The Crown Room

Address: 145 Louisiana Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, USA

Restaurant

“The Crown Room is something of an anomaly. It wants to recreate the old school glamour of fine dining in a casino however when the casino in question is mostly penny slots in a horse racetrack located at the edge of a part of town commonly referred to as "The War Zone" then you're more likely to share a restroom with someone with face tattoos rather than someone from the Rat Pack. The actual restaurant itself is also a mix of contradictions. On most visits the food has been top-notch and served to perfection. Other times I've received over fried calamari burnt to a crisp. My last visit was similar with excellent food though served with chipped plates, extremely water spotted wine glasses and an odd refusal to offer new forks between courses with an overwhelmed wait staff. Though I suppose as long as people are willing to gamble then The Crown Room will be subsidized by their losses and stick around in all its contradictory glory.”

Coda Bakery

“Took my grandson here after school, we got a #5 and a #23 and a #27. They were AMAZING! Would recommend this place to anyone who likes Vietnamese food.”

Stripes Burrito Company

Address: 2505 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112, USA

Restaurant

“My son enjoyed the breakfast burrito, but in my opinion they are too dry. There was a lot of bacon, but not nearly enough green chile and cheese. The service was friendly and fast, though.”

Bosque Brewing Heights Public House

Address: 5210 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111, USA

Restaurant

“There was used napkin on floor right next to a footpath that was ignored by a handful of servers the entire time we were there, one restroom sink was very dirty, Asian wings were bland, entrees were just fair and sweet potato fries were on the soggy side. My guest said, his food was better the last time he ate there. Disappointing to say the least.”

Acapulco Tacos & Burritos

Address: 2617 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112, USA

Restaurant

“Tiny Mexican spot along Wyoming. Easy to miss, but I've always seen it and wanted to stop in. I went by on a Saturday morning, no one else was there. You order at a counter and the lady was nice. I got 2 breakfast burritos for my son and I. There aren't many tables and it has a VERY retro vibe. But it was clean and we took a small 2 person table. The food was ready at the counter pretty quick. Burritos were wrapped in foil on a tray. They were tasty enough, though not exceptional. They didn't hold together well, you could definitely not eat these in the car. The red chili sauce was only ok, and dominated the flavor. The eggs were a little stingy. There was a lot of other stuff on the menu so I'd be willing to try something non breakfast. If you're feeling adventurous, check it out! The breakfast burrito might not be the killer item though.”

Curry Leaf Restaurant

Address: 6910 Montgomery Blvd NE # C, Albuquerque, NM 87109, USA

Restaurant

“Food was really good- had the buffet. Service was great. Nan bread with garlic is good for garlic lovers. I do have to say that this was my first time and all was great until I left. The door is really, really soiled on the way out. The handle and edge when people put their hands is black. It made me second guess my dinner choice.”

Weck's

Address: 3913 Louisiana Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA

Restaurant

“The food at this location is excellent! the hashbrowns are always crispy to order, the presentation of the food was superb, and the wait staff was always timely with refills without bothering us too much when we were in conversation. I'd definitely recommend this location -- it might be the most consistent out of all the Wecks locations I've been to. It’s also not as loud or busy on the weekdays which is a plus.”

J's Var-B-Q

“Visited this place because my friend Rocky recommended this place. Had the Brisket sandwich with baked beans. Lots of meat, great sauce. The beans were tasty. I also ordered a quarter sausage. The sausage was delicious. It would be better if they cut it at an angle.”

Slim Chickens

Address: 8240 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“I would go back for a dine in experience with fresh food. Ordered online for a later pick up I think they made the food at the time when the order came in and let the food sit ... it was cold and the wings were gelatinous type consistency. I would recommend ordering extra crispy wings. I also recommend the okra, sweet tea, tenders. the spicy ranch(the different ranch) the garlic parm sauce is too salty and the slim sauce is too sweet”

Nekter Juice Bar

Address: 8001 Wyoming Blvd NE Suite B-1, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I had the pleasure of experiencing the vibrant ambiance and delectable offerings at this charming juice and smoothie bar. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and knowledgeable staff who provided exceptional service throughout my visit. The array of fruit juices and smoothies available was truly impressive, offering a delightful array of flavors to choose from. As with many locally owned boutique establishments, the prices were a bit on the steep side. However, I found that the quality of the products more than justified the cost. In particular, the Dragonfruit smoothie I ordered was an absolute treat for the taste buds. In summary, while the prices may be a deterrent for some, the exceptional quality and friendly service make this juice and smoothie bar a must-visit for anyone seeking a refreshing and delicious experience.”
