“This place is a great place if your in the mood for a thai/mexican fusion!! My partner and I ordered the drunken noodles, Al pastor tacos, Steak Nachos as well as the Thai-Chata. Everything came out delicious and decently priced for great quality food! Will 100% be coming back here”

“First time checking out this casual spot but it won’t be the last. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and you can taste the difference. I really enjoyed trying all of their homemade hot sauces. They were spicy but packed a lot of flavor. This is a great fast casual place”

“We saw that this restaurant opened recently and decide to check it out. We are glad we did. This is a vey pleasant place with a nice atmosphere and great service. The food was excellent and looked as good as it tasted. I had the biscuits and gravy which came with 3 eggs and potatoes. My wife had the crab cake appetizer which was large enough to be an entree. The portions are generous and the food quite good. The coffee was also very good. The waiter told us that they roast their own beans. Overall it is a very nice place and we will be back to try their dinners. I am happy to have this new addition to the neighborhood.”

“I went in for a sashimi deluxe and was pleasantly surprised. They not only upgraded an item to the yummy fatty toro sashimi but also presented the dish beautifully. All the fish tasted very fresh. I was so full by the time I finished the dish. It was definitely worth the price! As a sushi lover, this is one of the spots I would visit on a regular basis!”

“Spontaneously stopped by to check this new restaurant out and ordered a variety of tacos. Al pastor are usually my favorite but all the tacos were so delicious that it’s hard to pick the best one. Margarita was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too sour. And of course I had try flan and it was just a perfect finish to my meal! Overall delicious food, great, friendly service and relaxing ambience! I will definitely be back to try more from the menu.”

“Came here for the marshmallows but fell in love with the hot chocolate. They have hot chocolate flight!! And you can order it iced. I took home the seasonal flavors of lavender and the hazelnut stout. Wow! It was amazing. I can taste the herbal note of lavender. The hz stout was equally nutty and flavorful. The creaminess is astounding even for a cold drink. I had some leftovers in the fridge overnight and it didn't even separate. It was like cream, almost like drinking ice cream but better. It's not too sweet, just a heaven blend of flavors. I read more info and learned they used Kilgis cream. As to the marshmallows, I got a couple of bags with different flavors to try: Earl grey (5/5), cinnamon - not too cinnamon-y which is good but I'm not a fan of cinnamon in general, spicy chocolate (The spice is like a twinkle, 4/5) and salted caramel (5/5 except this was kind of melty), Biscoff (5/5), Ambrosia - feel too much going on. Mocha (uneventful), Mocha (flavor is undefined). And of course opted for vanilla marshmallow for my hot chocolate drinks. I find the marshmallows a tad bit on the sweet side. The barista was super! They had some event going on at the back room when I visited. I'm so proud to have this establishment in the neighborhood. Will come back for sure.”

“Finally - a great Mexican restaurant in Portage Park! We ordered the guacamole, red salsa (which is served warm!), sopa de fideo, bistec en salsa roja, carne asada tacos, steak fajitas and veggie enchiladas. Everything was prepared fresh (we heard them chopping up the avocado and veggies for the guacamole) and is seasoned well. The service is great and its family owned spot. A new gem in the neighborhood!”

“I have to say the food is very good and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the area. Unfortunately, we sat on the patio and the little pizza stands they gave us fell right through the holes of the patio table so an entire buffalo chicken pizza fell on my friend's wife. When we told the waitress what happened, there was no offer for a new pizza, still paid full price for the few slices that didn't fall and tbh no help cleaning up either. While the patio is nice, service is quite slow out there, so I recommend eating inside if you can.”

“I was not happy about paying 11 dollars for 1 chicken strip and hella fries… why they thought it was smart to put II together way the did… not so smart to me…. It was like 1 chicken strip and fries drowned in buffalo sauce! Other then that service was great!”

