“I ordered from DoorDash. My son loved his burger and fries. The onion rings were kind of cold when I got them but they were cooked well so they will probably taste better if you eat in. They don’t come with dipping sauce that is extra. The crawfish egg rolls are delicious!! They are very rich and cheese and stuffed full of crawfish. They definitely don’t skimp on them. I’m going to go in and eat soon because it’s seems like it will taste even better when you get it fresh. Definitely recommend.”

“The most authentic Vietnamese food in all of Baton Rouge. Hole-in-the-wall. The best and most authentic Bun Bo Hue I've had in my entire life, and I'm Vietnamese so that should say a lot! “It was my first time eating at The Outside Boys Food Trap. The place was very busy, and I was planning on ordering 3 stuffed turkey legs to go, but unfortunately, they ran out before it was my turn to order. I ordered 1 stuffed with shrimp fettuccine and 2 stuffed with crawfish etouffee. So, I asked how long it would be before more turkey was ready, and I was told about 1 hour and a half. I asked if it would be okay if I waited, and I was told yes, of course you can. The owners, James and Shawn, and their staff all treated me like a part of the family while I waited. I finally got my orders, and whenever I got home, my friends and I tore into those delicious stuffed turkey legs. They were so delicious, and it was definitely worth me waiting on them. I definitely will be going back again.”

“While searching for a new place to eat at, I found this amazing little place that serves food from Guatemala. The lady running the place was super friendly and helped me by recommending some of their specialties. I tried the Rellenitos Y Atoles, Chuchitos, Tamales De Chipilin. All were amazing and filling. I tried a sweet pastry item that I forgot the name of and also got a refreshing drink called Jarritos Guava. I highly recommend others try this place, especially if you like to experience new things.”

“I wandered into this place starving after a crueling 4 1/2 hours of work. I've been wondering what to eat and I realized that the new location of jersey mike's was across the street. I walked over there curious of how this location would be like (I tried the one on the johnston already). I walked in and the atmosphere was glorious. One of the people at the counter welcomed me, he was a cool and chill guy. I place order, the usual a big kahuna no mushrooms, with a pepsi, chipotle mayo, and potato chips. I patiently waited for them to make my food then it happen. They came out with my sandwich, little did I know greatness was stepping towards me. When I unwrapped paper on the sandwich my eyes were blessed with an excellent view of the cheese pulling of the paper. I cried in that moment realizing I was looking upon a sandwich kissed by heavens. I went in for the first bite, and I that was entered my own realm where it was just me and the sandwich. This exceeded my expectations despite me already having this sandwich before. Then I dipped into the chipotle mayo, and I took a bite, it was like I just ascended to be one with the gods. Words can't describe how that sandwich effected me. Once I finished the sandwich I got up and returned work. And I was very satisfied.”

The onion ring batter was a little soft , the gumbo was great and the Cajun tuna aoili was a nice combination.. There was a nice vinaigrette over the arugula w / cucumbers pieces . I had the no turf and surf. The tuna was a little overcooks but the crab on top was delightful. The crawfish Mac and cheese was a treat for the taste buds. “So my review is strictly based off my DoorDash order. I ordered the catfish strips and after few chicken strips along with a root beer. My DoorDash order came extremely fast and my food was still very hot. The fish was extremely good and did not taste fishy at all. I really enjoyed the fish and would order again. The chicken strips were average and nothing really special about these. The order came with fries and hushpuppies as well. I didn't eat the fries because they were soggy but I think all delivered fries are. (Not their fault) Now the hushpuppies were really good. I'm an extremely picky eater and love finding hushpuppies that don't have onions in the breading. These were strictly breading and corn which have it a nice sweet adder. Then washed it down with a Barqs root beer that was in a bottle. I would recommend this place and will order again next time I'm in town.”

“Amended--- Sam made good on her word and we were able to come back and enjoy a savory meal. They remembered why we were there and staff was excellent. I think that I was so peeved initially because I have NEVER visited Krab Queenz and received subpar service. We arrived prior to 6 p.m. and did not receive our food order until 7:44 p.m. The food was bland. They just dumped a handful of parsley on top. The service was poor, and I do not think I will frequent it here at all. There were three of us, and one was an older veteran. No discount was given to her, and the drinks were sub-par. We had to ask for drinks to be remade. We used to frequent the previous location near LSU, and it was MUCH better. We were looking forward to having a similar experience where the food, service, and drinks were awesome. We had to ask other servers to remind ours to visit us. We spoke to two managers in order to get some type of resolution. They offered us beignets... hell no! Sam offered us to come back for another time, finally. After that, I'll be done with them.”

There was incredible live music and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and even poured my martini (which was amazing!) tableside. “Wow... talk about a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was a really good experience for me just getting off a long flight. During the time of travel, I was here on a Thursday afternoon and not really a lot of people. If you're a whiskey drinker, they have a nice selection of whiskey, which I was decently impressed. At least they had my favorites: Blanton, Monkey Shoulder, Basil Hayden, Knobb Creek, etc. The hotel itself is nice, relaxing, clean... everything you could ask for. Bartender was very attentive to my needs and prices were.... well, take a look at the menu. Not too shabby. Also, very close to some shopping and restaurants if you don't want to pay the hotel bar charges.”
