“The place was a little dirty, with stuff on the floor also only one guy was working on the counter so one person took about 5-8 minutes to take care of each person. While I was in the store waiting, 5 people were also waiting behind me, I called in the order at least 30 minutes before and I still had to wait 10 minutes when I came into the store. I get 8 piece leg and thigh, the chicken was juicy, good food just need to improve on the staff.”

“This was seriously one of the best meals I've ever had!!!! The wings were crispy and juicy. The Mac n cheese was the definition of home cooked meal. The yams were perfectly sweet and I've never had better beans. This was my first time eating collard greens, and when I say my eyes have been opened I mean it. The service was outstanding. This is the best example of a small business owner really taking interest in their community. She was so patient and kind. She let us try some of the food before we ordered to make sure she gave us the best experience possible. I can't stress enough how fantastic this place is. Please please please give Monique's a try. Everything they sell here is healthy & delicious. My favorite smoothie is the Blue Banana Smoothie. They also have the best Açaí bowls, my favorite is the Pure Pitaya. “Been wanting to come here for some time but something always came up were I couldn't. Well I was able to and I have to say the food was fabulous. Delicious, full of flavor, juicy, warm..definitely worth the trip and price. Was greeted by Anyia (I might be a little off on the spelling) nice young woman. She promptly took my order and stated if I had any questions to go ahead and ask her and she would be happy to answer any questions I might have and offered me chips and salsa as I waited for my meal. Currently they have dine-in and carryout to accommodate one's schedule. Atmosphere is also great. Small restaurant but does have 5 tables where one can sit. Some tables can handle up to 7 people. It's an order at the counter and they will bring it our to your table. Soft drinks are bottle or cans (Coke and Pepsi products) plus coffee or water. Several variety of sauces to try on your tacos or burritos. I picked the TK Tacos dinner (pictured) which came with my choice of two sides, which I chose rice and refried beans which came topped with cheese.. All the food was excellent and highly recommend coming here. They are the new kids in town (only opened up 7 weeks ago) so show them some love and patronize their establishment you won't be sorry. They are located just West of Hoover and on the South side of 12 Mile Rd in a small little place next to a Thai Food restaurant. Please show this restaurant some love. They are really great people and awesome food. On a Saturday night hardly anybody was in the restaurant eating. 8/5/23 Second time here and they did not disappoint! This time I had my father with me who is somewhat of a picky eater and hard to please. We walked to counter where we were greeted by Madison. A delightful young woman with a great smile. She took our order and we went to sit down. In no time we had our chips and salsa and it wasn't long before we had our meals. I choose to have the 3 tacos with beef with lettuce and tomato with two sides. Pinto Beans with Mexican cheese and Spanish Rice and dad had the Chicken Burrito which came stuff with Pinto Beans, corn, cheese and chunk chicken. Both dishes were warm and we were delighted by both. The food was warm and tasty. Actually dad who cannot eat a lot finished his burrito. Service was excellent as I expected it would be. Madison was new and knocked it out of the park as well as the manager on duty did also. Highly recommend coming here and show them some love.”

“It's definitely a must try. Ideally, for us, 4-6 people would be perfect. The food was good, but there was no direction in how the Korean BBQ and Hot Pot worked. We had a party for 4 and ended up ordering WAY too much food. It was delicious. I loved having the hot pot while my husband enjoyed the bbq. It is certain worth the extra $5/person to get both! If possible, check out their menu before going. Ask your guests what they are hoping to try, and that way, you can maximize the food and experience. The only negative thing for me is that I wish they had carryout containers to at least take your hot pot home. I understand them not wanting to offer takeout containers for the barbecue, but the hot pot is so big that I felt like we wasted so much food.”

“Visited the restaurant on their 2nd or 3rd day of being opened! There are definitely some kinks to be worked out, so I will not be harsh in my review! I loved the ambiance and the small changes made to the layout as I was a frequent patron of the previous vendor. We were seated immediately! I am not sure why we were offered a booth for 5-6 people and it was only 2 of us. We asked if we could sit at the tabletop. She allowed us to sit there! We were given food menus and water. But nothing was handed to us for alcoholic beverages, so we were puzzled. We have never heard of this restaurant, just excited to try the new restaurant in our old spot! So we started googling to see if they had a drink menu. Our waitress comes to the table to take our order. I asked if they could make a mojito, she said I guess. Then my friend stated we see beer tabs and liquor bottles so I am assuming you can make specialty drinks. She was like, sure did you not get a drink menu. She handed us one. She gave us a minute and we ordered a white gummy martini. It was delicious and a must order. As for the food, I asked our waitress what would she recommend. She was clueless! She was sweet and hospitable, but knew nothing about the menu and couldn’t recommend or sell me anything. I loved her personality, so I will give her A+. We had the Firecracker Shrimp, Shrimp Tacos and the Margherita Pizza. Both of the shrimp meals were great. However, the pizza cook needs more training. The flavor was good, but the middle was soggy and the entire pizza fell apart as you tried to get a slice. We at the ends like breadsticks. The female that delivered our food, needs more training on food delivery. When she delivered the food and as she sat the plate down of shrimp tacos and fries, majority of the fries fell on the table. She kind of froze up, not knowing what to say or do. She left and never came back or offered more fries. Our waitress passed by us and asked what happened, we told her and she cleaned up the spilled fries. On a side note, it appeared that everyone that was seated at the high top table, when food was being delivered it went to the wrong person more often than not. You had to watch for your food. Our food went to the wrong people and I had to speak up. Once the kinks are worked out this place will be a success! I will visit again in a few months!”