“My friend and I went here for the first time for a girls night out. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a vibe. We had an amazing bartender(sadly we did not get his name) but he was a black male and super nice and helpful for us looking over the menu or any questions. It was close to closing and we order pepperoni pizza and let me tell you AMAZING!!! The drinks were a bit pricey but overall we thought it was worth it! We will definitely be returning here.”

“Pros: -We went on a Wednesday at 7:30 and it was not super busy until 9pm which was nice. -the service was good! -we really enjoyed our hour of bowling Cons: -if you’re considering eating dinner here, don’t. The food was average and gave us stomach aches. Do not recommend the buffalo cauliflower (was so dry) or the nachos (came out cold, barely had any toppings on it) Overall had a great time with friends but I’d recommend eating elsewhere if that’s your plan!”

“Awesome burger joint next to Wrigley. Plant-based burger was fantastic. My daughter had the wings and they were bomb! Limited selection of NA beer.”

“Went today to watch some basketball. Sat in the upper level vip chairs. The service was great. Alex was helping us and she did a great job of managing what seemed like a lot of square footage for one person. She was patient and knew the menu and drinks. The only suggestion I have is to get larger tables in the upstairs chair area. Lamp tables are too small. We couldn’t really enjoy our food while there for a few hours to watch some games. If you have two empty drinks on the table and food comes out, you have no where to put anything. The food we had was really good, but we all had a tough time managing not spilling it on ourselves and using the nice chairs. The area needs larger tables between the chairs. The layout is awesome and if you sit down on the main level you’ve got a ton of room. I will come back for sure, but I won’t sit in the upper level unless there is a place to put food without worrying about it spilling.”

“Found this place while researching for Korean foods before traveling to Chicago. Glad we ended picking this place when we got here. Seafood pancake was nice. My favorite was the seafood soondubu (came with rice). It was so flavorful & had a lot of toppings. Would definitely come back if we have a chance. 😋 Our server was very nice. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of seatings and we went on a Saturday for lunch. They play K-pop in the background if that’s what you are into. 🌻Parking: street parking. No private parking on the premises 🌻Portion is really big. So keep this in mind when you order”

“More people need to support this business! We decided to dine in as we live in the neighborhood and never see anyone dining inside. Pizza was good! We got the pepperoni pizza, BBQ chicken pizza, and fried mushrooms! Loved the garlic sauce. Server and staff were so friendly and kind and kept checking in on us. BYOB as well! We brought some wine in there. Also open til 4am, Lakeview doesn’t have many open late restaurants. We will be back!”

“Atmosphere was clean and nice. I like that they have a bathroom for the guests. Food probably took 15 minutes, which is very reasonable. People who are complaining about time won’t have fresh food for less time. Food was very fresh, portion size of falafel sandwich and za’atar fries very great. As long as they keep the larger portions, I will keep coming back. The only negative I would say is if you are dining in, they give you ketchup packets. I really hate that. The packets are messy and not convenient. I would rather have a plastic cup with a side of ketchup to dip or have ketchup on the table or hand me a ketchup bottle. It feels more to-go to have ketchup packets. I get it for to-go orders.”

“Ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs and a slice of the Roma. The pizza was fine—melted cheese/toppings would be cool, but the crust was great: thick and crispy. The spaghetti tasted metallic—I threw that away.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tom & Jerry's Restaurant, and I can confidently say it's a five-star experience all around. The food is simply the best, with every dish bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The ambiance of the place is incredibly cool, blending modern decor with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. Tom & Jerry's is a true gem, and I can't wait to return!”

“Our server was Brandy. She was 5 Star!!! Asked all the right questions, was attentive and her timing was perfect! The pizza is the best in all of the Rockford area, actually beats a lot of Chicago pizza places. Crust is done too perfection, and the perfect amount of sauce with FLAVOR. Our favorite place to go!! Can get busy but they always manage to keep up with everything!”

“Feom out of town, first time eating here. Waitress recommended the sausage sandwich and she didn't steer us wrong. Was delicious! Atmosphere was typical of an early afternoon bar/pub. A little loud, but not obnoxiously noisy. People just having a good time...”
