“Don't be put off by the atmosphere. This is a brand new restaurant in a small struggling town. The interior is rustic but clean. But the food is excellent, as good as any I've ever had, and the owner waits on you and is friendly . He added little extras , threw in this and that for us. And the prices are reasonable. And it's only a one minute drive off the Canyonville exit of I-5. Our friends live near here and raved about the place , now so do we!”

“We have been so impressed by our experience at the Lindsay Lodge and Restaurant. They have a beautiful location on the river and everything we have tried has been amazing! Their food is delicious- the Bavette, Bucatini, New York, Linguini - all amazing. They also have a skilled bartender who makes good cocktails and they have a great local wine selection. It can be difficult to find a restaurant with good food AND good drinks for date night so we are happy we found the Lindsay Lodge. This place is definitely worth the short drive out of town.”

“I'm from Reno and this past Friday I drove to Boise, Idaho. En route, I was told by a friend to stop by Rome Station for a milkshake and glad I did. If you blink though, you'll fly right past it. There's 3 different flavors: huckleberry, vanilla, and chocolate. Of course, I went with the more uncommon flavor of huckleberry as for traveling I thought chocolate would be too heavy and vanilla too plain. Huckleberry as is, has a subtle flavor to me and this hand spun shake was exactly that and perfect for the rest of my drive.”

“I REALLY hate to leave 3 stars here but they deserve complete honesty. I've been trying everything off the breakfast menu so far and the food has no flavor. We've done the muffin and scones and I don't know what it is but no one in my family can eat one bite. I wonder if they're not using sugar. The coffee is good if you ask for extra shots. I tried the red velvet frappe and didn't taste much of anything. I really love the customer service and I like that they spend their time making it a great experience but I'd love for their products to taste better. One thing I thoroughly enjoyed was the breakfast biscuit today and I had a iced latte with 4 shots and 2 syrup flavors and it was just right. Next is to try lunch menu items and maybe that will bring my rating up. But for now, it's average.”

“It's just a place to crash at night. Not really kept up that well. But there was a shower with hot water, a modern toilet that worked and coffee maker in the hallway. Upstairs there are three rooms that all share the bathroom. The sink is sort of in the hall and door to shower and door to toilet are both private. It worked. The bed I slept in is old. Needs replacement. Springs are pretty toast. That is my only complaint. It must be at least 15 years old estimated. Falls down on one side. Otherwise it's old and better than sleeping outside in the cold. Pic was from the river down the way.”

“What a great little coffee shop. We stopped in here on our way to Las Vegas. It has handmade gifts and cozy seating. She made us coffee and it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a long time. Delicious! So on the way back home we stopped in again. This time I had a ham and cheese sandwich on a croissant and a coffee. Oh my was it good! Great service! Great food! Great coffee! I wish it was closer.”
