“Wish I had a little more time this morning as I would have taken a few pictures and stayed a few minutes. I was amazed by all the customers that were calling ( I’m guessing a couple or maybe just family) them by their names as well as everyone who was there,the owner’s were calling them each by their names. Not only did they know the names of the customers but they seemed to know about their work. Very nice people great atmosphere with amazing service and attentive attitude. I had looked on line for a breakfast pizza and I not only had a delicious breakfast I got a great start to my day and left smiling 😊. So needless to say I had to google and look up a review site. I wish I could tell you more but I only was there briefly waiting on my pizza. I will definitely be back there as I work in retail and I no longer head south so now I’m going north for work in different stores this will be on the top of my list. And anyone reading this and in the Scarborough area I recommend you stop by and say hello and see for your self 😊”

“Adorable new bake shop in the heart of Freeport. Tons of gluten free options! We enjoyed a warmed cinnamon roll in store and brought some apple cake to a dinner party. Both were spot on. “Strange experience here. It’s possible that they have the best Italian food in Maine, but I’ll never know; we left because the woman behind the counter refused to give us what we asked for. It would be great to try their food with more accommodating service. My friend politely asked for lighter cheese on one half of a pizza because she has lactose issues. The lady behind the counter flat-out refused more than once, saying “cheese or no cheese, that’s how I make ‘em,” with this energy like we had asked for the moon and the stars and she was putting her foot down, ready to die on that hill. I have never encountered so much resistance to such an easy request. I have worked at two pizza places, and this is not a big ask; in fact, I have never heard of anyone objecting to it. Maybe this woman had just had a tough day, but why hurt the business over it? Whoever gets a bad experience tells other people. If there are other staff who are friendlier and more helpful, and the food is as good as it looks in the photos, then it’s a shame that one staff member is driving away business from a place, when other staff members might be going above and beyond.”

“I ordered some breakfast from Navis cafe twice. (Uber eat) today was second time i received the wrong sandwich. Veggie in sandwich were not really fresh. But ok for me, I took they off. 3rd Time Uber eat order 2nd time online orders. September 10,2022 (Saturday morning) This our 4th time dining in at restaurant. We really disappointed on our breakfast I ordered the Bow with wraps, the bacon was really cold, like the bacon left over from Friday:( my boyfriend ordered the Navis Cobb. The salad was missing bacon and we found a bond hair in the salad :( I told the waitress about this situations. They offered us refund but we refused. Because we will return to our he restaurant sometime soon.”

“Had an incredible experience at this local neighborhood eatery that doubles as the perfect date night spot. Upscale look, very friendly vibes and most importantly, great food. The squash toast was exceptional, as were the beats, and the steak was the best, most flavorful steak I’ve had in a long time. Bar selection was good and my fiancé had a great mocktail for all you NAers. To top it all off, the dessert selection was fantastic. “Delicious bagels! I loved the fennel seeds on the everything bagel--a really unique touch to the typical everything bagel. Because of the natural yeast, it had a light sour dough flavor which was really nice. Picking up single bagels was super fast. Interesting place where it looked more like a warehouse where they made the bagels, but they had tables outside on a deck where you can enjoy your breakfast sandwich. Looking forward to going back for one of their breakfast sandwiches!”

“Sometimes the food isn't the only thing that gets a place 5 stars. I will be super honest and say that I have had better quality food. For me the reason I would go back would be for the hospitality! My waitress was noticeably stressed (expectedly so considering it was quite busy), yet still managed to provide wonderful hospitality given the circumstances. If only a few more people worked here to take off the load. I wish I could cook but I just learned how to make grilled cheese this year 😅 (true story).”
