“This food was amazing! I enjoyed my meal by dining in and the place was clean and the staff was pleasant. My food was hot and seasoned to perfection. I do not eat pork so I was thankful to know that they catered to my dietary restrictions. I will order desserts the next time I stop by... I was too full (large portions of food!)”

“Amazingly good! Also we met the owner and she is wonderful and her staff is very friendly and helpful as well! I got the big dill delight, my friends got a vegan jackfruit dill sandwich and the halal dill sandwich (about $15 each but they have less expensive options and they are so worth it) All amazing and they even gave us extra napkins and a glove to eat it with since it was a juicy pickle sandwich. They also had rap snack chips that were fantastic and lemonade. Also they have free pickle juice! Will definitely be making this a regular stop when i visit Detroit!”

“I stopped here on a whim, hungry denamug. Ordered it to go and when I opened the box I was pleased with the smell and what I saw. My hunger was not wasted as I really enjoyed the taste of my pizza, especially the crust. What I was not pleased with is the amount of spinach I received that I paid for. I assumed it was parsley flakes and I should’ve inquired. I thought it was under the sauce or cheese—a 4 cheese blend that was great—but it wasn’t there and neither were the mushrooms I ordered. I ordered the mushrooms because they didn’t have seafood—they don’t carry it anymore even though it’s still on the menu. The sauce was really good—kind of reminded me of Buddy’s sauce. The employees were super cool and the space was great. Another plus, is that the pizza tastes great the next day in the air fryer. Just wished they gave me exactly what I paid for. I don’t mind paying more for quality food.”

“So excited to see they are now open. What a welcome edition to our neighborhood. Be mindful of parking. They share part of the lot with the business next door. And there's not too much space inside as its a smaller building. We had the biria tacos and wow they were stuffed with meat and lots of melted cheese. The shell was delicious and crunchy and the sauce was amazing. 2 of them will fill you up! These will be my go-to. Highly recommend. The steak quesadilla was on point as well tons of meat and flavor. I was really impressed with the tostada, especially with the price. They are not chintzy with toppings. The ground meat is pretty good. Maybe it could use a tad bit more salt. The carnitas tamale was good too and a great price compared to other local places. A bit spicy. We also tried the fried ice cream. It was most definitely yummy!”

“House of Barbecue: A homestyle hidden gem. We ordered the barbecue smoked chicken breast with the famous mac n cheese and coleslaw. First bite and you could tell the chicken was smoked perfect, tender and so flavorful. We also got the shrimp skewers with their famous barbecue street corn and potato salad. Do not sleep on this street corn, it was incredible. Shrimp were delicious and all the sides were amazing. Both dinners came with a little crispy jalapeño corn bread which was a very tasty and appreciated extra. This restaurant is wonderful, staff are so kind and a great family atmosphere. House of barbecue knows their barbecue and doesn’t disappoint 🔥👏🏻”

“I love hopcat!!! We sat in the back of the restaurant which is a little tent made to feel like a ski resort. Our waiter was so nice too! He was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome there are so many great options with lots of variety. The 24k gold wings are so cool! What a great idea.”

“My first time here and I will definitely go back to try some other sandwiches. Someone else ordered a Ruben and it looked really good. I got the Italian and didn’t really like it. The crew was super friendly, helpful and patient with everyone. Parking was a bit tight for my big stupid truck, I didn’t hit anything though. They are carryout only and don’t have public restrooms. Lunch was just under $20 for a premium combo and tip. Counter service took less than 10 minutes to order and get out the door. They were playing some deep track oldies off of Spotify while I was there.”

“Unbelievably expansive menu in a petite building. Service is great, friendly and fast. The ingredients are fresh and wonderfully prepared. The food flavors are distinct and well balanced in each dish, the presentation is beautiful, the portions satisfying. The biscuits are spectacularly tender and full of flavor. We will be back…and back…and back…”

“My parents ordered takeout a few weeks ago and were very impressed, so we decided to order from here for my mothers birthday celebration (feeding 10). It was delicious! We all raved about how good it was. Plenty of food with leftovers too. They even helped carry it to the car for us. We will definitely be back.”

“What a cool place! Came here with friends and after-dinner cocktails. Really good drinks. Service was a little on the slow side but we came on a Friday night and they were slammed. The atmosphere is great. I ordered the Regal and loved it. The old fashioned I ordered needed a touch more sugar but they did a really good job smoking it.”

“Not only does this establishment sell sporting goods, they have a nice little cafe featuring sandwiches, wraps, salads, smoothie bowls, Buddha bowls, coffee drinks. There were some good vegan options. We enjoyed it so much, we came back 3 more times during our stay in Sault Ste Marie. The avocado toast was delicious.”

“Passing through town, we stopped at Cue Master for lunch and a round of drinks. We had a nice time. For food we shared, a burger, cheese curds, chicken strips, curly fries, a BBQ chicken pizza, and a b.l.t. Everything tasted freshly made with care.”

“Server was friendly. Food flavor was good, Food quality....well the meal I had was good however, my mother had the ribeye steak and it was mostly fat. Honestly, it was the worst steak I've ever seen. So, for that reason I subtract 2stars because for the price we paid the cut of meat should have been better.”

“Really loved this place. We had ordered pasties here for family and their reviews were tops, so had to try them ourselves. Bonus....they ship all year long so you don't have to wait until cool weather to have a pasty. If you can get here, do it. If you can't....pick up the phone. You'll be glad either way!”

“The music was too quiet, the lights were too dim. The people behind us used phone flashlights to view the menus, although it didn't bother my party. The food was overpriced. My husband and I split an entree, had one dinner salad, and couldn't make it out under $30. There was also a credit card surcharge, which wasn't notated anywhere on the menu but was included on our bill (4-5% of total bill). The food portions were also small for what we'd expected. The $7.5 antipasto salad (see photo) was underwhelming. As a positive note, they made their own tomato sauce for the Ravioli, and that was the stand out point of our experience. However, the $4.5 meatballs were not anything to brag out either as they were smaller than your average cookie dough scooper. Our service was quick, as they had a big party coming in soon after us. When it came time to pay our bill, we kept getting overlooked, which made our exit about 10 minutes too long. The breadchunk (as opposed to breadsticks) could use some tweaking, but when they were dipped in a sauce, they excelled. Overall, it was a cute place to stop while in town, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.”
