“This location is hands down the best shipleys! I was so happy when I walked in and they had an ice and soda machine! Then the also sold bottled unsweetened tea! I looked at my brother and said the only thing that could make this any better is if the had mustard and to my surprise they did! None of the other locations I've been to had these items. All Shipleys have kolaches and donuts that's a given. I want to say thank you to the owner of this location for adding these items to your store. I pay attention to the small details. To add the last time I went to a different location the kolaches were hard and old. I am glad I stopped here. The kolaches and donuts were fresh. Plus the kolaches are best with mustard!”

“It’s only a matter of time before this place becomes consistently busy, so I’d highly recommend going while the weather is great outside. Hands down my new golden hour spot. The burger reminded me of the one I had at Buzz’s Steakhouse in Kailua, Oahu — which is special due to the kiawe grills. The Torpedo Fries are unique and I stuffed my fat face. Prob best of all: The staff is super friendly and engaging, including ours Arielle and the bus runners. We saw other customers taking photos with waitresses as boats were pulling up. Overall, one of the best outdoor dining experiences we had in a long time. Highly recommend to those who like recommendations.”

“Very nice authentic viet place. They had such a wide variety of options on the menu! Really glad to have another nice pho place nearby. The waitress spoke in both English and viet. The food was good, I enjoyed my special pho noodles and the broth. The small pho was actually really big. The viet coffee with condense milk was strong as expected and nice. My sister and mother bough the Hu Tieu dry and soft version P.S- don’t worry about meat being pink. If you had pho before you know they’re usually thin and will get cooked by the broth”

This is the only Shipley's in South Houston that will drop donuts and cook them fresh. I've been to 2 other Shipley's in the south Houston area and THEY Will ABSOLUTELY NOT DROP FRESH DOE😔 If you want fresh ask for it. And wait it's worth it. But for the most part they make em early enough for them to be delicious. If your not happy go back and I'm sure they will be more than willing to help you out.”

“We split the Petra sandwich and combination plate. Everything was great and the portions were generous. The Petra sandwich was like a grilled Mediterranean burrito with chicken, pickles and special sauce. Very tasty! The combination plate had two heaping portions of gyro and shawarma served with rice, onions, hummus pita bread, and taziki sauce. My favorite was the gyro meat very flavorful and tender. Neither one of us finished our dish and we came home with a full to go box. Very good fusion of Greek and middle eastern dishes. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend stopping in.”

The seasoned fries were a fantastic complement to the meal, and they were deliciously seasoned. The variety of boba teas and smoothies they offer is impressive, and I can't wait to try more of them. I also have to mention that their Boba sauce is absolutely delicious! “I live down the road from this place. 4 minutes away. This was my first time actually trying this place. I called a few weeks ago wanting to try it out and called about 4-5 times nobody answered. So I gave up. Now yesterday I called again (to place an order pickup as I have a toddler and an infant) and nobody asnwered the first 4 times. Finally on the 5th call someone answers!! It was around 4:45pm and 10 minutes later I show up to pick up my food and the place is empty! I ask the dude at the register if its been busy he said no. So why dont they ever pick up the phone!???! Customer service could definitely improve. Now, the food? It was 10/10. I got extra spicy original sando combo the one with two tenders in the sandwich. It was wet not dry which I preferred. When selecting spice levels, the first two least spicy flavors are dry, after that the tree top spicy flavors are wet. Soo delicious, it had me licking my fingers!! The french fries are crispy like no other fry I've had and well seasoned. Definitely taste better than any other french fries around, im lookin at you raisin cane's. I ate this in my car before my son's soccer practice. 1 hour later I come back in my car for the left overs and it was still very crispy tasted fresh not like if it was sitting out for an hour in my car! Seriously its THAT good. Im definitely coming back but please please tell the employees to pick up the phone!!!”

“The food was delicious! Sam took our order and was very friendly! He continued to check on us and make sure everything was good and we had everything we need. The cook in the back was also very nice! He came out to make sure we enjoyed everything! My favorite was the tattoo blue taco and my boyfriend’s favorite was the birria queso taco. The margaritas were also delicious! I also liked that they had a salsa bar so we got to try different salsas. The green one was my favorite. We will definitely be back!!”
