“This place is amazing. I have always eaten fast or quick food so I was hesitant trying to eat “healthy” but wow was I surprised how great all the food is… It has been open about 2 weeks and I have been 6 times and EVERY meal has been spot on. I have tried wraps, smoothies and açaí bowls and enjoyed them all.!!!! 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for sure!”

“Great experience for a late-ish weekday lunch today! I came in with my parents and my best friend, and everyone found something we loved pretty easily. Street parking is a bit difficult, but it was easy enough to find a table once we were in the restaurant. The guys behind the table were super friendly and walked us through the fare easily when we looked confused and said we were new. Between us, we had a smattering of food allergies and intolerances, as well as one of us having diabetes. The diabetic got the quinoa base, but I also feel convinced that the nice folks behind the counter would've been accommodating if we'd asked to swap out the base and get an extra side instead. They really seem willing to work with you. They are also incredibly up front about the allergens in different items, with a printout on the wall by the counter that explains which allergens are present in which dishes. More info on these down below! 👇🏼 The brussel sprouts were a big hit. They're not the lame steamed kind that are just boring baby cabbages - they are more braised/charred/roasted, where you really get the tasty flavor and the crispiness. I also adored the macaroni and cheese. The biscuit was pretty good and was a nice touch, but isn't what would keep me coming back. Bathrooms were clean and easy to find. Tables were laid out well and kept clean also. To my Athens followers - this is essentially a little more southern version of the beloved Maepole. Over all, I'd be back again and again. I don't live in Milledgeville anymore, but I'll certainly be back when visiting. I even have a hope that my Celiac husband can actually eat here because of the gluten-free options, but I'll report back when I know more.”

“This place just opened up last Friday so I had to come check it out. They are located where the old Metropolis restaurant used to be so it was a familiar atmosphere to me. Staff was very friendly when I walked in the door and I met the owner of the place, Sammy. Very down to earth and chill guy who is super excited to have his own business. He gave me a quick tour around the place before I grabbed a booth seat to get some lunch. Server came over, handed me a menu, asked if I had any questions, and took my drink order. He was very friendly and attentive the entire time I was there. Started with poutine and the charcuterie board. Poutine fries were super crispy and hot with just the right amount of seasoning. The gravy was a little too thick for my personal preference but not bad. Cheese curds were piping hot and delicious though. I ate the whole thing! Charcuterie board was a standard thing: crackers, 3 kinds of cheese cubes (pepper jack, sharp cheddar, and a mild white cheddar that had a little sweetness to it), Genoa salami, soppressata salami, and some kind of capicola ham. Not too fancy but a great variety to pair well with a glass of wine. Bahn mi was my favorite thing of the day. The pork had a really good texture of both crispy edges but tender on the inside. It really worked with the fresh crunchy vegetables. The bread itself had a nice sturdy crust on it but had that pillow-like bounce back when you pressed down on it. Soft but firm enough to keep your sandwich together. Friend chicken sandwich was a sleeper hit too. The tenders were hand breaded and the ratio of breading to meat was great. What caught me by surprise were the roasted peaches. I was skeptical on how they would work but they had the right amount of sweetness with a hint of smoky flavor too. Grabbed a slice of key lime pie to take home for the wifey. They asked if I wanted whipped cream but I declined. She said it was pretty good. I personally like a thicker crust on my pies but to each their own. This place is still brand new so I would expect some menu changes to be happening. They also do not have their liquor license yet but are working on it. Also the sandwiches don't come with a side but with their prices so low you're pretty much paying the same price at any other restaurant for a sandwich and side. I'm looking forward to seeing this place grow and the menu to be tweaked to perfection”

“Being my first time there, Dee and the beautiful staff ar Rise Up cafe are the best when it comes to service and quality of food. The space is clean and well organized. I ordered the biscuits with bacon, everything was fresh, and is a true testament on the focus Rise Up Cafe has regarding locally produce ingredients. Can't wait to try another delicious dish from Rise Up Cafe,”

“First off! Please disregard the one star reviews as they obviously have nothing to do with the food!!! One dum-az doesn’t check their order before they leave and the other doesn’t even know what Birria is! (You didn’t get to choose the meat because it’s Goat genius!:) You don’t choose the meat on Birria!!! I have no affiliation nor do I know the proprietor of this business. All I know is that the food is amazing, which is why most of Snellville is there every night. I travel the country and can tell you that this taco truck is LEGIT! This is definitely “you wanna go night-night!” food!”

