“Fantastic tacos and even better people working in the truck. Everything tasted fresh and of good quality. This would be frequented on some type of basis if I lived in the area.”

“Driving through we stopped by this cute little resturant on the corner of Main Street in New Castle, we were immediately impressed by the inviting atmosphere! The smiles that greeted us made the entire experience one to remember! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was beyond generous! Even the kids meal was impressive compared to what were used to in other establishments! While we live in grand junction we will definitely be making trips up there just to enjoy the delicious food and wonderful service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Regrettably, my recent visit to Madame Ushi left me with a sense of unease, despite their evident efforts. While the staff tried hard to make us feel welcome, there was an underlying feeling of discomfort throughout our meal. The astronomical prices on the menu left us scratching our heads, as there seemed to be no logical explanation for such exorbitant pricing. Unfortunately, the food failed to justify these sky-high costs. Expecting culinary excellence to match the price tag, we were sorely disappointed by the subpar quality of the dishes. Each bite left much to be desired, further adding to our disappointment. In the end, while the restaurant's efforts were commendable, the overall experience fell short of expectations. For those seeking a satisfying dining experience in Aspen, I would recommend exploring other options that offer better value for money. P. S.: Nevertheless, for those seeking a visually stunning dining setting that transports them to the streets of Japan, Madame Ushi may still hold appeal.”

“This bustling restaurant drew me for 2 reasons. A) the history that it was the original restaurant in its same location since the village grew around it and B) because there is/was a great restaurant in Vancouver that was modeled after this one and I worked there for yrs during Uni! A great history lesson, and bits of Americana nestled into the main street of Aspen. I would definitely recommend people check this place out. Stay for a drink or feed the entire crew, not if you're on shoestring budget tho!”

“I got the beef empanada and it was very tasty. Definitely not worth $7 (used to be $6.50) for the size (if anything should be $5 a piece). Easy to find, person in the booth didn't seem to care to be there which I get, it's work but something more than a stone face would be nice.”

“Very impressed with Clark's Markets upscale additions and tons of new items. The store looks great and is the best in the past 10 years I have been shopping there. I was assisted by Jim and he told me of the over 2000 new items. I am so excited to try so many new offerings! The Clark's team has worked so hard and as a community member I am pleased to have such a wonderful store in town, and appreciate all the efforts that went into the new design. Thank you so much and looking forward to my next visit! Great job!!! -Jen”

“4.5 stars. Conscientious location in the shopping center. Nice portions for a fair price good value. Clearly labeled and lots of vegan / plant based options are a plus. Hearty Pho with nice flavorful broth. Nice portion and quite filling. The vegan summer rolls with lemongrass tofu and peanut sauce was delicious. Food came fast. Friendly service. Would be a good spot for takeout too. Nice outdoor dining.”

“This is probably my favorite Mexican spot in Aspen! They favor locals and you can get such yummy food, in big portions at good prices! The restaurant has good outdoor seating in the shade, and games on the patio. I can’t wait to see how much they grow, and am excited they are open when everything else is closed in off season.”

“Fun restaurant, tasty food, lots of thought put into interior design. Refreshing to have something different that’s not steak, fish, or Italian. Maybe the most vegan plant based options in aspen for a sit down restaurant (other good options for vegans are spring cafe and big wrap). Extensive menu. Friendly service. I really liked the salt and pepper tofu and the green papaya salad. All the dishes are inspired by Thai food but modern takes and/or not classic versions of dishes (for example the dessert of mango sticky rice was almost like a molecular inspired version of the components rather than anything resembling what one might expect). Tasty food all around. Would recommend for something more upscale but not fancy ambience and delicious food.”

“Nestled in the heart of Aspen, The Boat Tow exceeded all expectations, leaving me utterly smitten by its exceptional service and inviting ambiance. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's attentiveness made us feel like honored guests. The variety of dishes on the menu is truly impressive. We indulged in their heavenly deviled eggs, tantalizing tacos, and savored every bite of their delectable strawberry dessert. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. Oh, and their tuna poke? It was a flavor explosion, perfectly balanced and utterly delicious. What truly stood out was the bartender's expert recommendations, which elevated our dining experience. The Boat Tow's atmosphere is both welcoming and chill, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Without hesitation, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional food and service in Aspen.”

