“The food was really good - memorable. The problem were the service was OK and the portions were quite small. The lobster roll was great, but it was teeny for $25. That was not as big a deal as the mushroom roll, which was also tasty, but there was hardly any mushrooms. I know mushrooms are much cheaper than lobster, so I don’t know what’s up there. It was $1 more to add fries instead of chips, which was strange. The view is amazing and almost worth whatever you pay in food. I really liked the 80s/90s theme! Not kid friendly but they can be there. This place should be about a 4.3.”

“Damee in Buena Park is my new go-to spot for authentic Korean dishes in Orange County. I had the 은대구 조림 (braised black cod), and it was phenomenal—the best I've ever tried in OC. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the fish was cooked to perfection. I haven't found another place that can prepare it this well. My friend tried the 육계장 (spicy beef soup) and 파전 (green onion pancake), and both dishes were also outstanding. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Korean cuisine in OC, Damee is the place to go.”

“Today was the second day of their Grand Opening and luckily for me, I kinda woke up early and got there at 9:35 am. The cafe opened at ten am and we were able to order our food at noon. Half an hour later, we had our food. I spent way more than I expected (for two, $130). The staff was really great. While in line, they kept us entertained, hand out stickers, did some jokes, hand out some other stuff for those who had answered some questions correctly. Once inside, Amy, one of the workers, was really sweet. She made sure that I got a clean merchandise because I didn't know I grabbed a displayed plush toy. The cashier remembered my name (only because I kept on buying stuff). Despite having a long line and having to wait, I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place than the Hello Kitty Cafe in Irvine, CA.”

“My husband and I were so happy to have found this restaurant! The food was really tasty! We had the fried tofu rice with a poached egg on top (the egg is crazy and almost too authentic. I mean, it is not, but the texture, the taste, and the runny “yoke” are spot on!) and we had the beef and broccoli. Both dishes were beautifully served and really yummy! I so appreciate that they also have metal folks and chopsticks and actual soup spoons, rather than just to-go silverware. The service was fantastic, super fast and very friendly. The dining room has a really nice and fun atmosphere as well. We will most definitely be back to try more items!”

“I was hungry so I wanted a quick bite. Came to DTBP and always seen this place, finally decided to try it out. I had the torta de milanesa and I was not disappointed. The bread was nice a toasty, albeit it did crumble easily. The milanesa was nice and crunchy, never had it like that before. Just enough condiments, but nothing overpowered the meat. The only down side was that it didn't include chips on the side, those were extra. I also tried the aguas frescas de jamaica and piña, both were good.”

“The place could have easily taken a five stars from me but there were some small problems that I wanna share over here. In total the foods were really good, eyes catching presentation and well seasoned. The portion was also big and the price was kinda reasonable and affordable. I read some comments that complained about the price is too expensive. However, please get used to it, the economy is not the same anymore. The first problem we had is that they are selling Gelato with many flavors but somehow they not allow you to have a sample??? I meant c'mon people, giving the customer one tiny piece of sample doesn't kill anyone. It will also help you to sell more flavor. The second problem was customer service. It looks like because they are new restaurant so they don't have enough worker. I can see one employee doing everything and he wasn't really friendly at all. No matter how good your foods are; if you don't treat your customers well, no one want to return. Overall it was a great place to eat out and enjoy some good foods. Will be back here soon and hope they improve the customer service.”

“Newish spot next to HMart that sells Korean fried chicken. Compared to some other Korean Fried Chicken places I've tried, the wings here definitely stands out! The meat is tender and comes right off the bone cleanly and you can see the juices flowing out when you bite in. It's kind of amazing how juicy it is. It is a bit of a wait, but I was given some coleslaw and pickled radish when I dined in. Each table has wet wipes to clean your hands after and a metal bin to discard bones.”

“The BEST chicken Gà nướng lu in town! The chicken is very moist which was seasoned with lemongrass and all secret sauces that made it so good to use your fingers and dig in. We ate the chicken with sticky rice. Oh my god, this is the BEST XÔI I 've had in the long time. It has the hince of coconut and sweet after tast. The only problem is so little of sticky rice. That's we have to order to extras. We also ordered the yellow rice. It was cooked with the chicken stock and has right amount of seasoning. Drink: we had cafe muối which is a bomb for a coffee holic like me. And the owner offered us a mango slushy which also very refreshing. This restaurant is having soft opening now but they gave us all the best they can offer. The service is on point, very friendly and has family business vibe. Will definitely come back to try their Phở and Bột chiên.”

“Came here for the first time and tried the mazesoba and really enjoyed it! The noodles were chewy, toppings were pretty good and the sauce was delicious! The poached soft egg on top was mixed into the noodles and I ordered spicy red sauce because I like my noodles spicy! We also ordered couple appetizers and enjoyed the fried squid. Tofu had a mild flavor but wasn’t anything too special. The bao buns were tasty and paired well with lychee and peach teas. I strongly recommend getting their flavored teas. The Shoyu ramen noodles had a good texture and my friend ate this with an extra side of fried burdock. I tried the broth and it was made well. The owners are super friendly and really care about their business. The price point at this restaurant is very fair, considering we are going through a huge inflation. This is an amazing small business in the heart of Garden Grove!”
