“My wife and I hired Lisa and her outstanding team to cater a family event. We were blown away by the quality of the food (we had lasagna, salad, and focaccia bread). They went above and beyond making sure our experience was five stars. I can’t recommend this company enough! Thank you!”

“I'm a health-conscious carnivore who loves this place! The family packs are top-notch, with superior meat quality. The manager is knowledgeable and fun to chat with, sharing details about the meat's source. Even though the cows eat some grain towards the end, the meat's still great. For those like me looking to maximize protein intake without breaking the bank, their bundles are perfect. You can get 60 pounds of meat for around $220, providing 2 pounds a day. Highly recommend the meat bundles. Although the store might seem sketchy, the employees are friendly and positive. Clean bathrooms and a wide selection of cooked goods are available. Personally, I'm a fan of their mac and cheese brisket. My only issue is that their cooked foods are a bit expensive, but the $6 once a week 1 lb for bacon is a win. One of my favorite stores, and I appreciate the hard work of all the employees and the manager. Keep it up! Edit: It's evident they care you can see a lot of replies to the reviews which can be rare in Southern Oregon. They even send a direct email to get in contact with if you had an issue so their can culture that out of the store. From what I can tell the leadership here is phenomenal and personal. The Employees usually always seem happy, and if they're not super enthusiastic, they don't look miserable, which most places do. I'm not sure if there's a medal for culture in workplaces but I feel like this place would win and even if there was news coverage of this business and how they treat their employees i know it'll be a grand run home of an positive story for the news station in this Valley.”

“If Maddie is your server get the lemon drop! She makes them and they are fantastic. She is so friendly and works hard to get your order correct. Table behind us has quite a few kids and adults w specific needs and she handled it quite professionally. Each order is made by one cook so it takes a bit. Lucky for us, water was filled, drinks were ordered do the wait wasn't so bad.”

“The chef, bartender, host, and everything front of house Michael was fantastic. His passion and expertise shows through. The behind the scenes crew were spot on. Everything was delicious and well executed. A++ If you are visiting the area, this is the place you are looking for. Locals already know, and from what I saw, are very much supporting such a great experience. Looking forward to our next visit! I almost forgot, they make doughnuts and they are amazing”

“There's not many food options at this side of the lake but even if you included Joseph, this is still one of the best food options in the area. The Thai food is fantastic; pad thai, pad kee mao, mango and sticky rice, and pork salad rolls were just as good as any Thai food cart in Portland and better than any restaurant we've eaten at around Wallowa Lake/Joseph which are pretty mediocre at best. The lady in the cart has no help so she's cleaning, prepping, taking orders, and boxing up all the food so service is pretty slow. But the food is worth it and very reasonable so make sure to tip her as she's a hard working lady!”

“Found this place and loved it. Owner gives free samples of anything you want. We tried caramel apple and zingers then walked away with a dozen. Good prices too. Would definitely recommend this place”

“The food was GOOD! I rarely get cheat days, so I'm always dying to eat something out of this world when I get one, and it has to have good beer on tap. This place delivered, we were visitng from Caldwell, ID that weekend. I had the Scooby Snack potatoe wedges and finished the rest off the next day & they were still just as good. Server was very fast & friendly, I was impressed with how well he handled a packed room all on his own as it got busy. Also, cute turtles. :)”

“We are visiting from Phoenix, AZ and had a great experience here. The live music (Calico Bones - sisters with amazing voices!) was wonderful. The drink menu was extensive. The food menu was small, but we split a caesar salad (plenty enough to share) and we both had the Western Burger and it was delicious. Not too big, not too small. Our waitress was witty and fun. We will definitely be back!”

“This place was unexpected for an eating spot. 90% of indoors is dedicated to items to buy for your pet (mostly dog stuff, naturally, but some things for cats also). Lots of wall decor centered on dogs. The menu is very niche...lots of fermented items, several meatless options, and definitely not your average run of the the mill menu selection. Bahn mi with tofu for example. Vegan mac and cheese, which my daughter ordered...was very tangy. We ordered a bread appetizer that came with fermented dips...my fav was a creamy dip made from beets. There was also chimmichurri and a tapenade. All 3 fermented, so had a vinegary flavor. I had shrimp tacos which were good...so full i had to eat some shrimp with my fork before trying to pick up and hold the tacos because it didn't all fit...not a bad problem to have! Bf had the morels and gnocchi. Generous servings. One thing i would say about the mac n cheese is that some of the noodles were dried out/crunchy and maybe could have spent less time under the broiler. Maybe a torch to brown the top would be better so the noodles don't dry out. There were maybe 3 small tables inside and 2 tables outside so not a great spot for large groups or when it is busy. This is a good place if you like fermented or vegan foods. Not great if you are looking for mainstream american food i.e. a cheeseburger or other "basic" foods. If you are looking for something different, this is the spot. One server lady working and she was friendly. She does this weird laugh after everything she says which made conversation a bit awkward but not really a complaint. Not overly attentive. I think the food came and then we did not see her at the table again, which was fine for us as we did not need anything extra.”

