“Bartender was quiet and super polite. We got Bacon Double Cheeseburgers! Square patties like Wendy's only better! Good buns can make or break a burger and he is picking some good ones! Excellent foods, fast service and log cabin vibes! New owner is doing it right! Only on a lunch break, so I'll update when we actually have drinks!”

“The staff was exceptional! Every person we dealt with was friendly and professional. When we called in the reservation, I mentioned that we would need a pack and play for our infant. I figured we would need to have it brought to the room when we got there, but when I inquired about it at check-in, I was informed it was already in the room. This was much appreciated! We loved the kiddie pool since our kids are 8 months and almost 3. The staff at the restaurant were fantastic! Our breakfast server remembered our toddlers name from the morning before and did great taking our toddlers order. Overall a great experience, but the hotel could use some improvements. The mattress on the pullout sofa in room 244 was awful. It felt like you could feel every spring in the mattress. The bathroom also looked pretty dated. The carpet going down the hallway to the conference rooms looked either really dirty, or just plain worn out. Overall: A wonderful experience! Would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed in the lodge for 4 days and ate here for dinner 3 out of 4 days. We really wanted to like this place but we were just disappointed. The first day we had amazing appetizers. The stuffed crab mushrooms and chicken wild rice soup were amazing! We ate breakfast here 3 out of 4 days as well and the breakfast was awesome every day! Unfortunately, that was it though sadly. Au gratin potatoes, stuffed walleye, steak, curly fries, pasta, fried clams, fried shrimp, they all lacked seasoning. Not to mention the fat on the steak wasn't even rendered. We ordered the chicken wild rice soup 3 times. The first night was great, the second night tasted just ok, and by night 3 you could tell the soup was simply "leftovers." Fried clams lacked actual clams and was mostly breading. Fried shrimp again had no seasoning. The staff were always the greatest though. Super friendly, attentive, just awesome people! The view of the lake is quite breathtaking this time of year. Fridays and Saturdays I would highly recommend reservations as it's quite busy and they fill up. You may be asking if we didn't like dinner then why did we keep going? Well unfortunately, this time of year in Ely, hardly anything is open in town unless you want Subway or Domino's every day. Like I said, due to the staff and the views and breakfast, we really wanted to like this place. But after trying almost half their menu, we unfortunately were left disheartened. Highly recommend this place for breakfast, the atmosphere, the staff, along with the views. But food-wise for dinner could be a lot better. Thank you for having us and being so sweet to our family. You have a great set of staff!”

“even though it was a Friday it was a very slow service and our party showed up at 630 and after we got there only one more party party showed up so it was the end of dinner rush and even after alot of people left we still had slow service i even had to go ask for to go boxes and some of us ordered salads and they brought that out last. but other than that, i love their fried fish”

“This place was so cute and adorable! I love the opportunity to buy local crafts around the shop. Not a ton of seating, but the atmosphere was lovely. The three ladies behind the counter were super helpful with the menu (delicious sandwiches) and were super charismatic and funny. The coffee hit the spot too!”

“The staff was awesome. Friendly and happy. But the drink I ordered is terrible. I got their new spring honey lavender espresso shaker. I don't know what I was thinking, lavender should never be in a coffee. I can't even drink it. Took a couple sips and had to throw it out. Location and staff is amazing, drink is undrinkable.”

“It's so refreshing to have a vibrant non-chain juice shop in our local community! I love the variety in flavors + add-ins, their flexibility with my customized flavor whims, and how cheerful and patient the workers are. I can't wait to go back and try more! I've enjoyed the juices, wellness shots, and açaí bowls in particular. Side note: I had the distinct pleasure of observing Ella in action - what a marvelous example of a young person with flawless customer service! Wow. I was so impressed to see her handle 5 different situations with professional-level grace, care and attentiveness during my last visit.”

“Food was fast to the table even with 80% of the restaurant full. Everything had great flavor and perfect amounts. They have a great lunch menu to meet all types of sushi fans. Did not have a chance to try any beers or cocktails, but they have a good selection. The only thing I would say is because they are in a smaller location, super large groups should call ahead 8 or more.”

