“We a topped in because we heard it’s was opening night. We were greeted and seated promptly. Server came right to the table and was knowledgeable about the menu. No liquor license yet, so no margaritas, but the food made up for that disappointment. The owner stopped by and introduced himself and talked about his vision and dedication to service. You can see the sincere desire to serve in all of the employees. We had an appetizer of guacamole, steak tocos and a steak burrito. The steak on both was perfection. Finished off with Godiva cheesecake! Only suggestion I can offer to this new establishment is to serve the salsa with the chips in a ramekin instead of squeeze bottles, and offer a less spicy version. Only got 4 stars because the atmosphere is still very new and pretty empty. We will definitely be going back!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Leinie Lodge! The lodge itself is huge with plenty of seating. Beers were actually pretty cheap and fantastic. We especially enjoyed their German style beers. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich with mac n cheese and a peppermint chip shake, and all of it was amazing as always. If you have never tried their mac n cheese, you must! Their employees are always friendly, polite, kind, and professional. Their genuine care for their guests is what truly separates Chick-fil-A from all the other fast food restaurants. Their food is always outstanding. Chick-fil-A is exponentially better than any other fast food restaurant. On opening day, the lines were long but things moved pretty quickly and everyone had patience and a great attitude. I can't wait to come back and get more chicken! “We were sent here from a brewery that was slammed when we asked for a sports bar where we could watch the Iowa/ Michigan game, We walked in and they have plenty of TVs. We nicely asked if they could/ would change one to the Iowa game. They were happy to do so. We had a great seat to the first half. GREAT selection of Wisconsin beer on tap. We both had the smoked pulled pork with twice baked potato. The food and service were excellent. They have a wonderful Packer room to check out as well. Very welcoming and friendly. They have a great outdoor patio we would have chosen IF the Hawks were not on TV. Check them out!”

“The St. James Social experience was far beyond a 10 score. The check in is easy, the hotel is exquisitely designed, with impeccable workmanship. I know many folks may not notice the detail but we do and we did notice every little detail of beautiful furnishings with lovely linens and a very very comfortable bed with thick, full and luxurious king size pillows , fabulous flooring, sophisticated colors that please the eye and soothe the soul. The sauna, coffee/tea bar and rooftop lounge area are spectacular features and so appreciated in a hotel stay!!! The rooftop not only provided a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Superior but a fresh, clean and relaxing social space to enjoy. The entry point is securely coded with ample room for entry with luggage. There are a couple other delightful and nostalgic surprises that I did not reveal-enjoy! We are already planning our next stay and look so forward to enjoying the main level lounge as well. Thank you for the great service and attention to detail provided!”

“Good day cafe has recently opened in a location that has historically had a lot of turn around. They're renovated everything - everything is clean, it smells like nothing (which is good). The table, chairs, and booths are all new. It was a good choice to renovate everything. The menu has a lot of options and is pretty friendly to the picky family. They don't have hash browns which I was skeptical of, but the baby red potatoes are actually similar to hash browns and are delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with 1 slice of the cinnamon roll french toast, and my husband had an meat lovers omelette with a side of sour dough toast. Their homemade 4 berry jam is delicious, and honestly all of the food was really good. The French toast was good as well but I was not a fan of the frosting/syrup that comes with it (it was a cream cheese base it seemed like). The restaurant was refreshingly cold. The dinner black coffee was hot and fresh. The service was a little slower than normal, but that may be because our server was about to be cut and I am sure she had other duties to fulfill. The manager/host/owner? lady was really nice. All of the servers and hosts were attentive and helpful with smiles on their faces. This is a nice little place and I hope it stays around longer than the previous businesses that have been in this location.”

“Went there for the won-ton wrapped mozzarella sticks, and they were very good. Also got wings while there, and they were SO good!! Huge, almost chicken tender sized. Reasonable pricing for the amount of food we got. We were seated quickly, and it took a few minutes for our server to come over. When she did, she took our order right away and our food was out very fast. She was very attentive and nice. Only complaint I had was my table was a little bit sticky, but will definitely go back for wings again!”

“First time eating here. The food was amazing. We went to the food truck fest at the Henry Maier Festival Park. I had emailed Nadia the owner beforehand to ask if they had any GF options since I have celiac disease. Nadia responded right away and said that they could make me a pizza with cauliflower crust or I could order the Italian nachos without the Bechamel sauce or Brussel sprouts with Sriracha Mayo. When I got to the window to order they said they weren’t making any pizzas today because the person who put the food truck fest together wanted quick food, turned out. So no pizzas because it would take at least 10 minutes to make. Nadia said that she would make me a pizza anyway with whatever toppings I wanted and said I would be getting the first pizza of the day😁. I ended up ordering the Italian nachos and a pizza. Nadia didn’t even except payment for the food. She and her staff went above and beyond. Everyone was polite and friendly. I even chatted it up with her son while my pizza was baking and he said he enjoyed the cauliflower crust as well. I ended up putting $25 in the tip jar since she didn’t want to charge me.
