Little Caesars Pizza

Address: 810 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Meal delivery Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - T-Mobile Tuesday deal for a Slices-N-Stix for $3 so decided to try it! It's a pizza with half made into a pepperoni pizza and the other half into Italian Cheese Stix (bread with Italian spices and cheese). The pizza was actually really good as it was soft and cheesy. The bread sticks were better than their crazy bread in terms of texture and flavor as well Ambience: 2/5 - ordered online for pick up. There were random party strings attached to the door. The place where customers stand in was clean and neat but it was chaos behind the counter. Not sure why there was a pizza on the floor but the oven started alarming and some smoke was coming out. Several workers were scrambling on the other side and random patches of flour were in the ground as well.... Service: 5/5 - the Pizza Portal had a note of wait for door to close before it would allow us to take action. However, no doors were open in the front and we couldn't get past the message. The cashier was handling all the craziness happening in the store and addressed us as soon as he could. He was able to grab our pizza from the back of the portal and a crazy sauce for us Value for price: 5/5 - great price at $3 for the meal so super worth it as it was quick and tasty”

Blue House Bakery & Cafe

Address: 609 N Canyon St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“Well located. Very nice outdoor seating. Say hello to the friendly grey cat who lives on the porch. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They know the names of regulars. Good location for a leisurely breakfast or to pick up something to carry out. Simple breakfast menu, but something for everyone.”

“Unbelievable how delicious the fresh made burritos are.”

Danny's Place

Address: 902 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“EXACTLY what you'd expect from a barbecue place! From the traditional barbecue decor to the perfectly smoked meats, to the tasty desserts, you're sure to enjoy every minute and every bite. The French fries are a very interesting cut, crispy on the outside, very tasty. The sweet potato fries are served with syrup, but you likely won't need it. I had the 3 meat dinner and mom had the ribs. Everything was very enjoyable. Our server, Kristin, was very attentive and friendly. Also, I don't think it's a leap to say that this place serves THE BEST sweet tea in all of Carlsbad. Highly recommend!”

El Diamante Restaurant

Address: 106 W Bonbright St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“Service was good! The food looks good but is a bit bland, needs more seasoning. The menu is very limited but this is the same across most mexican places in Carlsbad.. The red enchelada sauce is a bit more like Mole sauce(sweet) and the fajitas were a bit tough.. But If you are hungry, it will fill the gut.. just know there are better places in town.”

Mi Casita

Address: 309 N Main St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“The food was hot and fresh. There was lots of food for the price, salsa was good, thin and crispy chips, and super friendly service. I regret not grabbing some of that dessert that one staff member said she'd gladly split with me if it's too much. Lol, I loved that. I will return for a sweet fix.”

Anthony's Place Restaurant

“Delicious! My first time here and it was a nice place to dine in. Customer Service was amazing. Very clean and food is great! I had steak tacos, beans, and chips and salsa. My husband had Chicken Fajita bowl and said it was very good! He later had a chicken quesadilla that was good also.”

“I had the chorizo tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had and I loved their hot sauce. The rice and beans were also amazing!! If I’m ever in Carlsbad again there’s no way I’m not stopping here. The woman working the counter was really nice too! :)”

PJ and B’s Rio Cafe

Address: 711 Muscatel Ave, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“This place has delicious food. I order often. The last two times I have ordered though I asked for certain things, because of allergy. Like no rice. Which I will just eat around it and any rice that got in the part of the food. The bowl combo the cheese got left off and I paid extra for a couple ingredients beyond being 3 and 1 meat item on the bowl. I also asked for the Chile not to be smothered but on the side. It’s usually no problem. Last two times it has been smothered. On the 3 burrito with a side salsa I pay extra on the app and I never do get the side salsa. It was not there either. The burrito that ended up smothered has no beans like it was supposed.”

Thelma's Wangs & Thangs

Address: 2305 San Jose Blvd, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“This is the spot for wings. The variety of sauces is excellent. Perfectly fried up and packing flavors. The chicken on the stick with fresh cut fried is my personal favorite. An rhat OG sauce. That sauce!! You could literally drown anything on that menu with that sauce. So good! The people are super friendly and inviting. Best wings, hands down in or around this area”

Cajun Station

Address: 1611 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“Very good service from very beautiful woman. Every time I ordered my food, I always got what I ordered.”

Cal's Shade Western

Address: 1611 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“I've been here a few times and love the prices. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. They need a bit of tlc for the place. The pool tables are either not level or the balls don't come out correctly. We wasted 3 dollars just to get a full set of balls to play with. And there is literally one pool cue that is decent enough to use. The dj there played the music so loud that it was hurting our ears and we couldn't talk to each other. Even when asked to turn it down, he would turn it down for a song, then just crank it back up, and he didn't take requests. The area by the pool tables is so incredibly hot we were sweating but wanted to play some pool so we had to deal with it. They serve food, but I'm not sure it's every night. It's very tasty though.”

La Juanita Mexican Cuisine

Address: 2704 San Jose Blvd, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“This is one of those hidden jewels that usually only locals know about. It appears that the restaurant is going by the name Kicho's Restaurant now and the food truck out front goes by the name La Juanita's. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is very good especially compared to other restaurants in Carlsbad. There's nothing "fancy" about this restaurant, but it's clean and the food quality is excellent. The building is rather old, but it has had some recent renovation including the flooring. It's not on the main road through town so it's rarely crowded. The employees seem to genuinely care about providing a good customer service experience. They have a very positive attitude and are eager to help. Keep in mind that this is a locally owned restaurant and the atmosphere is very laid back. Usually customers are encouraged to choose their own table and then a server brings the menus along with chips and salsa. Speaking of the salsa, I totally agree with the other reviews raving about the delicious salsa! For my dinner, I selected the Combination #25 consisting of enchilada, chile relleno, and a flauta (basically a rolled up crunchy taco) and sides of beans and rice. It was a delicious and filling meal for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike!”