“It was nice to find a nice coffee shop while I was visiting on business. I went to several in Aspen, but this was my favorite. It was obvious from all the local attention others think so as well. Food was good. Coffee was tasty. Service was smooth.”

“Ok first, don't sleep on Jodi's if you live anywhere within driving distance get your but down there. Just GO! Second, I'm sorry my picture isn't the best. I couldn't wait to dig into my steak and cheesey baked potato. So there are some bites missing. Third, what you're here for: The Food. I had a 14 oz. Ribeye and a "loaded" baked potato. In Jodi's case loaded mean butter, sour cream, and cheesy. All delicious. I get a beef cow every year or so, which has made me a bit of a steak snob. This baby was more than good enough. I asked for medium rare, nailed it. Flavor, mild seasoning (salt and pepper), good char on the edges, excellent cut. 10/10. Potato, too. An excellent side kick to the hero steak. My 2 dinner partners meals were also praised. One had a filet which was "Wonderful" and unbelievably tender. The other had a veggie wrap with turkey.... Now I'm not sure how it's a veggie wrap with turkey, but regardless it was fresh, clean, and delicious. Fourth, Price. Extremely reasonable. When I got the bill I was shocked. I expected to pay way more for just my food. Again, don't sleep on this place. Give them business. Keep this local gem going strong.”

“A delicious alternative to the Burger King next door. The bowls are delicious, all the ingredients are posted and customizeable so it’s easy to pick something safe if you have food allergies. And my bowl was ready super fast!”

“The food was very interesting, but needs some work for sure. The Caesar Salad I ordered almost had any Caesar Dressing, and came with an upcharge of $18 for Anchovies. The "Seafood Shells" were also a little 'iffy' but weren't that bad. The burger my kid had ordered, the "Cracklin' Bacon Burger' was probably the better dish there. The atmosphere and service there is incredible. I was genuinely happy and surprised, but the head chef needs to lay stuff down on how "this dish" is made/cooked. Their "Old-fashioned" needs some work, but was not horrible. The Long Island Iced Tea was very sweet and sour.”

“I visited Chinatown restaurant last week along with one of my colleagues. The place is quite easy to locate and has parking facilities available. We went for breakfast and ended up ordering Egg Rolls and General Tso Chicken. We thought General Tso Chicken would have a spicy gravy however it turned out to be sweet and tangy. Overall Egg Rolls were delicious however we were not happy with General Tso Chicken. It could be improved. The ambiance of the restaurant is decent.”

“May seem weird to go to a sushi restaurant right next to a gas station, but the sushi is anything but gas station sushi! Everything is very good, highly recommend the sunset roll. The drinks are amazing (we loved the ginger pear martinis) but more importantly is how friendly our waitress was. This is a family-run business, so we are happy to give our support to them. I promise you won't be disappointed!”

“Great service, and my Bison Burger Crepe was delicious & filling! I had to come back for more later on, and had a Black Passion Crepe so yummy. I loved my coffee as well! Very affordable for Aspen compare to some other mediocre restaurants in the core! Don’t get me started to list them.”

“We used to eat at Shooter's when it was in this location. We were coming through Rifle recently and decided to give this place a try! Atmosphere is completely different, but not that it's a bad thing---just different. Service was okay, not great but okay. I ordered chicken fajitas and I do prefer my meat to come out on a hot skillet, as the chicken was already getting lukewarm as they brought it to me. Good lunch, portions were lunch sized but that was perfect for us! Son ordered the carne asada and he said it was good--not the best he's ever had, but still good. I didn't really like the refried beans but I loved the rice. We would try this place again.”

“Go! That’s the best word I have for Mayans! You have to GO here. The tortas and burritos will keep you coming back for more. Perfectly seasoned lean pieces of chicken, fresh veggies, amazingly tasty pintos, and owners who are sold out to making your best Mexican food experience even better. Love this place and highly recommend you to Mayans!! Best Mexican Food. Best Views. Best Place to eat in Silt!”

“The owner’s have taken their Aspen concept and moved it down-valley. New York style pizza with lots of cheese and toppings. Other menu options too but the pizza is what will keep up coming back. Best in the Roaring Fork Valley!”
