ORIGINAL REVIEW (05-18-2020): I had an amazing experience ordering some 'Happy B-Day' donuts for a family member. I live in California and was hoping to have these delivered to my family member in Boerne. The employees/owners were super approachable, friendly, and responded very promptly in order to help me make this happen. I was able to do this all through FB Messenger which was great! They also allowed me to include a note to attach with the donuts which was an extra perk I was not expecting at all. I am beyond happy with what a paid for and will definitely be placing more orders with them in the future. This business is more than a place that cares to make money but rather they genuinely care for their customers which is quality that is so rare but greatly appreciated! “This place has fantastic breakfast sandwiches! They’re heavy, buttery, & cheesy balanced out with a light, flavorful green sauce that comes on the side. (You’ll want it on everything!) There’s one guy working here slinging out orders in a frenzy. Notable thing about the sandwiches is that they are not made of two slices of bread. It’s one ultra-thick piece that’s sliced 80% of the way down so no scrambled eggs fall out the back when you’re eating. Innovation!”

“Karinderya is a new track here in Shaenfield. It's a startup family owned business - at first they have weird hours but finally they found their groove and now have standard time. Going back and forth here for awhile now, the people do helps you to understand what's on the menu as they are serving some of the food in the Philippines that not served to any Filipino Restaurant here in San Antonio. The place is well lit up so you can eat on their mini setup or just do takeout. The food we ordered was always hitting few spots of how I remember it in the Philippines. I love how the portion always equal your penny. Overall, it is a food truck that I would stop by to get a good and fresh meal.”

“My parents live in Pipe Creek. We found this place by accident and am I ever glad we did! From the forst moment you walk in it feels more like a house than a restaurant. They cook the food right in front of you on a regular kitchen stay oven. Each taco was made one by one to the owners standards. Now on to the food... I ordered the chorizo tacos and my daughter had the bacon and egg tacos. The chorizo was awesome! It wasn't greasy or runny and the flavor was off the charts!! Mu daughters bacon and egg tacos had the thunk cut and amazing bacon! The tortillas are amazing as well! They aren't chewy and have a flavor that brings out whatever is in then! Over all folks, this place is a win and you owe it to yourself to stop in!”

My taste buds just got back from a thrilling vacation courtesy of their Mexican food, and let me tell you, it was a fiesta to remember. We dived headfirst into their enchilada dinners, both chicken and beef, and it was like a flavor-packed joyride through Mexico. The chicken enchiladas were so tender and juicy, I’m convinced they must have recruited a top-secret chicken-whisperer to make them. As for the beef enchiladas, each bite was a beefy burst of happiness that made me question all my previous life choices (like why I hadn’t eaten here sooner). The sauce on these enchiladas was so magical, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a wizard in the kitchen concocting it. It was the perfect balance of tangy, savory, and spicy—basically, a sauce that could broker world peace if given the chance. Service was speedy and friendly, making us feel like we were old friends popping in for a quick bite. If you haven’t tried the Tiger Travel Center’s Mexican food yet, do your taste buds a favor and get there ASAP. “This place is hit or miss in a big way. I have been two times. The first time. I thought the tacos and service were pretty good. I enjoyed 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 brisket taco. The second time was a disaster of an experience. It took 40 minutes to get my taco order for dinner. I think they were having staff or inventory issues. It took forever and then they got my order wrong. Hopefully, they get their service issues figured out.”
