“Can't wait to try the food!”

“We happened to be charging across the street during lunch and decided to try one of the few Asian places in town. Overall the main dishes were pretty bland. The pho was nicely herbed with lemongrass, but the broth lacked any depth of flavor and the meat seemed not salted. The pad Thai tasted mostly like soy and the included peanuts were actually burnt. The fish balls were good tho. And they a pretty fine selection of tea to choose from. Despite these complaints we left 3 stars cause we appreciate the fact it's not overly fried or goopy and tasted pretty fresh and light. Would try again if we were around longer. If you're looking for an Asian fix in town, this might be your place.”

“Don’t let the outside sway you away from this establishment. Not the fanciest place but it does the job when food is concerned. My family ate here as our last meal in Alamogordo. They choice burgers as they had a special and I choice the green chile relleno & cheese enchilada combo plate. I’m not a meat eater so this was the best choice for me. The service was slow as there was only one waitress and maybe 1 cook. I would say my families stomach was not a fan of the burgers. They all experienced a trip to the bathroom when we got home. Would advise letting them know how you like your food cooked. They sell everything from breakfast items to steak. Also, they charge for fries when it comes to sandwiches. And sauce (red or green) as it relates to the burritos.”

“If you want a burger in Alamagordo, this seems to be the way to go. It did feel like the record needle screeched to halt and everyone stared for a moment, but that's usually a great sign! You fill out a card that builds your meal and turn it in at the register, if it's for "here" they bring it to you. I wanted to try a lot of things. So our bill was a little high ($69 before tip, for 3 of us). We got fried pickles, jalapeno poppers and extra side of green chili fries and then 3 burger meals. I got the 3/4 lb burger. Meat was fantastic and I requested the perfect toppings, if I do say so myself (ha ha), however I will probably try to 1/2 lb next time, as it was 3 separate 1/3 burgers stacked. If that's the way you are going to make it, that's cool, just be sure to slap a piece of cheese between each layer and let people know they're getting a triple. The fried pickles were spears. Tasted from a box, but fried perfectly. Fried jalapeños, same story (cream cheese), green chili fries def made in house and we all LOVED the burgers.”

“Very average chain pizza. Had some unique New Mexican flair to the topping selection, which is worth checking out, but otherwise tasted like run of the mill american medium crust pizza. Not sure why they advertise Chicago deep dish cause it's nothing like Chicago pizza. Fairly inexpensive, so decent value for the price.”

“1st time trying and see why it's always busy. Definitely recommend the fried rice. Was super excited about banana pudding until the salt was at the bottom of my bowl. Will go back and give it another try.”

“The food was so delicious, spicy chicken, Mongolian pork, Mongolian chicken, mushroom chicken, garlic shrimps, noodles, rice. We went three times for food in our short stay in Alamogordo. 100% recommended.”

“Delicious and affordable options for quick lunch. Had the small Indian taco with green chili and it really hit the spot. Filling and tasty. Staff was friendly, and food was prompt, tables were clean.”

“Food was pretty good. Cooks actually know how to make over easy eggs. Service needs a little work. I noticed unless your a regular they kind of ignore you. They socialize with the regulars but I couldn't get a refill on my drinks.”

“Went through the drive-through, so that's why I give it a 4 because I can't say what the inside of the building was like but we did get our order fast and was on our way so that made me happy 😊”

“Drove by and saw their sign from the street, and then looked it up online and saw the good food. I don't really understand the reviews. Yes, they were busy with just three Chefs/Cooks. And one cashier. They said hello and let me know there was a wait but that the food would be out shortly, and it was. Once I received the food, I had to try the orange chicken and Edamame, and all I could literally do was say mmmmhhhhh." So good. It almost melted in my mouth, and then when I got home, I had the fried rice with vegetables and teriyaki chicken and thought, "This place gets 5's all across the board!"”

“You aren't going to have a mural of a donut and the word "burrito" and expect me to pass by. Quaint spontaneous stop on the way out of town. Heard brisket was the best but they were sold out. Pork burrito was tasty (get the green salsa, so good). Apple fritter was hefty and tasty! Red pozole also good. Won't be the fastest meal ever prepared but you'll get some tasty food at this road side stop. Cash only.”

“Very glad we tried this place. Food was pretty good and a great deal. The beef enchiladas topped with an over-easy egg definitely hit the spot. Patty melt with green chile on texas toast was a close runner-up for table favorite. My son's Frito pie with an egg on top satisfied his expectations. Will eat there again if the opportunity arises.”

“The food was decent, just slow because they were extremely busy over spring break. They recently changed to $7.95 for bottomless chips and salsa, which we were thankful we got! The green chiles have been especially hot and caught me by surprise. I was just excited to find flat enchiladas in town.”

“Great local diner! We got the French Dip with tots. 2 pancakes & scrambled eggs. Build your own Fried chicken sandwich. And of course Cheeseburger and fries! Nice and Busy. Came right at 5pm. Everyone's food was delicious. Even the food on the surrounding tables looked great! What a great place! Forget that it's in a truck stop, it's really a diner with a truck stop attached. Great service. Wonderful experience!”

“Delicious and fresh tasting food. We ordered the original. The gyro bread was really good. Fluffy and soft. I could eat that by itself and would have been happy. I will for sure be back to try other options on the menu, most likely with a side on extra bread 🤭”

“Food is very good I got the lasagna full order that came with a salad very good customer service. The Italian wedding cake was not my favorite had a freezer burned taste. Not worth 10 dollars .”
