“Great vegetarian options, definitely one of my favorite cafés in Richmond. I love the Veggie Panini, the Hummus sandwich, and the Funny Honey is super tasty as well. Food usually takes about 20 mins, even longer on a busy day, so be prepared to wait or order ahead. The staff is nice & the coffee’s good, only thing that’s lacking is the ambiance in the cafe- definitely not my favorite place to sit and work all day, but the outdoor spaces in front and back are great on a nice day and the food always delivers. see u soon lift!”

“Really love MarieBette Cafe (both locations)! Everything I’ve had from there has been great - breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and coffees/teas/hot chocolates. Finally getting around to reviewing them after ordering a cake a couple of weeks ago. It 100% met my wishes! I asked for the lemon cake with pink or white peonies and white lily of the valley flowers (to represent May), and I was amazed when I saw the cake! It was spot on for what I wanted in looks and taste!”

“We had a Colada Shop location closer to our home that we frequented until its closure a few years ago. We miss having it around but the next best thing is to travel to Mosaic for our Cuban cuisine fix. You can't really go wrong with anything on their menu, but I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the pork was tender and flavorful. It's a filling meal in itself, but order it with the plantain chips and you're in for a real treat. We also love their guava and cheese pastelitos and coffee drinks. Service is top notch, even though it's quick service, our server brought our order out to our table despite the lunch rush. Its location is adjacent to Bloomie's with direct access to the store inside. Parking is at the multiple parking garages in the area, so expect a short 5 minute walk. Can't wait to visit again!”

“Went for breakfast but they only had bagels and some other baked items. They are still pretty new and are working on more breakfast items. I opted for a sandwich instead. The staff was very engaging and helpful. I ordered a sourdough, ham, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and onions sandwich with pesto sauce. It was delicious and the portion was very generous. I had a latte too. My second time here and I was just as pleased as the first time. 8.11.2022 update. Stopped by for lunch and the Simmon sandwich. Roast beef, onion, lettuce, cheddar, and horseradish sauce on sourdough. Very good and large. They had a pretty good flow of customers which is a good sign.”

“There is this sweet woman who works third shift in the food station. She has cute braids and wears a really pretty lip gloss. I found out my auntie died the night before and was on the verge of a mental breakdown, I could barely walk in that store, without breaking down. She greeted me with a warm smile and made the best French fries. She ALWAYS makes ALL the food fresh but this time, she really cheered me up and made me not want to break down crying in the parking lot, like I was about to do. Thank you for always being so kind to me. You really made my terrible night, ten times better. Just for showing me kindness and always being so kind. I know I have terrible anxiety and can barely talk to people without stuttering or my hands shaking but she never causes me to have anxiety. “What can I say they are on a learning curve. So far drinks are done right but the actual physical location should have been better thought out. Not the staffs problem. Can't wait to see the mess when the other 3 shops open next door. Some staff are great and some are struggling to keep up, to be expected on new staff in a new store. Restrooms need attention from staff. Soap dispensor was empty so you had to grab a large refill and turn it over to get soap on your hands and then wash them. How many customers and staff are really washing after using the Restrooms. Management needs to step up their game a little and guide them.”
