Good points : the chicken and fries are crispy (although the bottom pieces did get a bit softer due to all the moisture in the to go container). The batter is seasoned well. The slaw is very good Downsides : the chicken had the stringy connective tissue in almost every piece I ate. The toast was soft, including on the toasted side (just 1 side?). Fries were over salted For a quick meal, i liked it and would eat it again.”

“Over priced for the game card, you get 100 chips for $20. Pretty much all the games required over 7 chips per swipe. When we asked to be seated, they told us 30 minutes which turned to 50 as they only had 3 servers. Beer prices were $10 per glass. Food: they don't understand Flat Bread, it looked more like unbaked pizza dough with lots of cheese, Brussel Sprouts were un-cooked, 4 of our other items were not brought out due to short staff, and the mgr came by and apologized. The only good thing was the place doesn't smell like weed or Marijuana (which is what Main Event in Hoffman has turned into).”

“Compared to the Tokyo Lunch Boxes and What A Dumpling, I would say this location of SGD Tofu and Bbq restaurant has great value. You get that tofu stew, a bowl of white rice, an egg to put in the tofu stew, and the 3 banchan dishes. Food quality was above par. Service was very friendly and fast. Since it’s in a food court, they have plenty of seating. Prices were fair and inexpensive.”

“Free parking, a clean bathroom, and nice staff. The food was good but a bit salty and too much gooey sauce and not enough food. The jasmine rice was sticky and not fluffy and clumped together. The lard na was barely much food, the crab salad was strange with a tiny black crab broke in half but we didn’t know how to eat it so I guess it was just for garnish? The fried tofu had a lot of batter. The seasoning was good for the tofu because it was sweet-and-sour. And we tried to order snapper but they ran out so we had fried tilapia with a thick and sweet sauce which I didn’t know was exactly Thai. Nice atmosphere to hang out with friends and family, but I wasn’t happy with the food. I would say the desserts here are good so if I come back here, it would only be for the dessert. And I liked the vegetable dish.”

“This is a late post but made reservations for one of their large rooms on the Friday before Christmas. Visited a month in advance and then again a week or so before to ensure that our reservation was kept. Wasn't convinced that our reservation was going to be kept but it was nice to do those visits to hangout, and the reservation turned out ok. Had a group of 15 people or so in the large room for 2-hours. Ordered a bunch of buckets of beer and bottles of soju, as well as an order of their fried chicken (pictured here) with their sauce on the side (which was excellent with a nice kick of heat/spiciness). Total of the night was roughly around $600. Wouldn't mind visiting again although you need a small/large group for a room. Not sure if they allow karaoke in the common area if there aren't a lot of occupied rooms.”

I rated the service a three based on my having to wait around a few mins to actually receive service after exclaiming a "hello," and then tapping on the window. She was def nice though. I ordered the jerk chicken alfredo for a price point of $15. Great presentation. Creamy. Pasta well cooked. A tad bit too salty, and tasted more like Tony's Creole seasoning than jerk. “Taste wise, their stuff is good, that is why the three star rating. Store is neat and clean. Unfortunately, they cheated. I ordered 30 big samosas for pickup, they had them ready when I went there. Next day, I open the pack and to my surprise, these are small samosas. I called them, and they said that the owner said that she will ask the kitchen staff. They said that they were aware of the fact that a few big samosas were sold and as a result, they put in small samosas (which they supposedly doubled). This is far from correct, all 30 samosas were small, plus, they never bothered to tell me about the swap (which didn't happen) and spoiled my planning. To top it all, the kitchen staff who talked to me was rude.”

“Visited this restaurant on Friday. This is my new favorite place to eat! There are so many great choices to fill any appetite, and not kidding, fill you they do! I had the philly beef , so tasty, and my companions were pleasantly surprised by the quantity , and quality of the breaded pork tenderloin dinner! Plates are full, loaded to the hilt with meat! All of their food is made from scratch, the owner informed us. Such a friendly staff, waitresses are quick and happy to be there, most of all made us feel welcome and looking forward to coming back again and again.
