“Convenient donut shop located on busy Red Wolf Boulevard. It can be busy during the early morning hours and due to it's location it can be difficult getting in and out of this place. The donuts and coffee are good however. They have a nice selection of different types of donuts and pastries. They also have kolaches and breakfast sandwiches too. The staff is always friendly and quick. They can run out of items if you don't get there early enough but most of the time they have what you need.”

“Good food. Comfortable, casual environment. Pretty wide selection. Why not give it a try. My wife and I love that this place is right down the block from us so we can walk over for a quick bite. The only downside is street parking if you don’t live nearby but it’s worth trying to go. Not only are there great doughnuts, but the sandwiches, soups, and other foods are great as well. This last time I had the tomato basil soup and papas bravas, while my wife had the oatmeal (she loves it) and the fig, honey, and burrata toast. This is a nice, relaxing place to grab a bite. The food is good. The menu is somewhat wide. The service staff are friendly. And the atmosphere is comfortable. My wife and I went there for a quick bite and enjoyed the beautiful weather while we ate. The only downside is parking, which is street. There are a few parking garages nearby to work with. My wife had the bagel and lox, and I had the tomato basil soup and home fries. Flavors were perfect.”

“Now that’s a cookie! Most oversized cookies suffer from the same issue - they are baked on the outside but by the time you get to the center it’s typically gooey undercooked cookie dough. Thankfully the chocolate chip cookie here was perfect. Baked throughout while still maintaining crunchiness on the outside but still cakey in the inside without being undercooked. This was one of my favorite cookies I’ve had in a long time.”

I am the human version of Cookie Monster, and I absolutely love cookies, and if you know me... you know this! Dirty Dough was suggested by a dear companion who is well aware of my cookie affection. We selected the half dirty dozen so we could try a variety of the current offerings. First up is the Chocolate chip which is my standard "go-to" and this was perhaps our least favorite of the batch. The flavor was somewhat floury tasting, however being fresh they were warm, soft and nicely gooey. Our favorite was the orange cream and something of a pleasant surprise for a cookie. Overall I feel we didn't receive the best value for "gourmet cookies" but we didn't feel completely cheated either.”

“This location is hands down the best shipleys! I was so happy when I walked in and they had an ice and soda machine! Then the also sold bottled unsweetened tea! I looked at my brother and said the only thing that could make this any better is if the had mustard and to my surprise they did! None of the other locations I've been to had these items. All Shipleys have kolaches and donuts that's a given. I want to say thank you to the owner of this location for adding these items to your store. I pay attention to the small details. To add the last time I went to a different location the kolaches were hard and old. I am glad I stopped here. The kolaches and donuts were fresh. Plus the kolaches are best with mustard!”

“I ordered half a dozen glazed & a cinnamon twist. They got the donuts off the tray. The donuts were warm, but cool enough that the icing didn't melt 2 bottom of the donuts. ( The Perfect temperature / cooling time ). Great job !!!! 👏👍 They should call their cinnamon twist just " The Twist " because I couldn't taste any cinnamon in or on like I used 2. " The Twist. “I've been coming to this store for the last 25 years.. and NOTHING COMPARES. I've been to dozens of other Shipley stores, and this one has by far been my favorite! We did have a slight hicc-up this last visit, where the milk we got from the fridge in store was spoiled, but that's the first time something like that has EVER happened. The milk was not expired or opened in any way, so there was no way for the employees to know. We grabbed two right next to each other, and the 2nd one was just fine! Donuts are always top notch, and the warm glazed.. are out of this world!”

“I gotta start off with recommending the brisket & cheese kolaches— WOWWWW!! 🤩🤩🤩 I typically don’t eat meat, but give you don’t find a brisket & cheese kolaches often, I HAD TO TRY IT!! I’ve gotta say, even though in the day I visited, they prepared it with different dough and had more of a pizza consistency… the flavor & fall off the bone of the brisket was worth it. This is probably some of the best brisket I’ve had in awhile, including some of the steakhouses I’ve visited in the past. The customer service is on point & makes me want to return again. They provide the warmth, family-oriented service you don’t typically find, reminded me of good ol’ Sugar Land businesses from when I was growing up here.”
