“Cozy, casual restaurant in a busy Somerville neighborhood. We went for our anniversary dinner on our daughter’s recommendation and glad we did. The menu isn’t extensive & keeps changing but the two appetizers we ordered were delicious as was the pizza. The pizzas are light and individual sized but after eating appetizers, one was enough split between the two of us. We got the olive oil cake & flan for dessert & they both were so delicious! Our server was amazing and at the end of dinner, refilled our wine glasses with sparkling wine on the house. I’d definitely recommend a visit to June bug. Beware, parking is an issue in the area. Take a ride share if possible.”

“A solid Korean-Chinese place with laid back vibes. Tangsuyuk chicken was great with a light sweet sauce. It isn't the best sauce I've had, but the chicken was on point. Bulgogi was a bit too salty, but the flavor was on point. The sundubu (tofu soup) was probably the most lacking. It needed a bit more flavor and we got the beef, but the base tasted like seafood. Overall I would come again but probably stick with the korean Chinese food.”

“Food was delicious. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. We dined in as a large group during a thunderstorm, and the staff allowed us to stay after close until the storm passed. They were also very humorous and fun to converse with. Definitely check this spot out!”

“We were looking for a place to have an after dinner drink and TBH we tried a few other places first, BUT! I'm glad we landed at The Jungle. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The drinks were well made. They have a Pac Man machine. And if all that weren't enough, live music. About the music, we stayed for two bands and enjoyed them both. One friend perfectly summarized the experience as such, "I'm not usually into this type of music but this place is so comfortable I'm enjoying the vibe, it's a great atmosphere."”

“Great bakery with a selection of Asian influenced mini cakes! Loved the strawberry shortcake, the cake was moist, cream was very smooth, strawberries were fresh, the combo’s not overly sweet, would def order again! On the other hand, didn’t enjoy the matcha red bean one as much, the cake texture was more coarse, and there’s a savory taste that was a bit odd. Overall, the mini cake’s size is on the small side, with approx. $8 per piece, it’s slightly overpriced. However, the price for drinks were quite reasonable for Boston area, enjoyed my ice americano!”

“I feel very lucky to live near such a cozy coffee shop! Bloc is unique because it used to be a bank back in the day. You can even sit in a few areas that used to be vault rooms. The coffee is always wonderful and the staff are kind. They also have smoothies and seasonal drinks like cider if you aren’t a coffee lover. Their patio space is by far one of the best in Somerville.”

“Had a delicious gourmet Arepa and cookies that reminded me of my childhood. Of course, I also took some cachitos to go! Both owners are kind and welcoming, and I will be back soon.”

“This is such a delightful place to come for a drink, a meal, and a date night. The Eaves is a terrific setting for an intimate 2 or 3 person evening. The entrance is a bit tough to find in Bow Market - though after entering, it's to hide the high quality atmosphere that's inside. We got drinks after being seated and we're impressed by the flavor of drinks indicative of a cosmopolitan feel. The food was most impressive. The spice level was very high and was balanced with the wonderful flavours provided. The vegetarian salad was a good starter, followed by ceviche and finally, the duck. That duck is still something I am thinking about - tender, juicy, and with just enough spice that makes me want more. Our service complemented a wonderful evening. The staff were always attentive to our needs, happy to answer questions, and ensure we had a great time. Though it's a bit pricey, The Eaves deserves 5 stars, a bigger place, and another visit from us and others. Thank you for such a great time and hope to come again soon!”

“Bluefin is the best! Top-notch seafood -- the brown butter lobster roll has completely changed my concept of what a hot lobster roll can be. And the staff/team is simply the friendliest and most caring ever. (Special shoutouts to Peter and Michael!)”

“I couldn't decide between the birria ramen or the crispy beef birria tacos, but I ultimately decided to go for the latter. It took around 5-6 minutes to prepare and was almost $7 for a single taco, which was a bit expensive. However, the taco wasn't bad. The tortilla got a bit soggy once it was filled with the hot beef, so it didn't truly live up to the "crispy" in its name. I would say it was more al dente. The consomé came in a small cup and was served hot. It was the right amount of saltiness. I would come back for the birria ramen since I'm still curious how that tastes.”

