“I’m so glad Kinzaap Kitchen, formerly the Asian bistro, is now open! I’ve missed good Asian food since they closed. They have the best pho in the Wake Forest area! I also recommend the papaya salad (Lao style). You can’t find it anywhere; it was so good and authentic. The pad thai is also tasty, and Fish Basil was one of my favorites too. This place is located at Flavor District on Capital Boulevard. You can do pick-up or delivery since it’s a ghost kitchen, so no seating is available. Please go see and support them!”

We had a fabulous experience at Milazzo's Ristorante- we met the chef, the owner, Chris and two fabulous bartenders who knew all about authentic Italian food. The mushroom ravioli is a top favorite along with the stuff mushrooms. We tried the lobster ravioli and calamari, nothing was left on the plates. Be sure to leave room for the cheesecake! Simply phenomenal!”

“The store is brand new to the area so it has been packed. Son wanted to try it for birthday. Finally got in on a Sunday at 830pm. Everyone is friendly food looks amazing. Son loved his cookie mash up. I got a small fudging best. Brownie was warm and really good. When I got down to the milkshake it tasted bad. I think the hot fudge was burnt and they still put it in the shake. I'll give them another try, hoping I got a lemon. but I won't try that one again.”

“Hosted a company outing here. When went up to check in with the staff, stood there for 5 min before anyone bothered to acknowledge me, in spite of the fact I was the only one at the counter and it was 3 workers. One had his head stuck in some tablet and the other two were just chit chatting. I was prepared to wait as long as possible to see how long it would take for them to acknowledge me. When one did, she acted like I was truly bothering her. But my coworkers and I still had a great time. The pizza was delish and the chicken too. Although I was not pleased with the 92 grade I saw on the kitchen wall, but our event was paid for in advance so just had to deal. I haven’t been to this alley in years so I was glad to see that the floors were not a dingy carpet anymore. Also I would have thought since we spent quite a bit of money with this reservation that at some point a manager would have came over and introduced themselves and thanked us for the business. If there was a manager around, him/her definitely did not make themselves known. All the workers looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there.”

“100/10!! Everything was great from start to finish. This was a rare date night without the kids and it didn’t disappoint. The drinks were on point (we ordered the watermelon mint martini & the yellow jacket) but I finished with the citrus Pom martini which tasted like a citrus fruit candy and that was my favorite. We had the wagyu sliders and crab cakes as an appetizer and would highly recommend those. I had the salmon and my husband had the tomahawk pork chops and they were both amazing. Leah was our server she and was super nice & attentive!! The manager, Eric, also stopped by to check on things and was very personable with us. The vibe inside was amazing, very intimate and pretty. Will definitely be back.”

“We live nearby and always wanted to try the food truck on the corner but never saw it when we remembered actually remembered it. Finally got to go into the restaurant for the first time and man, a few bites in and we realized we found our new spot! The Mexican corn was beyond delicious! Full of flavor and juicy! The grilled chicken tacos were so fresh and so tasty with the chipotle ranch! We also got a chicken quesadilla with “the works”…which I think is almost everything they have on it. Absolutely to die for! The people in front of us ordered it and once we saw it we new we had to do the same since it looked amazing! Needless to say, we’ll be back! Thank you guys!!!”