“This little locals only hang out is the place to go for food!! I was honestly suprised with how affordable it was for the quality!! I was rather famished so when the food arrived I forgot to take a picture 📸 But it was quite tasty!! Highly recommend this place & they have a drive thru!! Bonus 🎉”

“These ladies where awesome. The place was packed and they were flying around making sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner! I saw one couple walk up and see the seating was full and return 30 minutes later( that tells you how good it is). I walked by during lunch just as busy. It tells you something when people wait or come back. If you go by stop in and eat drink and be Merry!! Saw a table of 4 order 3 pizzas and devour them!! This place is Great! Thanks Ladies for a great time and great food and beer!!!”

“My grandma took me up there the day after chief Joseph days and let me tell you these people had been there since 330 in the morning because all there food is homemade. Our server Natasha got us seated and our order taken fast and with a genuine smile and the most positive additive. Earlier there was a 2 hr wait for food so let me tell you these guys were tired but happy as ever. We came close to closing after the rush had slowed down and out food was out in a timely manner and it was amazing! Reasonably pricing love it and will very much be going again.”

“Delicious! The lattes were some of the best, exactly what we wanted and served in mugs even at 16oz which was a big plus for us. The full order of the Jacked Up Corn Cakes was impressive, unique, and very tasty. We were a bit disappointed by the breakfast burrito with flair since it was visually just less enticing than the corn cakes and could have a bit more flavor. Really welcoming, open atmosphere with great staff and service. Would come here again.”

“Best lengua tacos ever! Locally-sourced beef tongue, tenderly cooked and shredded and perfectly seasoned. Lots of lime juice, a splash of La Laguna’s house-made sauces…perfecto. Will be back!”

“So glad this taco shop moved in!! I had the 5 street tacos al pastor which were delicious and well priced. Service was quick, especially considering it seemed like there was only one person in the kitchen. Be sure you get some salsas with your tacos though, the tacos could end up a little on the dry side without it.”

“I love this drive through especially when I'm craving something and don't know what to get, the people who work there are always friendly professional and always give me a suggestion when I don't have a clue what I want and always end up liking what they suggest and it's always nice that they let you know what they're serving you. I love the fact that they have a seating area outside especially when it's spring and summertime evenings and can enjoy their refreshing drinks and many more I would've posted my agua fresca(natural fruit water) but it was so good I drank it before I took the pictures overall love the atmosphere”

“Bestow is one of my favorite places in all of Ashland, without it I’m not sure where I’d be in my plant journey!!! They carry so many varieties and beautiful pottery ($-$$) cute gifts, plant accessories and cards, I believe I’ve seen gift wrap before (?) but if you need a gift, this is the place to go, and I’m pretty positive all of my plants are either from bestow or from their plant swapping event they do yearly (twice I believe?). Highly recommend. And just a warning, you will feel like you are part of a secret club the second you “join”, it’s a great support system for you AND ur plants! Oh, and they have pet yellow birds in the shop!? It’s just magical, highly suggest and I also forgot to add they sell ciders wine etc sometimes (not sure if that’s 24/7) but it’s just such a cool clubhouse. 10/10 bring ur friends.”

“Stopped here for a quick bathroom break and some snacks and a couple of ice cold drinks. They're set up well for social distancing and still being able to serve the public. We only had snacks and not a full meal but the prices were super reasonable and I totally would have ordered a burger if I was hungry enough it looked really really good. They were really friendly and letting my kids run around like crazy get some Penny energy out.”

“This is the greatest store ever! Good food, awesome Mexican Coffee that is unfortunately usually empty by the time I get to it and now there is a bar that is super chill! This is the spot to hit before you head off into the canyons, or if you just came out of the canyons and need to cool off. Love this place.”
