“We stop here for dinner everytime we go to the Gunflint Trail, we love it! The menu is unique, made from scratch, thoughtful and DELICIOUS! I had the best soup of my life here a few days ago. “Yummy food. Fast and friendly service. Great atmosphere. I had the shrimp po boy and potato wedges. A large sandwich...I took half home to eat later. “This place just opened a few weeks ago so I had to try it. The menu has a very ol traditional style cafe/diner vibe to it. It actually just what this town needs! The food is good, the atmosphere is nice and the prices are very affordable. Service was still good even though the place was extremely busy. Our waitress was busting her butt! My gf had a breakfast plate while I had a hot beef. Both were very good and portion size was decent especially for the price. I will definitely be back here again soon!”

“7-17-2023 dinner time. A brand new store. This was our first ever visit to a Jersey Mike’s. The store was very clean and wide open. There were five or six employees, all doing their jobs. My wife ordered the #8 Club Sub. I had the #9 Club Supreme. About twenty bucks for these two subs. I must say we were quite excited after the second bite. They were DELICIOUS! All these years we’ve been missing out. Needless to say we will be returning. I’ve posted four pictures. Try it you’ll like it.”

“I sat down and was served immediately. The bar was already pretty full. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The bar is a well worn oak and has farmhouse style lights. I ordered a Sam Adams Octoberfest and actually I could tell it was an older keg. I ordered the sausage tips. They came almost immediately and were delicious, hot and spicy. After the Sam Adams Octoberfest, I switched to a Blue Moon and that keg was better.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of eating here multiple times & it has become my favorite local restaurant! They have really put a lot of care, thought & creativity into the menu. I love that they use fresh, organic ingredients and I can feel good about my family eating out. “Not a great choice for large groups. I had called twice in the two weeks prior to make a reservation for a Saturday at 4:15. They said that I could the first time I called, and he said he had me down. I then told him how many people, day and time because he never asked. I felt uneasy about it because I had a party of 15. I called again two days later to confirm I had a reservation. He had no record, but said I could make one and took my info again. I knew I wasn't going to have a reservation and just went with it. When the first of our group arrived, the staff had no reservation or notice of our group. That was fine, they arranged tables to accommodate us in the moment. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with that many people in a group. The food came out sporadically over a 20 minute span and they couldn't match person with order. And they were using different words to describe the food then the menu used so when they asked the table who ordered it, no one claimed it because they didn't know to. The checks came out a mess and took awhile to distribute. We were a large group, so I understand the struggle. We had to pay at the register, but weren't told that, so we spent an obnoxious amount of time taking up space waiting for the cards to be collected and ran. And in the end, the food was just okay. Forgettable, but filling.”

The server was quick and got every order correct. Surprised we didn't have much of a wait for our food either. The food was really good. Many people in my group were satisfied. I even mentioned that Belle Plaine finally has a restaurant to compete with Johan's, for food quality. I got the Mac n cheese with Buffalo chicken. Ate it all. Shared cheese curds with my brother and we ate them all. The food wasn't terribly priced. Most dishes seemed to be $15-ish dollars.”

“The food is phenomenal. Erin is an excellent waitron. She will remember your order and take good care of you. Yes, they are a bit understaffed at the moment but the food far makes up for the wait. The pancakes, fried green beans, and Walleye are spectacular! There is always a very inexpensive daily special. The best one is the coconut shrimp 🤤. I'm. Pescatarian and there are PLENTY of options. “We have only done delivery so far, so the average rating for atmosphere is solely based off of us never being in the restaurant. We have ordered pizza twice from Lulu’s, both times the food was delicious!🤤 😋 What has made me a loyal customer is that the owner is a hands on, do what’s right person. Due to unforeseen circumstances my delivery order took longer than normal. When I called to inquire about my order the owner answered, apologized, and explained the situation. The owner more than met my expectations and was extremely gracious. Due to the way everyone I interacted with handled the situation at no point was I ever upset. Did I mention that I am just a bit outside of their normal delivery area? Yeah, Jason is a great owner the food is delicious! This is the type of business I want to support! “I hate to give a new "start up" restaurant a mediocre rating, but this location has probably been 3 different restaurants in the past 5 years and they have all made the same mistakes. Even though it's on the water on Lake Minnetonka it has virtually no view as it is surrounded by a large boat marina. Second the view that you would have is obstructed by a 4 foot high wooden fence(see photo). Food and drink prices are moderately expensive. They have NACHOS priced at $26.00. If they would make some modifications, like improving the view and getting more reasonable with prices, it would be a great place.”
