We shared the smoked Mac & cheese with chicken, and a loaded baked potato with the smoked brisket. They were both phenomenal! We definitely will be stopping in more often. “First time coming here after seeing an ad on social media. I drive by this place everyday on my way to work and didn't even know it was here! The ladies behind the counter had excellent customer service and explained what each drink type was since I had never been in before. I got the Mega tea, Mermaid Water, and it tastes SO GOOD. “This is one of the best food trucks in the Des Moines area. It’s very rare to find a place in Iowa that sells cemitas (traditional tortas from Puebla, Mexico made out of sesame seed bread). The cemitas are packed with food. I recommend the milanesa one!! Their tacos are made of homemade tortillas. You only need one because they are ENORMOUS. Very few Mexican places have good horchata or aguas frescas because they are usually watered down with all the ice. I recommend the agua de melón and agua de horchata. This is all good quality food. They have other traditional dishes from Puebla. Everything is fresh, delicious, and with generous portions. The customer service is phenomenal. They treat you very well! They are approachable, friendly, and patient. It was my first time there and I had a lot of questions. They kindly answered them. They also have a great system. They have speakers and call out your name when your food is ready that way you don’t have to stand outside waiting, you can just wait in your car. We showed up at 10:45pm and they still had tons of people ordering food. When you see a lot of people ordering, it’s a good sign. I also love supporting this business because they started from the bottom. They used to only cater and sometimes sell at the bailes. They worked so hard to make this food truck a reality. They also support local non profits. They always give back to the community. Support local!”

Ended up ordering food as well just because everything smelled so good and we were glad we did! Killer grilled fish tacos, good chips, salsa, and guac, and super fast and friendly service. “The look of this restaurant is gorgeous. It is modern and clean. The food and service were AMAZING. We had three employees making sure we were good at all times. Food was flavorful and inexpensive for the portion sizes. Ramen was served in a very large bowl and sushi came with at least 8 pieces in each roll.
