“I got the chance to make it here for opening day and man oh man is this the place to grab your wings on game day. The location is right off of Richmond Highway Alexandria so very convenient spot. I needed 50 wings for my Sunday Football party. Looked at the menu and 30 flavors to choose from, decided to go with 5 spread across 10 each. Let me tell you these were the crispiest and sauciest wings I've ever had. This place is a hidden gem. Definitely better than the other America's Best Wings around. This is my go to spot for wings going forward.”

“My fiance and I love this place! We frequent it. Alison, the manager, is very accommodating and delightful, and the employees are friendly and fantastic. Scott, the owner, is a great guy too. They also have a newer location in Old Town that I would recommend.”

“Wonderful experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food. The homemade biscuit and gravy or honey butter absolutely must be tried. I'd order that as a meal next time! The homemade key lime pie was to die for. Majority of the group didn't care for the potato side, one of them saying the potatoes were not cooked through, so I took off a star. Otherwise, the food got a round of thumbs up. The price was fair for the view and dining experience - good for a vacation brunch just once, but not somewhere to go for frugal eating.”

“The service was fantastic. The view was even better. The drinks and appetizers, we had the charcuterie board, we're also great. For the most part the meals.were good too with one exception. All of them eggs were overcooked. We had 2 different Benedict plates and another meal had over easy eggs. The poached eggs were more soft boiled and not remotely runny and the over easy eggs were cooked through. Aside from that, the omelets were good, the hangover sandwich was great and the French Toast bread pudding was delicious.”

“The service here was absolutely impeccable. We had one server handle a large group of us, and she did fantastic. The food is fresh and the menu is very fusion style. I got the scallops. The actual scallops were delicious but the rest of the plate was far to spice and inedible for me. Appetizers were super fresh as well. The flan was good, but is not a traditional flan.”

“Having lived in the area for a few years I am always willing to stop by to try out new restaurants. I stopped by for lunch on my own and enjoyed the food so much that I convinced friends to try out more of the menu a few weeks later. The entrance is a small area that opens up to a larger restaurant area. I was surprised for lunch that there were so many empty tables but it allowed us to be seated right away. It took us a little while but we did order several items to share including soup dumplings, a scallion pancake, pork belly, and others. This was my first time trying soup dumplings and they were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going back again another day!”

“A traditional Italian place in old town. There are several but this one is by far my favorite. The food was awesome and the servers are very friendly. There's also a live pianist on the weekends. I feel like I could eat the pasta here every day of my life. Be warned, the service is a little slow. But that's not a bad thing. It's all a part of the vibe. “Had an amazing dinner here. The service was superb,the atmosphere was old world,and the food was delicious. We sampled several of the appetizers and a few of the salads. Salmon and trout for the main course and then a special dish of vegetables and different variety of beans for a vegan option. Looking forward to returning for a special event in November. “Kismet Modern Indian is one of my favorite Indian cuisine restaurants in Alexandria. In a quaint modern space off King Street in Old Town with an impressive menu of staples and twist on Indian staples. We were promptly seated for a dinner reservation and there is paid street parking nearby. The staff is attentive and when I visit in person I am generally always visited by the manager on duty at the table. They truly care about your experience at the restaurant. The food is always good - I have yet to have a dish that I did not like. The atmosphere of the restaurant has moderate lively noise because of the space. I recommend a visit! Prices are $$-$$$ depending on menu items ordered.”

“Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, all around great experience! We've been here a few times and we always enjoy ourselves. We normally sit at the bar which is in a cozy little offshoot away from the main dining room. The steaks we've gotten have always been cooked to perfection. The bartenders are always on point making delicious drinks that are served with style. I always recommend the 1799 Smoked Manhattan for any whiskey fans that we bring here. “A Memorable Dining Experience at Mystic BBQ & Grill My recent visit to Mystic BBQ & Grill was an absolute delight from start to finish. The experience began with two incredible appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes topped with lump crab and drizzled with a tangy lemon-habanero comeback sauce, and the Gumbo Ya YA, featuring wood-grilled chicken and andouille sausage. The lemon-habanero sauce perfectly enhanced the flavor of the crispy fried green tomatoes, adding a zesty kick that was simply divine. The Gumbo Ya YA transported me straight to New Orleans with its authentic taste and rich, flavorful broth. Both appetizers were fresh and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we enjoyed the Jumbo Lump Crab Sandwich and the Mystic Baby Back Ribs. The Jumbo Lump Crab Sandwich was outstanding, with generous portions of crab and minimal filler, complemented beautifully by crisp lettuce and a flavorful Florida mustard sauce. The Mystic Baby Back Ribs were another highlight – tender, expertly seasoned, and lightly coated with a delectable BBQ sauce that didn't overpower the meat's natural flavors. The staff at Mystic BBQ & Grill were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was pleasant and laid-back, perfect for a relaxing meal. “This is a great place to get a sandwich right off the Alexandria waterfront. My group was walking from Jone’s Park to the south along the waterfront and decided to get a meal. There are many choices for food in the Alexandria city proper and a few right along the water. As you can tell from it’s name, this is a sandwich shop in the corridor of a larger building. It has windows along both sides of the store making it very light and bright inside the store. Seating is limited with only a small bar with about 4 seats at the back. We chose to sit by the public tables near waterfront park. You order at the counter closest to the door. The menu is located on the back wall behind the counter and is a set of sandwiches ranging in price from about $11 to $13. I got the Roast beef and Blue sandwich. The food was prepared as we waited and was ready within about 10 minutes. It was one of the best sandwiches I have had with good bread, excellent roast beef and real crumbles. The store was clean. The staff was nice and it was a pleasant experience. Overall, I plan to visit here again to try more of their sandwiches. I hope you will too.”

“My wife and I went walking along the Gloucester Historic District with our dog and decided to order a couple of drinks and sandwiches while sitting outside in a very nicely shaded area with umbrellas The food was great and the draughts were wonderful. The ordering and service were 5 of 5. We had the Cherry almond chicken salad and a turkey Brie sandwiches. There are inside seats in a cooled area as well and everything is easily found in menus or coolers.”
