“The chicken was very tender and juicy and the bbq beans were some of the best beans I’ve had in a long time. The macaroni and cheese was a little bland to me - but the beans made up for them. The baked potato salad is something I’ll definitely order for a side next time so it was nice they gave me a little bit to try and the bbq sauce I didn’t even use it but I did try it and it’s good too.. I’ll use it on something I make at home. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their food. It’s inside a gas station that looks kind of sketchy but I judged that all wrong! I look forward to trying more of their food.”

“If you prefer smoothies that are fluffy instead of gritty and icey then this is the place for you. These smoothies do not melt within a few minutes and get that nasty watery layer on top like other brands, they are flavorful and buttery. Also the ingredients are great and still taste delicious, fruity, and sweet without having enough sugar to put you into a coma like smoothie king. Don't worry, it's not one of those places that put kale in everything. I couldn't drink mine fast enough, it was so good that I immediately wanted another one. Worth the price. Also the employees I've met so far as so friendly and chill, it doesn't feel like you're inconveniencing them just by ordering. Good vibes, has a nice bar sitting area where you could work on your laptop or read if you want to. I haven't tried the food yet but the options sound really interesting and good so I'll order soon for sure. In my opinion this is the best smoothie place in Knoxville now.”

“Authentic Punjabi food is here in Knoxville. The family works extremely hard to bring the taste of India's bread basket "Punjab" to Knoxville. You can trust it to be some of the best food if you're ordering Saag like we do. Masala Chaas was also very delicious. The owners themselves take care of the food and service and go above and beyond to serve their customers. THANK YOU for some great food. Very lovely people and food. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Service was friendly and fast. Our waiter took great care of us .the food had great variety and was delicious. Champagne Chicken was perfection juicy and tender with the sauce creamy. Sushi had lots of choices and was scrumptious. Everything we had was seasoned but not too much. Cause you can always add buy can't take away. Definitely looking forward to going again. It was a great special occasion. The bathroom was clean and beautiful.”

“Well worth getting up early to get to Grand Opening today. Had never had their chicken sandwich before. I choose mild and it was very good. The coleslaw goes really well with the chicken. Loved the waffle fries too. The only thing I was sad about was they didn’t have any gluten free chicken so my husband (who can’t have anything with gluten in it) had to make do with the salad, but they had to take the chicken off. They told us gluten free was coming in the near future. Looking forward to when the will have a gluten free option for the chicken.”

“Our group of 4 stopped by for a late breakfast. The waitress was very nice and professional. Our four breakfasts were well-above average and our eggs were cooked exactly as we asked. The thick-cut toast was a nice touch. The SPOT was very clean. We all said we would return to grab a bite to eat when we're in the area. Why go anywhere else?”

“The food was awesome. I ordered the chicken potato. It was the best potato I ever had. The cheese was melted perfectly with broccoli and tomatoes. The broccoli was 🔥. Mae Lou's Cafe was awesome. I most definitely will be back!!!”

“Had high hopes with reviews… took one bite of my buffalo chicken pizza and it was smothered in onion. Nowhere on menu does it say there are any onions on this pizza. Unfortunately got to go on our way back to Memphis and wasn’t worth it to turn around. Very disappointed, as it looked amazing. Are some of my husband’s wings instead. Flavor was good on those, but wish they were a little more done/crisp. Very tender… not my thing. Son loved his cheese pizza.”

“Fantastic food. I wake up thinking about getting the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwhich with a side of sausage gravy on top. The homemade buttermilk biscuits really make it too.mmmm. Pro tip. Try adding hot sauce and jam too for something that hits all the taste buds”

“We met a friend here on our way back from the midwest. This was our halfway point. The kitchen closed before we arrived, but the staff let my friend order before it closed so we could have a meal ready for us upon arrival. The staff was super friendly and made meal suggestions. The food was delicious!!! As were the drinks. The staff was so nice and accommodated all our needs. We tried appetizers, main dishes, and dessert as well. I wanted my belly to expand just so I could eat more. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Will come here again when passing through Nashville!!!”

“HELL YES, this place is freakin' awesome. I'd love to be eloquent about it, but my excitement overrides everything. I haven't had a proper Italian sub since going vegan over a decade ago... until now. So bomb. The milkshakes was super delicious and—from what I can remember—indistinguishable from non-vegan shakes. We also split an amazing Caesar salad; love the choice to use tofu for the protein as it's the best and usually is pushed aside in favor of more processed options. Lots to be said about ACCESSIBILITY as well, I very much appreciate the relatively low prices, familiar choices on the menu and straightforward descriptions. Thanks for being a great vegan option!! Rock on.”

“Reasonably priced, awesome food, great service and a fun atmosphere made this place the perfect spot to stop and refuel after running the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. My niece, a student at Belmont, recommended this spot saying it is one of her favorite restaurants in Nashville. Rightfully so. I found the Fried Avocado taco to be excellent. I couldn't fathom how they could fry an avocado, but they found a way to make the outside delightfully crispy and the inside soft but not mushy. The Pulled Pork was very tender and juicy, and the Spicy Carne Molida was tasty and not overly spicy. What I really enjoyed was the Elote. The corn was perfectly grilled, and the cheese and spices added a subtle but notable flavor. There are three different sections where you can eat inside, but we enjoyed the outdoor patio which was spacious and decorative. If you're visiting Nashville, take the time to venture outside downtown and check this place out. It's worth the visit!”

“Been looking for a good Mexican place to eat and it was here this whole time. Best food I have ever eaten and so authentic. Would highly recommend this place.”