Mi Juanita

Address: 2704 San Jose Blvd, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“Looked this place up on Google and decided to give it a try. It's definitely the best choice. They don't speak the best English, but I was able to get my order in with my little bit of Spanish I know and her experience with English. The burritos were so delicious and the perfect portion. I will continue to go here every time I visit. Loved it!!”

Restaurant

“Good food and service.”

El Nopal

Address: 2704 San Jose Blvd, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“We were in Carlsbad on a road trip and grabbed some dinner at El Nopal at the end of a long day. The host was very patient with us and our questions. They gave us chips and an amazing spicy green salsa while we were waiting for our food, which came pretty fast since we visited about an hour before closing time and there were few other customers. The food tasted great and they gave us pretty good portion sizes. We all left very satisfied and we would definitely return if given the chance.”

Sno To Go South LLC

Address: 1713 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

“We are not from the area but were visiting this past weekend. We wanted to try some local things so my sons and I stopped in for snow cones. I had the pomegranate and have to say it was the best snow cone I’ve ever had! Just the right amount of sweet and tart. Will definitely visit again when in the area!”

La Regia

Address: 1801 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“All you can eat Mexican restaurant with additional dishes on the regular menu. Food on buffet line has a mixture of meats like pork, beef, and chicken cooked different ways. Usually 2-3 types of soups like chicken soup, menudo, and pozole, and of course your sides like rice, beans, enchiladas and Mexican spaghetti. They also have a salad and dessert bar as well. Friendly staff and definitely good food, worth a try.”

Taqueria Jalisco

Address: 4103 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“Tried this restaurant for the first time today. Restaurant was decorated very cute and was busy. We still got fast, good service. Our waitress was Adriana and she gave excellent service. She was attentive and very friendly. She offered us a suggestion of the #9 which my husband got. He enjoyed it. The salsa was the perfect heat and had great flavor. I had a pineapple Aguas Fresca and my husband had a Mexico coke. The food was great! Only suggestion I would make is to make more room for heavier people in the booths or sit them at a table so they have room to sit.”

Flume

Address: 1829 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“Excellent local establishment! Super duper steaks. Love the salad bar. Loads of options. Add it to your meal for only $5.00. Great selections. Very fresh. The filet is bacon wrapped and soooo good. Wonderful atmosphere and decor. I am an Omnivore and husband is vegan. Hard to find places in the southwest that has options for him. This place is a winner!”

Five 7 Five Tacos

Address: 2101 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“I heard about how good this place is on the radio so I decided to check it out for myself and I was blown away by how great the food is. I even purchased a second plate to take to work for me later... The portions are amazing, the price was unbelievable, and the customer service was absolutely phenomenal. If you haven't tried this place, I suggest you do ASAP... Best taco truck in southeast NM and west TX in my opinion and working in the oil patch, I've been to them all.... I'll be coming back a lot for sure.”

Dragon China Buffet

Address: 2125 S Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“They have sushi but no fresh salmon for sashimi. Food is delicious but not various dishes. I don't like the food here so much so I won't come back. Everything is ok.”

Ocotillo Sports Bar and Grill

Address: 3706 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“They don't start serving food until 5:00. The bartender suggested another place to go. She was very helpful.”

Mariscos El Buchón

Address: Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“The seafood was fresh. The food was good. The salsa was incredibly spicy. It's the same salsa that's used in the ceviche, so be aware that it's going to be much hotter than your typical ceviche. The music was loud for a dine-in restaurant. The waitress was very soft-spoken and when asked to repeat anything because of the loud music, she refused to increase her own volume or come closer to be better understood.”

Guadalupe Mountain Brewing Co

Address: 3324 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“This place was pretty busy. Inside all the tables were taken but there was outside seating (side patio). They had a plexi-glass shielded patio area with fans (misters would have made a huge difference if they had any) for the out door seating. It was 100 degrees outside but in the outdoor seating area was bearable. We had 2 different types of pizza and the extreme the nachos. We took home the pretzel and a ham sub sandwich. All these items were amazing! The dough to the pizza was top notch. The cheese for the nachos and the pretzel was beer cheese! Remember ordering your items drinks were separate. Defiantly recommend just keep in mind it gets busy!”

La Patrona

Address: 3304 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

“My husband and I shared: - Steak Quesadilla - Chicharron en Verde Burrito - Barbacoa Torta - Carnitas Taco Plate My favorite thing was definitely the burrito. I also enjoyed the torta. I thought the tacos were a bit dry and the quesadilla was a bit plain, but it wasn't bad. They have picnic tables that you can eat at outside, but there is no indoor seating area. We took our food to go since it was kind of cold.”

Sotelo's Food and Clamatos

Address: 3129 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

Restaurant

Maria's Mexican Food

Address: 3105 National Parks Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220, USA

“It was an absolutely wonderful experience to find this place when arriving in town later at night. It was well lit up and Maria is very kind. She took her time to go over all of her offerings and even shared some of her story!”