“It’s the perfect mix of a brewery and coffee shop. They marry both things well. Nice chill vibe. Good beer. Good coffee. It is in the middle of bow market which is a vibe on its own. Fun place to be! They also had decaf coffee!”

“I've ordered from here twice within two weeks because I couldn't stop thinking about the sandwiches after my first visit. There's a reason it won best new pop-up of 2023. Southern Pines Diner Car is a small place tucked away in the corner of Bow Market. No seating inside, but there is plenty of seating outside. The sandwiches range from $14-$16 and take 10-15 minutes to prepare. - Mighty Mushroom Melt: The bread was toasted and buttered well. The coleslaw was crunchy and sweet from the honey but balanced by the pickled jalapeños, which added a mild heat. There was a cheese pull, but the cheese was not overwhelming. And lastly, the star ingredient, the mushrooms, had an almost truffle-like taste. - A Gourd-Geous Sandwich: The squash was so soft and sweet, and the taleggio cheese had a rich yet mellow taste. The crispy onions tasted like onion rings and added a nice crunch. The bread was ever so buttery, and their signature slaw added a refreshing balance throughout. I rated this place a 5/5 on my first visit, but the second time around I knocked off a star because the person working there was a bit rude, which put a damper on the experience. A few other reviews on Google have also noted similar interactions. Aside from that, the food is what will keep me coming back because these sandwiches are truly some of the best.”

“What a lovely new addition to Union Square! Your neighborhood sandwich and pizza shop serving up elevated bites. It is a cute spot with plenty of seating, well lit, and chalkboards advertising the menu. Everything sounded appetizing, but I decided on a hot sandwich. I went with the gobbler and added American cheese. The bread was buttery and toasted nicely. The sandwich was jam-packed with stuffing, turkey, and the cranberry mayo meshed nicely, bringing all of the flavors together. This sandwich was so savory and filling that I was only able to eat half. I was able to eat the other half the next day, and it was still tasty left over. I got a side of elbow pasta salad, which was also really yummy! I have my eye on the pizza for my next visit”

“Really good food. The name BBQ international tricked me into thinking this place serves traditional American cuisine. Instead you get generous portions of decent Indian/Himalayan food. You must try the chicken tikka pizza! The kebab (black pepper flavor) wasn't that great though, but overall a good experience.”

“I do stop here regularly to fill up don’t very often stay overnight there due to issues out of my control had too. Great staff very helpful friendly it’s a pleasure to go to a smaller truck stop where they have staff that care you pay real prices not like some of there greedy other larger truck stops where we pay double for showers and breakfast is made here fresh for you. Got a shower which was nice and then as I still had time sat and had breakfast nothing fancy but made fresh to order outstanding.”

“Decided to try it after driving by. What a find! They just opened a few weeks ago. Home fries are amazing. The heart healthy skillet was awesome. Lots of fresh ingredients. And the bagel sandwich was very fresh and well prepared. Will make this a regular stop. Good luck Sam’s!”

“We tried this Edifer Pizza last night. We ordered two small pizzas and a chicken burrito - takeout. We were happy with our order. The burrito was solid, and I liked the hot sauce / salsa that came on the side. The pizza had a crisp crust and was very cheesy. Online ordering with Toast was super easy, as I use that for other local restaurants and already had an account. The staff was friendly. We will go again.”

“Patricks uses Harrisons recipe for their beefs and they are delicious. Tasty and full of meat. Id advise getting the super instead of the regular. Onion roll holds up better than the regular roll. Hubby and i could have just split the super instead of ne getting the smaller one. 3-Way, just mayo, just sauce, all yummy. Fries and Rings both crispy. Friendly workers and updated inside. Very homey and welcoming. Definitely an improvement from when I tried Harrisons.”

“5 stars all around! Last Saturday was my first time dining at Brix and after the experience my friends and I had this very well may become our new spot. The food and the drinks were fantastic. You have to try the Bando and the tortellini, they are to die for! And don’t even get me started on the potato cakes appetizer. I can not wait to go back and try everything on the menu.”

“Bob adds a personal touch to the place. On mother's Day he passed out carnations to every woman there! sweet touch. The waitresses were prompt and attentive without being too overwhelming. The menu for breakfast had something for everyone. Sat down promptly. You could have a conversation without needing to scream or use your cellphone to communicate with your partner. definitely going back.”
