“If you're looking for great hosts, a relaxed environment, comfortable beds, and top notch food - then this is your B&B. Maria and Jonathan are perfect hosts. They will welcome you like family or old friends. They have put so much work into their B&B. The mattress was so comfortable, the sheets were great, the towels were perfect and the decor made the room feel cozy. My biggest recommendations are to get to know your hosts. They are great people who truly care about serving their guests. The experience matters to them. Additionally, don't bother to order breakfast off their menu... our little secret is to ask Maria to surprise you. You'll be happy you did. She is a fabulous cook. This B&B was a top notch experience.”

“Capt Frost Seafood never disappoints when it comes to fresh seafood! I recently purchased some fish and scallops to cook at home, and I was blown away by the quality. The fish was incredibly fresh, with a delicate flavor that shone through in every bite. And the scallops? Plump, juicy, and oh-so-sweet – they were a hit with the whole family. Cooking with ingredients from Capt Frost Seafood elevates any meal to a gourmet experience. If you're looking for the freshest seafood to enjoy at home, look no further than Capt Frost Seafood. You won't be disappointed!”

“Downtown Wilmington is so happy to have the only Acai shoppe in the area! I cannot wait to try each bowl. Cutest nautical vibe store, staff that goes the extra mile, delicious creations and wonderful ownership. Congrats on your GRAND OPENING!”

“Awesome location.....can't argue with that. Parking was challenging...Friday evening (thank goodness no concerts). Service was on point, margaritas were middle of the road, food the same. Love Los Portales and they mentioned this would be more authentic like that given their affiliation. California Mexican is hard to beat ....unless you're from Mexico. Again, beautiful location. Perhaps they are working out the kinks.”

“It's brunch time downtown. This is a black owned new delicious option. I enjoyed the not so classic shrimp and grits. They have kicked it up a notch. You will not be disappointed. This will be my new breakfast options. Several locals I met have already made it their neighborhood go-to.”

“My neighbors (9 in total) spent a very enjoyable and fun evening at Viny’s last Saturday evening ! Vinny is a great chef and his food is professionally prepared and watched over. Viny is very creative and the portions were quite large. The ambiance was perfect and the restaurant was clean and impressive! I highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits, the pork chops, the Viny bread or the Viny chicken ! You can’t go wrong with anything actually ! We will be going back monthly for our Viny fix ! Dana is the perfect hostess !!”

“We stop at this place cause our daughter wanted to give it a try . The atmosphere was nice. Plenty of seating tables. I had the southern chicken sandwich and I didn’t leave any leftovers so that should tell you about the sandwich . My daughter had the chicken and nuggets and she raved about it. Prices were reasonable they have a decent drink menu I tried boba milk tea . The service was good the bathroom was clean. If you are on the area and thinking of a place to eat give them a try.”

“The trick is located on the back side of Zillicoah Brewery, go through the brewery or around the covered patio side. It's quite far back. The last time I had Filipino food was over 10 years ago so take this with a grain of salt - I could be doing it all wrong. I asked about the menu, and wanted to try the lumpia. I went with the Platter, which comes with 5 lumpia, 3 skewers, a thimble of pickles, java rice, orange-color sauce, brown-color sauce, and soy sauce. It's too much lumpia and not enough of everything else for a shared meal and too much for a single meal. I dipped the lumpia in the orange and the brown, preferring the orange, but both were tasty. The lumpia was the standout for me, dipped or plain. The rice was a bit gummy and underseasoned so I poured the thimble of soy sauce on top and that helped a bit. I dipped the chicken and pork skewers in the brown and orange, but preferred the brown. The skewers were dry and tough. I wanted to like these more, but the flavor was underwhelming and they were difficult to eat. I loved the pickles and wish there was more than a spoonful. The folks were super friendly and the presentation is good, but the food was a bit all over the place and nothing was particularly great or memorable. Could be an off night, could be early days. Give it a shot and see for yourself.”

“I had the chopped angus steak, and it was really good. Everything was flavourful and cooked correctly. This place is new and it was packed. They boasted about paying a living wage, and therefore, tips were not necessary. However, you pay the price without the service.”
