“As far as tavern food goes, The Land does it well. We just arrived in Pullman in time for a late lunch and a quick search led us here. To be honest I'm not anfan of tavern food. I mean, we have only so many days to live on earth and you want to make the most of each moment. That said there are times where eating at a tavern is in order and if you find yourself there, The Land is not a bad choice. The Cesar not distinguished in any way, but at least the dressing tastes like it has anchovies so props there. And the chicken fingers were seasoned with something, I'm not sure what, but it made them actually taste good, not to mention that they were fried in a way where the meat was actually tender and moist. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. Most of all the service was prompt and super friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend a visit if tavern food is what you're craving.”

“The place has hole in the wall vibes and a beautiful outdoor eating atmosphere. We ate outside since it was a nice day. It is on the same block as the deaconess hospital so you will hear the helicopter flying about occasionally but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the moment! Madelyn was our server and she was awesome! Very sweet and welcoming (since it was our first time there) and she was so informative as far as the menu went. We appreciated her service so much. The food was incredible! For what looked like a small meal (three meat pies and a side of sweet potato fries) it was so filling! Then we topped it off with a delicious baklava milkshake! I felt like I bit off more then I could chew with that alone. (Pun intended) Will definitely be making it a regular spot moving forward!”

“We have not eaten here so I can't give details on food however we have been here multiple times for rolled ice cream. The rolled ice cream is awesome. The only thing I will say that kind of turned me off is that their whipped cream isn't kept in the fridge and it had consistency of shaving cream and was very warm. The prices aren't cheap so I think they could at least keep their whipped cream refrigerated. Other than that the flavors are really great. There aren't many places to sit and the parking lot is small. But I do recommend giving it a try.”

The hot sauce is a nice acidic touch to the salty and sweet and is just delightful!!! “Wonderful experience! Waitstaff were welcoming and very attentive. We dined outside on a beautiful day. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was delicious. The relish and spread used on it should be bottled and sold! It is a little spicy 🌶️, just the right amount 💖 My mom had the fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy. The thick large pieces of fish were cooked to perfection, flaky and moist. Their signature drink menu had lots to offer ! We will be back for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend.”

“Firstly, I will start off by saying that this place is basically perfect and I had no complaints with anything while I was there. The atmosphere was very lively and everyone seemed like they were all having a good time and the workers were very professional and friendly. The workers made sure we were taken care of and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal and time there. The food was amazing we ordered six rolls: Golden California, Monster, Philadelphia, Moonlight, Volcano, and the Red Dragon. All Rolls were amazing and taste was great and fresh. The presentation was beautiful. They brought all our rolls out on what they called the bridge. Overall I had nothing to complain about and would recommend for anyone in the mood for sushi. Our order was a little more than 115 dollars for six 10 piece rolls, edamame, and two beers(including tip). Perfect Sushi Place. Will be returning when I get the chance.”

“I would not recommend this Carl's junior if it's the last place to eat, I would not eat there. That employees are liars. They tried to tell me that they hand bread. The Onion rings and they don't have a Button on your cash register for substitute onion rings for French fries. The next day I called and spoke to management. “Glad that we finally made our way north to try this spot. When we checked online it said up to a half hour wait but we were seated immediately. It’s a fairly small venue but they can turn the tables quickly with their efficient and accurate kitchen. Staff was super friendly, but maybe to a fault. By that I mean that several of their servers would congregate near two tables of regulars beside us and neglect things like coffee refills and cashing out other tables. That was bothersome for me. I am NEVER that customer who wags his empty coffee cup at a server but I was VERY tempted to do so this day. Mentally I WAS doing that as well as jumping on my chair ti try and break their spell—I’m sure they didn’t even know they were doing it!! As for their food, it was indeed pretty good. Wife loved how the bacon was cooked and her egg over medium-well was also perfect. Nice, too that you can choose either two smaller hotcakes or toast as a side. The chicken fried steak patty however was below average. It’s seriously so easy to bread and fry a cube steak that no one anywhere ever should buy those frozen CFS pucks! Have to say that the prices were on the high side and $3.95 for coded is the highest I’ve seen in town (but in their defense, it is locally toasted and pretty good coffee).”

“We have to say Texas Roadhouse is an experience. The atmosphere is great and every 40 minutes you get a line dance from the staff. However, the music gets a bit loud. So be aware of that. The steak was great. Our appetizers were tasty. We had a couple hick- ups. In spite of this, our server Casidy and manager Stephanie were amazing. There was an issue with my chicken, but they corrected it. Worth checking out at least once. Oh, BTW, thier drinks are YUMMY!!!”
