“Really good burgers are back. A previous bar and grill in this building (The Bear's Den) had the best burgers in town. Once again, it seems One More Mug Bar and Grill might have the town's best burgers in the very same space. The burgers we enjoyed were sizable and had great flavor. They had a bit of char offset by a toasted bun and quality toppings, especially the grilled onions. The deep fried onion rings were also a stand out item. The menu offers standard bar food like pizza, wings, appetizers, and the aforementioned burgers. Plus, flat breads, wraps, tacos, shrimp, and salads are served, to name a few others. There is an AYCE Friday fish (cod) special as well. The newly renovated place is clean with comfortable new tables that surround a horseshoe bar. The new operators ran Jarritos, so I'm guessing their margaritas and mojitos will be on point, too. We have been back several times and have enjoyed everything. “This is a fantastic place! Came to watch the Super Bowl. Started with the cheese curds which were absolutely perfect. On my top 5 places for cheese curds. Got a Bloody Mary to go with them and that was fantastic as well. I got traditional wings tossed in BBQ and they were delicious. Ordered a side of fries tossed in salt and pepper which added a great flavor to them. Finished off with their Smores Brownie. Would have been better with a scoop of ice cream but it was still great. The staff was excellent. They have a huge selection of beers so if you drink beer this is definitely a place to check out. I have a feeling that I will be coming here a lot.”

“Shane and Stasia were both so warm and welcoming. We showed up at 9 pm sniffing around for fish fry, and owner Shane fried up the perch special on the spot. He wore gloves while prepping and checked in on us multiple times. The drinks were affordable and poured heavy. The atmosphere was very small , and happy and goofy, with lots of options for game and competition (pool table). The bathrooms were clean and homey and the bar etiquette was superb (excellent recommendations on new drinks to try). Best of all, they're substance abuse informed and have narcan available to help prevent overdoses. I've never seen a small town bar be so accessible and lead with love over judgement.”

“My boyfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary. He had the tomato pesto rigatoni, was phenomenal, our favorite dish. I had the wagyu burger, it was an average burger it was good but nothing special, the fries were basic. The service was outstanding Brenda our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us a dessert on the house for our anniversary ! We’ll definitely come back here!”

The place is very small so it was hard to walk around with other people ordering as well. “We had a great time at Niche Cafe in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. I love the idea of being able to self-serve a 2 oz 4 oz or 6 oz pour of any of the specialty wines curated for us by the owner Tracey. On the night we were there they had a great selection of French wines as well as a few California blends and plenty to choose from in whites reds and blends. I also appreciate that they had some specialty whiskeys and bourbons to choose from in the same idea of machine-pouring a measured amount. This is a great way to get to choose from many different types of wines and spirits. We also appreciate there are snacks and pastries to order. The decor in the cafe is modern and sleek and clean. We can't wait to come back in warmer weather to be able to sit out on their patio.”

“My huge thanks to the guys who operate the taco counter inside the station. I had a dangerously leaking tire and I was 80 miles from where I needed to be. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know how to put air in tires, so I went in and asked for help. The store attendant couldn't help, but the taco guys came to the rescue! Went above and beyond and wouldn't accept any money. And it was my 67th birthday, so they made my day!”