“I love the variety of flavors they have! It also makes it such an easier process that they label their flavors unlike other bakeries I have been to. I tried the red velvet cake donut and the banana cream pie donut and they were delicious. Also got an iced mocha that was good 😊”

“You either love it or hate it. Depends on your views of supplements and Herbalife. Drinks were about what you'd expect for a protein shake. Way overpriced (first timers do get 50% off). Same base ingredients, sugar coated with fun flavors (stevia coated in this case lol). I got the salted peanut brittle and berry lemonade (price is for tea + shake). Items 1-8 and 11-14 supposedly don't have stevia but the berry lemonade still tasted pretty sweet to me. Also, the menu is massive and overwhelming lol. They did do a good job of explaining fan favorites. Other than touting itself as a healthy meal replacement, there are no claims of preventing or curing disease (although there is a strong implication). Nothing explicitly wrong in that. The staff are careful not to make such claims. They just sell shakes with certain ingredients. You do your own research (or not). The patrons I interacted with during my visit appeared to be regulars. Mary (co-owner) and Amy were present at the time and both were friendly and charismatic. They do make you feel welcome and part of a community. They also take part in community fitness / wellness events and provide coaching. I felt like they sidestepped the question on qualifications but I hope people get actual dietary and fitness advice from a medical doctor if they need it. They also make you sign up with your phone number and email address "to generate a receipt". Classic data grab. I really bummed about this. The store is in a great location and the interior is impecabbly clean. Well lit and laid back environment. This place wasn't for me, but if you're into the wellness lifestyle and want to feel part of a community, this is a great community to be in.”

“I recently discovered Annapurna Foods in Plymouth, MN, formerly known as Kadai Foods, and let me tell you, it's an absolute hidden gem! The owners have truly created a culinary haven with a delightful menu and exceptional service. The variety of breakfast options is extensive, and the fact that they serve breakfast until noon is a game-changer. We tried a plethora of dishes, and each one was a burst of flavors. Among the standout dishes, the Ghee Upma stole the show with its finger-licking goodness. It was simply outstanding. For breakfast, we indulged in Ghee Dosa, Masala Dosa, Poori, and Aloo Paratha. The Chicken 65 and Gobi Manchurian were also ordered. Gobi Manchurian could have been better tasting. However, the real showstopper was the Poori with Aloo Curry and Chole Curry - an absolute must-try! The overall experience was a huge hit, and we are already planning our next visit to savor more of their delectable offerings. The owners' dedication to both the cooking and service was evident, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. If I were to provide a suggestion, it would be to pay a bit more attention to the seating arrangements. Nonetheless, this minor detail did not overshadow the fantastic food and service. In conclusion, Annapurna Foods is a culinary treasure in Plymouth, MN, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious dining experience. We can't wait to come back for more culinary delights!”

“This is a perfect eat out for Indian street food livers. Loved the Chhola Bhatura and Masala Dosa. Especially the chhola curry was too good. This will be my regular go to place to enjoy a heartful plate of chhola bhatoora!!”

“We stopped for lunch. The service was excellent, and we were served in a timely manner. I went with my Indian friend and she helped me with the menu since I am new to the Indian cuisine and I just know the basic dishes. Menu does not have pictures, so it was not easy to decide what to order. Food tasted authentic and really good. The location is very easy to reach right off hwy 55. Plenty of tables and seating.”

“The tacos are big and ingredients fresh and flavorful. We had carnitas (pork), guava BBQ pork, firecracker shrimp, and barbacoa. They were all excellent. When I return, I’ll order 2 guava BBQ pork as they are so good. Mind you, the zesty firecracker shrimp is quite tempting too. The menu offers many options to explore. The process point is good, considering the generous portions. I was hungry but two tacos plus our order of chips and guacamole was all I could eat. I guess im a two taco guy. The venue is large with ample seating - including outside when the weather warms up. The staff was friendly and service professional. It has a very upbeat vibe. Family friendly too! They have a couple of TVs mounted high. I find them unnecessary and distracting, but I guess some people like to watch sports while eating out. Ample free parking outside in the lot. I’m glad a good Mexican restaurant has moved into town. I’ll be back.”

“These guys are the best! I've visited here a few times and the coffee has been spot on each and every time. Walk up mobile order window fast, easy and the order is seemingly always ready. Moreover, one specific visit stands out: while overwhelmed with multitasking (kids, work, dog...you name it), I made a mistake on my mobile order. The crew here bailed me out and fixed it in short order -- all with good cheer and compassion for an error-proned, overwhelmed guy. Highest possible recommendation for this outstanding team!”

“The Golf Garage is a first class simulator experience. These simulators are top of the line and the bays are well designed. If you're looking to go super deep into your game, the data that these things can display is amazing. If you're just coming for a good time, and of course you choose to play. It's going to look vivid and beautiful on the high quality impact screens. The whole vibe is spot on, especially on a weekend like this with the Masters going on! There's a bar and lite menu as well! The Golf Garage is destined to be a premiere golfing location in the Twin Cities!”

“Every moment I have had with either ordering her food or using her place for an event has been a one of a kind experience. All her food gives you a taste of home in each bite. There have been times when food pickup times have been delayed. Overall, I would order from here again.”
