“My wife and I stopped here for lunch. I was here several weeks ago and had the lobster BLT, and it was delicious. We were going to try the boneless wings, but when the server told us about the special, Shrimp, scallop, lobster pasta with mixed veggies, tossed in sun dried tomato cream sauce, we decided to go with that... It was fantastic! The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was exceptional! This wasn't a dish that was on their normal menu, but I told them my opinion was it would be a game changer if it was. I'm hoping the next time I stop there I'll get able to enjoy this once again. They also have a great beer list and a very good wine list as well. The servers were very helpful and checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed. It'll definitely be worth your while to stop and try this gem in the North woods!”

“I love that I can stop here when I do my weekly grocery shopping. But, if I don't come early enough, they are closed. Sometimes they're closed by 3pm, 4pm or 5pm. But, I'm not going to be upset about them not being open. I know they've been having a hard time getting people to work, or unexpected things come up so they're short staffed a lot of the time. For the times I do catch them open, they are all professional, nice and they do their job quick. I'm never in the line or by the pay window for no more than 2-3 minutes. Even with them being short staffed, they do a wonderful job!”

“Decided to stop in for breakfast. It took a few minutes before anyone realized there was a customer at the front. The two employees were pleasant enough, but later a third employee came in while I was eating, and the three of them started to grip about other employees and how things were run. Now, I know employees complain about work, but I really did not want to hear it. Especially about the night shift not cleaning up or leaving things for the morning shift. Speaking of which, the booth that I sat in was dirty, crumbs everywhere, so they are not cleaning up in-between customers. Since it was breakfast, I would expect the place to be clean. Now the food. The waffle was actually pretty good. It was hot and was not soggy. If I remember correctly, I had to pay extra for syrup and it came in a small cup. I would have liked a little bit bigger cup. Also, they only have plastic wear. Half way thru my waffle, my fork broke. Pretty much everything is disposable except for the tray. I also ordered a breakfast burrito. It was much bigger than I expected. It wasn't to bad. I kept it simple with eggs and meat, but wish I would have gotten cheese for more flavor. I have not tried their lunch or dinner foods. But will likely check out their tamales and/or tacos.”

“Lovely, fancy little place! I had the chicken parm which was very good and a ton of food. My husband got a steak. He never compliments food but he said the steak 🥩 really was delicious. Service was wonderful. The owner was walking around checking on everyone. He is very nice and personable. The menu isn’t huge but it doesn’t need to be in my opinion. And the options they do have are fantastic.”

“Amazing beach. Awesome campground. Great fishing. I recommend bringing a canoe or kayake. Very peaceful and relaxing. Bring your own beer though. The bar has an atm and a credit card machine but they will only take your card to pay for camping. Not for food or drinks such makes me think they just want to pocket the cash.”

“Stopped in for a to-go order on our way through and what a great atmosphere. The bartenders were very nice, and all the local customers were friendly. It’s great walking into a strange (new) place you’ve never been and be immediately welcomed by all. The food came in the best to-go box I’ve ever seen! No styrofoam, which ends up over cooking your food, instead it was sort of plastic like. We had a 45 min drive home yet and the container kept the food at a perfect temperature and it was still medium rare! The fries kept well too! Overall a great place, would definitely eat their food again and if we have the time, stay for our meal.”

“Okay, so I've been meaning to do a review on this place. So my fiance, his mom, and I went to SamiJo's Pizzeria I wanna say in Oct. So yeah I am late on this review. Anyways, we've been wanting to try this place out. And we were happy that we did! I believe it's fairly new. It was new for us. The pictures I will be posting are from 3 different times we were there. It was so good we actually went back like 3 times in one week. And the owners and staff were so welcoming and greeted us when we walked in. The ordering is different from other places I've been to. You pick where you want to sit. Menus are on the tables. And when you're ready you go to the register and order. Which is so different! It's pretty cool they do that. And one is when my daughter came to visit us. She and her boyfriend moved back in August. They now live in St Paul, MN. So we took her there and she couldn't get over how good the pizza was! She can eat a lot and not gain weight. My daughter and fiance ate that pizza like there was no tomorrow. She said it's better than Gus Pizza which is saying something. I was like you just didn't say that lol. She did. It's cool how now they know us when we go and eat there. And the gentleman always asks how my daughter is doing. The reason their pizza is so good it's because of the crust. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We overheard a girl saying that her boyfriend is from New York. And misses the pizzas there. They went there before and he said that the pizza is close to how they make them in New York. I highly recommend going there and try their pizzas and other foods on the menu. We say we're going to try something else. But the pizza is so good. So like 3 years ago I had COVID when it was going around. I still don't have my scent of restaurant food in general and anything else. So I can't tell you if it smells good or not. My daughter and fiance said that it smells great. Be safe everyone!
