“I grew up on the east coast in a small town that had a Rita's. It was always so delicious and just the perfect treat. I've lived in Texas for 15 years and every now and then I'd get a craving and see if Rita's had opened up here. Finally one did! Made the wife come with me and my goodness, it's not just nostalgia, it's just as delicious as it was all those years ago. I always go for the gelati with the ice and custard. The sweet ice that has the smoothest texture compared against rich bold creamy custard, if I lived closer I'd go every day. Plus as a kid, I only ever got one flavor but, now as an adult I can try their multitude of rotating flavors! Got to try the strawberry Colada, absolutely delicious. Plus this location was well kept with a friendly fast working staff. I wish them all the success so that hopefully they can open a closer location to SA and I'll frequent that one even more 😂”

“We go to get donuts at least once a week while we are visiting in Texas. I don't have anything against Texas donuts but I really think Michigan has the best variety, hands down. All I see here are mostly glazed donuts with various sprinkles. We have glazed, cinnamon sugar, nutties, maple rolls, every kind of cream-stick, pumpkin, chocolate (plain and glazed), powdered sugar, dark chocolate chip, lemon, bear claws, fruit-filled, peanut butter, eclairs, and on and on. Our grandkids can't wait for their favorites when they come visit us.”

“I will start with the service which I bet in a year this will be irrelevant, if you’re a new customer dining in just be patient with the employees it clear everyone is still getting it together and learning how to service their guest. “After watching taco chronicles on Netflix, I had the craving for some tacos. I typically like to look and find new places and found this hidden gem in Horizon City. It's a smaller restaurant tucked away in a shopping plaza. It has 4 - two person tables, 2 - 4 person tables, and 1 - three person table. I had the fried tacos, rolled tacos ranchera style, and my wife had the enchiladas. The salsas that came pre meal were also very good. Ultimately it was a very satisfying meal. The tacos were loaded with meat, the Flautas were STUFFED with chicken, no skimping out on that. Everyone was getting menudo, so we asked the waitress if she could give us a sampler bowl and now I see why. I have to say hands down the best menudo I've ever had and it's going to be my wife's go to on Sunday mornings to pick up and bring to her parents. The "soup" was flavorful, and the meat was not rubbery, it was almost melt in your mouth good. I will say that although everything was great, the salt level is just perfect and a sprinkle away of being too salty. The waitresses were nice and attentive. I highly recommend you try this location.”

“Was approached at the Flying J by two young ladies from Nutri Zn with drinks and flyers. At first, I declined probably out of habit when the first young lady approached me. As she walked to another truck I thought to myself "I am thirsty, though." Then the second young lady that I didn't see before approached and I'd made up my mind that it would be a good idea to get a drink. (We all need second chances 😁) This pink drink tastes pretty good 😋 Reminds me a little bit of a tropical beach ⛱️ If I was a native to the El Paso area I'd check them out again for sure.”