“Tried this new place out today. It’s new and it’s at the back in the corner so you have to be looking for it. We wanted a place that wasn’t crowded. It’s more than just a wings place. I ordered a Philly chicken 🐓 wrap 🌯 while my friends had a Philly cheesesteak 🥖 and a double cheeseburger 🍔. The food was very tasty… made fresh when we ordered. It’s worth trying out and would be good if you are in a hurry or don’t want the crowd.”

“Nice restaurant with very good customer service and a decent variety of food. Although the food was flavorful, it was barely warm. I tried several options but none of them were close to being hot or very warm. The little robot that comes around to collet dishes was very annoying as it came around too often and interrupted our table trying to eat and converse. There is one standard price, completely self-serve including drinks and desserts.”

“I’ve passed this place a few times since they’ve been Chicago pizza and wanted to stop by. I finally decided to give them a try last Saturday… like drove from McDonough GA. just to patronize. The host, lady taking the cover charge, and security were very pleasant. We sat on the outside patio since there wasn’t any other available seating. We got there around 8:30pm. $10 cover charge which wasn’t a big deal. The waitress that was servicing the outside patio area was my problem. She is definitely in the wrong field and I hope she no longer works there when I return. She came out there at least four times and we gave each other eye contact the last time she came out but she never came over to assist us, take a drink order, bring a menu, or greet us. Smh Thankfully, management (Seven) came over and asked, “how was everything going”. He took over from there and he was amazing and made the experience 1000 times better. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and provided great service and recommendations. Towards the end of our visit another manager (Al) did a walk through and he didn’t disappoint. The food and drink choice was great. Overall it was a really good experience, I will return (earlier), and would recommend.”

“Ms Pats Soul Food in Stone Mountain was everything that I was looking for! I indulged in the Fish and Shrimp Entree, complete with fried cabbage, collard greens, and cornbread. The flavors were so exceptional that I devoured everything on my plate – a testament to the outstanding quality of the meal. This spot is a must-visit for those seeking a truly delightful soul food experience. I literally ate everything except the plate!”

“I ordered takeout lunch steak & shrimp (L8) then paid $1.50 to sub in lo mein rather than fried/white rice. My bill was $14.79. I decided to check this restaurant out because it’s new and we have so few decent places to eat at in this area. I decided to go in to see how things looked before ordering. The health score is currently 100% and everything appeared clean inside. They have a couple televisions showing the news with very low volume and no music, so it’s a quiet place if you want to come in to decompress while you eat. The staff was nice and overall the food was good. The portions were large and everything was cooked to order. I would suggest you give them a try,”

“I've been here twice and I will be coming back to try everything on the menu. The spot is well decorated and the name truly fits the decor. The service was great and the food was even better. A few suggestions are the oxtail, the fried goat and the griot are all great. The white rice and the bean sauce is amazing.”

“Ordered a large meatlover taste ok. Glad we got another alternative to Lil Caesars in the hood. The ladies were sweethearts here, customer service was great. Only downside would be I didn't know they had pizza here thought it was a fish and wings spot, if you go by the signs.”

“Absolutely delicious and wonderful experience. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered, even the 3 picky kids. I got the tzatziki lemon artichoke half & half with shrimp and it was delicious and just the perfect amount of food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered quickly and food arrived very soon after. 10/10 and will absolutely be eating here again.”
