. Nothing extra, perfect in their simplicity. I will caution if you're not a fan of raw onion to speak up. I was delighted by the aroma and the amount of raw onion personally, but I can see where someone who isn't a big fan would have been put off by it. I did give service 4 stars. They were quick and polite but our waitress didn't refill drinks and we had to flag someone else down for silverware. Over all, very clean and the food and atmosphere are nice. Would definitely recommend especially if you enjoy strong chili flavor.”

“We decided to try this place because our favorite place went down in good quality. We decided to go and celebrate our boys birthdays. I wish I would have taken a picture of their food. The serving size was on point! We have been to places where the serving size was enough for a 2 year old but not my 8 year old boys and priced high. NOT here, very generous serving size and price was great! Our food was delicious! Also, they brought out two huge fried ice creams for our boys!! And didn’t charge for it! Staff was great & we will definitely be back!”

“Ordered Chicken sheek kabob while driving from New Orleans to Lafayette. This is the second time I have ordered the same item. The first time was over a year ago. It was one of the best sheek kabobs I have ever had. I really like that they put a ton of seasoned green peppers and onions on top of it. If I lived closer I would definitely try their other items.
