“As soon as you walk in you will be greeted by staff with a smile. The atmosphere is upbeat and warm. Listen to Japanese music while you enjoy amazing food. I can’t compare to authentic Japanese cuisine as I’ve never visited Japan, but this food was delicious. I recommend going and not being in a hurry if you’ve never eaten there so the owner can explain and suggest portions of the menu. I recommend getting the set with your bowl so you can try their perfect gyoza 🥟. I am so glad we decided to try this place on a whim. * for those that would like a beer. A few doors down is a very nice place to take your food so you can grab a beer.”

“Came here for dinner on May 10th. We got our food somewhat fast and it was pretty good. There were some minor errors, like they added cheese when we specifically said, no cheese, but that was OK. Some of the tomatoes had nasty black marks, almost like mold, or something was wrong with them. We dined inside and were expected a slightly larger dining area, but oh well.”

“First time eating here. Place was clean. We were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. They were very thick. Rice paper was torn when brought out. But very tasty with the peanut sauce. I ordered the Drunken Noodles spicy hot with shrimp. They did skimp out on the shrimp. Good heat to it and flavors were very delicious. Hubby got the seafood salad without the squid. The dressing had a tangy taste. He liked it very much. Overall, all 3 dishes were very good. We had to ask for small plates for the springs. None were given to us. The guy rolled his eyes but brought them to us. And we asked for extra napkins. Never asked if you would like anything. Checked on us only once. Can work on his people skills. Food is good enough for us to go back.”

“I stopped by for the first time and can say with 100% confidence I will be back! I got the Snowy Mocha and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet but still delicious! And the customer service was so welcoming! So happy to have them right so close by!”

“1 minor error in ordering, but this is a brand new location so no worries. Great food, attentive service, and very clean atmosphere. So happy they opened this location. They are only missing the loaded fries. Fried pickles are lightly breaded to perfection as are the mushrooms.”

“This is the best starbucks in my opinion. They have never made me a bad drink and the customer service is 10/10. I had actually stopped visiting starbucks locations in SA cos the drinks were mediocre every time but the Hondo one has renewed my starbies love.”

“This is the best little grocery “corner store” ever! They prioritize carrying foods with healthier ingredients but also have pizza for those nights you just need to grab something quick. My family is a fan of all of the fresh baked goods from cinnamon rolls and muffins to bread. To top it off, they serve coffee & free cookies daily which are delicious! They serve our community well but honestly, worth the drive if you live in Lubbock!”

“I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to make it to Chez Sami for a weekday lunch as I have been following Chef Jon on social media for a long time! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! It feels very classy and has a romantic French atmosphere! The artwork o the walls is beautiful it almost feels like you’re not even in Lubbock! The waitress was very attentive and friendly, we were made aware of the specials and she answered all my questions. The food was served promptly, and it was DELICIOUS! The sauce was so flavorful and all the ingredients complimented each other so well! Chef Jon definitely knows what he is doing! So grateful for this gem of a restaurant to be here in Lubbock! 10/10 recommend!”

The Cloud Nine is equally impressive, delivering a heavenly taste sensation. Beyond the food, the service is exceptional, with staff embodying warmth and professionalism. The diverse community adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a delightful experience. Ground Zero is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where flavors mingle, and communities come together in harmony.”

“Just heard about this place and had to try it. They have all sorts of meats and sweets. We decided to try the smash burgers, and they were awesome. They had that nice crispy char on the patty. The fries were perfectly cooked ac had a nice seasoning on them. Have to go back and try the rest of the menu. Service was awesome and friendly. The only complaint is that it was a little warm inside. Other than that, it was a great find. I highly recommend it.”

“Decided to try the new place by my house. Glad I did! Inside they have grocery staples and a restaurant in the back. The food was very good and they give so many different things to add to your tacos. I had a lunch plate with the stewed fajita meat and he got the breakfast burrito. We will definitely be back for the food as well as the fajita meat I was drooling over in the meat market counter.”

“So this amazing woman I'm lucky enough to call my wife and partner in crime was able to get us VIP chefs table seats at the pre open for Ishtia the next great restaurant from the amazing culinary wizard David Skinner of eculent fame. If you have never been or are looking for an amazing foodie experience... Get reservations today. It's not cheap but well worth it. Could not think of a better way to ring in my 60th. Wow. Sorry no pics yet till it opens officially next week. AMB2! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Awesome bar overall. Good music but nothing too loud like other places nearby. Only one bartender was working busy Friday night but overall still good service. Shot some pool and hung out and had a good time.”

“Tacos were great. We tried the pastor, fajitas and egg/chorizo. Really good. Server was super nice. They said 8 minutes to get our food but it turned out to be 24. Thankfully we weren’t in a hurry.”

“Finally, I tried this place, and I'm actually impressed. The menu has very little selection, so at first, I was already iffy, but I tried their regular burger, cheeseburger, and double burgers and the fries.... and they were really good. The portions are a bit smaller than what I'm used to, but it was still filling. The flavor on the burgers was good, and I'm not sure if it was the sauce or the meat that was seasoned just right. The fries were not soggy at all, just the right amount of crispy. The only thing i can't comment on is the interior as we just went through the drive-thru. And the only other thing I'll deduct a point for was the Coke was not great, needed more syrup and carbonation. Otherwise, I'm definitely going to be coming back!”
