“This is not a 1 star only because the employees were doing their best. Not their blame. Ordered online. Told me to be there in a half hour. Got there and it was chaos. Bunch of people whose sandwiches were not done as scheduled were in the small waiting area. One of my 3 sandwiches was ready. The only one ordered hot. The other two took just over 20 minutes to get out. In that time, people were coming in, ordering there and leaving with their sandwiches. Their system just doesn’t work if they are busy. The sandwich was ok. If you get take-out, send somebody else to get it.”

“Wow! By chance we were able to catch a concert here on a rainy fall evening during a visit to the area. We heard a great band and mingled with locals. The cost was very reasonable and it was a nice event. They offer movies and other events. Grab a performance along with a bite and beverage and enjoy the local scene.”

“Stopped at Definitive beer garden on a cloudy afternoon and was the perfect way to spend a less than perfect beach day. Beers are excellent (I tried multiple sours, a Kolsch, and their hard seltzer). There is food there as well and my lobster roll and apple slaw were tasty. Definitely more my style of place to hang as I’m not much for the boardwalk and ending up staying there for several hours and even went back the next day. Derek is awesome! So chill, knowledgeable, and helpful. I thank Definitive for making my short Maine trip awesome!”

“My family and I went to Burano’s this past weekend and everything was excellent! It is great to have a wood fired pizza spot in Scarborough with a lot of menu options. “Was driving around looking for on-street parking to get to the beach - meters were right in front of this spot. Perfect. Noticed a small line, which is always a hint of a good food stop so I hopped in line just before 8am. Great quick breakfast sandwich, but get here early. Even on a Saturday morning post Labor Day/basically out of tourist season the line got deep fast after 8am. Staff member was outside taking orders for people who knew what they wanted to speed up the line (inside is very tight). Ordered a sausage egg and cheese with a black ice tea to go. Under $9 and 10 minute wait. Proceeded to walk 2 minutes to the beach and enjoy my breakfast in peace. For the price, quality, and proximity to the beach this was a solid find.”

The famous Bennie is definitely the closest to a NOLA Beignet that I have found if I was to get them again I would ask for lite powdered sugar, their raspberry sauce was amazing!”

“We had a wonderful time in one of the suites. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, it was a continental breakfast, but they provided a hot dish, like french toast or a breakfast sandwich, that rotated by day. It was close to Baxter Park (about a 20 minute drive to the Togue gatehouse) so we explored the park by day and rested wonderfully by night. The restaurant and bar were also very good!”
