Pictured below is the soup of the day, a slow cooked beef shoulder stew and the grass fed steak kebab, with cherry tomato and a well seasoned eggplant.*** So, Sahadis at IC fulfills an incredibly interesting niche and should 1000% be considered as your next go to destination. The selection at Sahadis covers your bases in terms of seasonings with a plethora of options spanning across the Mediterranean as well as northern and western African. Some items here are pricey but keep in mind that you come to Sahadis for select items you can't grab anywhere in the area. Their selection of sodas are also very affordable and fun. Their nuts and cheeses are always fun to gander and gawk at. The bar is lively and the drinks are top notch. I've heard the brunch is also fantastic though I've never had it myself, my friend says they have a potato hash that is slamming! The cheesebreads and foccacias are a no brainer grab you can't go wrong picking these up. What's really improved at Sahadis in my opinion and has really impressed me has been the food. I have personally seen and tasted the monumental leaps and bounds of the housemade food, such as the harissa mac and cheese, the steak kebabs (they changed the meat and portions and it's SUCH a gamechanger), even the hummus beats out most bayridge restaurants now. (Bold, yes). So truly, hats off to the production team and kitchen!!!! They are clearly intent on expanding into the dinner service scene as not only is their menu revamped and thriving, but they have live bands and shows and are catering to the potential of industry city. Don't sleep on Sahadis IC. They're very much in a position to thrive and become the ME food mecca of South slope and Sunset Park.”

“I had no idea this place even existed until my wife looked up brunch spots! Definitely a hidden gem, and it's so close to home I can't believe I didn't find it sooner! Came in for an early breakfast/brunch with my wife and sister and to start we got hot coffee, iced coffee, and a frozen chocolate drink. All were great, the coffee was fresh brewed for my second cup. The food was seriously delicious. Homemade chorizo! I built my own burrito with it and it was delicious! One of the best breakfast burritos I've had, and the homemade hot sauce they had made it all the better! My wife had the lox omelet which she said was delicious, and my sister had the power omelet (can't remember the exact name) Definitely a spot I want to come back too more often. Everything was cooked to order, and portions were definitely worth the price for the taste and quality!”

“My daughter and I visited today and the food was absolutely perfect! I had the shrimp and grits. I am not a fan of wet food so when my dish came and I saw all the liquid in the bowl, I was tempted to order something else. I’m so glad I have in and tried it. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Just the right amount of liquid, perfectly seasoned!😋😋 My daughter had the strawberry and blueberry pancakes and the Turkey BLT. Everything was absolutely delicious! The ambience of the café is perfect for a laid back Sunday brunch. This visit was well worth the drive as we don’t live close. We will definitely visit again.”

“I really liked this restaurant. Got a nice table outside and our server was fantastic. She was nice and had all the jokes. The food was also very good. I got the couscous salad and really liked the flavors. It had a nice spiced sauce that you could mix in, this dish definitely had layers it could also be a good vegan option if you get it without the sour cream. “Okay. Lillo is my favorite place in NYC to eat, and now also my favorite Italian food across the entire United States of America. I’ve eaten at many places, with many different levels of fanciness and quality. Lillo has hole-in-the-wall vibes, homemade deliciousness, and the owner himself serves the food and drinks. “This place is not bad for what it is. My wife and I ordered (1B) Spicy chicken sandwich + wings and a drink combo and (2A) Fried pork sandwich + Fries and a drink. The packaging is so cute! The food wasn’t bad. We only waited 8-10 min for our food. The chicken sandwich is a bit on the dry side and not a lot of meat, other than that 1B was fairly decent. As for 2A the pork was thin but they gave two pieces of pork in the sandwich I prefer the Fried Pork over the chicken sandwich. The fruit drinks that we ordered for the combo was pretty good. (Peach and Passionfruit) For a soft opening this place is not bad. I would definitely come back when this place officially grand open.”

“This thing I just like the most about our stewartshop in the area is that there's no place to pull in with a trailer if you have a little more on the back of it need to gas it up just not enough space between the building and the tanks cars are all right but trucks have no way to pull the trailer up to the pump and the head be able to get gas for the truck also The good thing about it is the people inside a very friendly nice to talk to the very helpful for you if you can't find something and the other thing that I justdis like the most is people who come and park at the gas tanks go inside get a sandwich and sit down and leave their car truck parked out in front of the tank so no one else can use it other than that I give it a four for the service that you get up there on the cleanliness and the care that you provide”

“I came here with a couple of girlfriends to celebrate a birthday after a couple of times of rescheduling due to bad weather. A huge thanks to Naomi, the owner, for being so flexible. The owners are super friendly and personable and made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed ourselves. The facility is really beautiful and gives you a relaxing vibe. The instructor was fun and very accommodating. The only reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is because of the food and the painting selection. The food was OK. I ordered truffle fries with Parmesan and I got spicy seasoned fries. I couldn’t taste any truffle oil because the fries were so spicy. Also, the painting for the night was changed without our knowledge which was a little disappointing because we chose that particular paint night for that particular painting. But we had fun and made the best of it. I would just recommend letting customers know ahead of time if you are going to change the type of painting done for the session. Overall though, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.”
